He was having a good season before his injury, but we have enough guys sitting on IR every year.
I'm convinced Dodd will become the best pass rusher in this class. I think he has the best all round game and projects the best against NFL caliber tackles, especially with one or two offseasons in the weightroom.

Well the ideal LT is both powerful and agile and I only see one in this draft. The smaller more agile tackles don't always have great footwork, and if they don't work out on the left they don't have the same versatility to play inside or on the right like a mauler.
Hopefully Bosa runs at the combine and gets overlooked like Suggs was.
I'm a fan of short seasons ie True Detective and Luther, I think it makes for a much more memorable narrative without the filler. As long as the director can harness the "moment in time" and make it accessible then theres no reason it can't reach it's former levels of cultural saturation again.

The QBs are very solid but not that kind of good for a move up that costs 2 round2 picks as well as the round1. Would be cool but that is very wishful thinking. Most rams would give up is one of the roumd2 picks with their round1.
The talent grade has a steep drop where we draft so if our guys aren't there then trading back for an additional 2nd would be worth it, we're essentially rebuilding so we could use more picks on the front end.
Leaving a dumpster fire only works if you're not the actual dumpster fire.
I think it's worth mentioning that the best guards in the league are converted undersized tackles, Yanda, Josh Sitton, Zach Martin, Joel Bitonio, Evan Mathis etc
I've heard Bama teaches their backs to rake the ball after the catch instead of turning and making a play in the air, not saying thats true just what I've heard. As for Jones, he's got a lot to work on with his technique and timing so I doubt he makes much impact in his first few years.
Ogletree is a first round draft pick and plays behind the best line in football, so while he's not a bust he still can't tackle and hasn't lived up to expectations. The class was a dumpster fire, we could have had Kawaan Short and Tyrann Mathieu... but hindsight being 20/20 and all that stuff.
Looking back at Browns college tape he just doesn't look like the same player. But then again neither do Ogletree, Manti Teo, Kevin Minter, Jon Bostic, Sio Moore etc etc. It was an awful MLB class.
Can you imagine a year of Webb and Hill trying to take down tight ends?

- The Revenant
- The Big Short
- Mad Max: Fury Road
- What We Do in the Shadows
- A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting Existence
- Anomalisa
- Room
- Sicario
- The End of the Tour
- Youth
The only films I still need to see which might be in contention are The Hateful Eight, and Carol. The Lobster would be up in my top 5, but is really a 2016 film.
Honoroable Mentions: Spotlight, Love & Mercy, Inside Out, Brooklyn, Beasts of No Nation, Hard to Be a God, Straight Outta Compton, Chi-Raq, Dope, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl
Solid list.
I have Mad Max, Ex Machina, Selma, Room and Beasts of no Nation in that order.

Our offense doesn't adjust either, it's frustrating to watch.

Sometimes busting through the backfield instantly isn't the only indicator of success, if that were the case then ngata would have been a bust.
Diversity, not just an old, old wooden ship that was used in the civil war era.
Ozzie got contrarian nerds mad wild up in this
MegaQuon in the lead
Thad Castle
I like Willie Beavers, he's raw but he has athleticism, power, length and isn't too tall to play guard. I think he's a lock because he has a base skillset to play any position except center.
Germaine Ifedi too.
Spriggs isn't strong enough, he will get eaten alive at the next level
I don't know about you guys but every year I just find it harder to project college DBs pro careers, I can't find a successful formula.
The NFL needs a true D league to address the lack of competitive parity, college is just a buffer for high school students to develop their bodies. Right now there are only about 10 maybe 15 quarterbacks that are good and there just aren't enough minutes to go around to see if any of the dozens of unheralded camp arms could develop into an NFL caliber QB, it makes me wonder how many Tom Bradys and Kurt Warners have slipped through the cracks because they didn't get a shot.

The top 10 picks over the last 5 years have been terrible except for 2011, maybe one or two each year has provided an immediate upgrade and/or lived up to draft position.

I agree with you, it would be nice to trade back and get a few more picks to select a guy you wanted anyway. I guess the questions we must ask are does anyone want to trade, what's the offer, how far back are we going, and will he still be there based upon teams ahead of us picking him?
Do you think he can handle the jump in competition?
What do you guys think of Kevin Dodd?

Realistically I think Monroe gets one more shot to prove that he can get healthy, I would be very surprised if KO stays.
