I literally said none of these things I said Collins could be a trade option next season, he's not just hurt they're getting better production from his replacement. No need to get testy over nothing.
Lael Collins could be a trade option next offseason, he has huge upside and physical traits and might have lost his starting role due to injury.

Plausible considering that we draft BPA.
Damon Harrison signed a 5/46 contract so Brandon will make more, the way these FA contracts are blowing out he could command 10M a year so we have to decide if he is worth that or not. Personally I think it's too much money for a player who isn't a dominant pass rusher, luckily we have Pierce who would be the next man up.
I'd like to see us focus on a deeper rotation with more power players, and we need to put an emphasis on durability.
I'm hoping we can land two in the draft, durability is a major issue.

If you could slash his salary down to around the $2M range, you can free up about $3-3.5M in cap space, which would be beneficial.
2. No scenario where we cut Gillmore. He's extremely cheap (cap hit under $1M in 2017) and he's easily are most well rounded TE on the roster. I agree with durability issues, but you don't cut players as productive as him (especially as a blocker in a run game that's struggling) for durability issues. Him not playing isn't costing the team that much in terms of spending, because he doesn't make much money.
3. Maxx will similarly be retained because he's also affordable and is probably the better pass catching TE on the roster.
4. No idea what happens with Boyle or Waller. I'm not a big fan of Boyle, but he's similarly affordable. Waller is a good ST player and seems to be gaining steam as a pass catcher, so he likely stays.
My guess is that we definitely keep Crockett, Waller and Maxx, and then probably look to add a TE in the draft or in FA. I don't think Boyle is guaranteed a roster spot.
I didn't say we should cut Gillmore just that we should move on when his contract is up, it's definitely Pittas last year here though. Gillmore/Maxx/Boyle/Waller doesn't inspire a lot of confidence so we should keep looking for upgrades.

2) I think Lewis is progressing very quickly at LG. We may want to find more depth but I believe he's our starter of the future.
3) Imo we lack some push from our C position. Zuttah's nice but the more I think about it the more I believe he's playing a large role in our run game struggles.
Brandon Brooks, he signed for less than we offered KO ($8M) and Stefan Wisniewski who signed for 1.5M a year. Both have scheme diverse traits and can cover multiple positions.
Lewis is probably our future RT, hes not really suited for the interior. There are tall guards but the better ones are powerhouse maulers.
I think we should move on from Pitta and Crockett due to age and durability issues, availability should be a focal point if we're serious about being more consistent.
As for Boyle I dont like him on our team but I dont think hes going anywhere, luckily he is a well rounded talent and could be a good #2 TE provided he stops juicing.
Maxx Williams has to be the guy going forward, he has the most natural talent as a reciever and would probably look a whole lot better in the right high powered offense, we've done him no favors.
Waller has athleticism and potential but is way behind the curve.
45 minutes ago, Jacquouille said:Well, the main problem is you can't pinpoint one player and say "we need to replace that guy and upgrade that position" because they each have some good moments and some bad ones...
Last offseason I identified LG and C that needed attention and there were two upper mid tier players who were perfect matches, both signed with the Eagles. This coming offseason there aren't any FA linemen who fit the bill. We need to find our next KO/Yanda in the draft.
On 11/13/2016 at 8:06 PM, Jacquouille said:My problem with the OLine is that I don't know who's the man we should replace. They seem to all have great games then awful ones...
I think it's just consistency, theres no point having a lineman who destroys his man one play then becomes a turnstile the next. It also comes down to having the right kind of players and it's no secret that the best guards in the league are former college tackles, now I know Alex Lewis is a former tackle but he's not a powerhouse like KO, Jensen as well but he wasn't much of a technician, so it still comes down to having the right type of players.
We cannot keep ignoring the oline, we need a Titans kind of renaissance up front otherwise Joe could have another lame duck season.
The good news is I think we're set at tackle for a few years at least.
Arrival might be the best movie I've ever seen and I don't say that lightly.
If Flacco starts to turn it around we could actually make a serious postseason run.

Unless the NFL already sanctioned color rush uniforms as their own special thing. Which would be horrible yet typical of Goodell.
He-who-must-not-be-named said that if he were elected to a certain position (which he did a few days ago) he would fire Goodell.

When was the last time Harbaugh did black on black uniforms?
Hopefully he can stay healthy, because he has top 3 type potential.
The last few days didnt happen.
Suggs sure doesnt look like a 34 year old with a torn bicep.
Also the best Ravens uniform I've seen, they look great.
I think TWD can survive another 6 seasons, provided they focus on the characters and not just make them do the same arbitrary stuff. People doing things isn't good storytelling.
Personally I found Abrahams death more poignant, I always knew Glenn was going to die and die that way but man I really wanted to see Abes relationship with Sasha fleshed out.

The lousy pass rush was a team effort. Only Judon and BWill did well.
I spent a significant amount of space on the pass rush in my piece today, but the upshot is the secondary played an amazing game under difficult circumstances:

How does Judon stack up with the rookie pass rushers? im working on a theory... thanks in advance.

A lot of Ravens fans probably wish they had Tyrod or Russell
47 minutes ago, Edgar said:Imagine this defense with a dominant edge rusher out of next year's draft.
If Judon continues to get pressure and we are able to draft a player who consistently brings it, this defense will be very exciting.
Dominant rookie pass rushers are rarer than owls teeth, I think the last one was Von Miller.
KO leaving is whats wrong with the run game, alongside Yanda he helped cover Zuttahs deficiencies and propel a journeyman like Forsett to the pro bowl.
I said last year that in three years he would be better than Yanda who is ageing, thats already starting to happen with KO named to every midseason AP list.

It's widely assumed that he's going to be overpriced, we're talking Damon Harrison type money.
