  1. My take is theres 4 changes that need to happen.

1 We need a coaching overhaul with focus on an offensive and defensive mindset, whether that includes Harbaugh depends on who is available. We need people who know what they are doing.

2 Rebuild the oline starting with the interior, even when Joe had protection this year he rarely played well. Give Flacco a monster ground game and he will play the way we know he can. Next years FA class is terrible.

3 More pass rushers, that means disruptive interior linemen and power edge rushers. Z Smith is not the answer and Kaufusi/KC are way behind the curve. It's time to move on from Doom and maybe even Suggs. This will help our DB situation until we can find the right players.

4 Add some speed to skill positions, if we can clear enough dead weight we can bring in a marquee free agent WR  in the future because we sure don't know how to develop one. Other skills positions can be addressed in the draft and free agency.

Main draft focus: Offensive line, pass rush

There's absolutely no way someone can throw out the excuse of injury. Everyone is hurt this time of year.

Yes Jimmy was out, but the Steelers are missing multiple starters on each side of the ball.

The game came down to our inept defense. This pass rush is horrible.

The defense kept us in the playoff hunt while Joe was playing awful.

jeff fisher was a known quantity too, lol.

point is harbaugh is the best coach we have ever had and you could see his superiority the way he turned around the billick fiasco. That being said we give him one more year and if he missed the playoffs 4 in 5 years we can bring in a new voice.

If you're going to compare them start with their win/loss and playoff records

Apparently he ripped off his helmet and threw it 15 yards towards the end zone and booted a ball that was laying on the ground, after 2 straight overthrows by Flacco.  Smith, then walked to the corner of the indoor facility and sat by himself.

Trouble for the Ravens?  Is our team falling apart?

We're a graveyard for receivers, they don't exactly come here to thrive.

Oh, he's allowed sacks, and a lot of them. He just has really picked it up in the last six, seven weeks.

Correction, you're right he hasn't allowed one in the second half of his season so far. I guess it's funny that we're comparing Stanley to Decker and not Tunsil like we all thought would be a huge star right out of the gate.

Except for a few things : We received a 5th round pick by way of trade with Jacksonville.

Spence is still on the board when we elect a  trade back and pass a second time. In this scenario, theoretically  we get Judon AND Spence but surrender a fourth rounder.

We shall see how both Correa and Spence turn out but right now it looks as though the best player available at a position of need was passed over, due at least in part to a sort of Will Hill effect.

In addition, the only credit we deserve for selecting Judon would have to do with taking him before anyone else.

If they had any clue he would play this way, they would have selected him earlier. They had no idea.

Mayock said the Titans wanted to move up for an OT and the trade scenario with us would have been their first and 2nd. With the magical benefit of hindsight we could have landed OT Decker and OLB Spence without giving up anyone. Judon and Spence anyone?

Conklin has a pretty big advantage of playing on the right side in a division that lost Watt. He also gets to play next to Ben Jones with a fairly mobile quarterback on a team that likes to run the ball, a lot.

He's playing great football (like really great), but I think there's a lot of help for him in Tennessee to ease his transition.

Thats a fair assessment, but even then he's already the best RT in football. If you want the best rookie LT well then it's Decker by some margin, no missed games, consistent run work and zero sacks allowed. He's the player we're hoping Stanley will become.

I have absolutely zero issue with putting Conklin up high and having Decker up that high after his recent play, but Tunsil is an absolute embarrassment.

He didn't have a great game against us (who does?) but he's really boosted their ground game, but he's definitely not as advertised. I said Conklin was the best from the start.

This I agree with that.  I don't even follow college football but guys like Spence, Ngoukoue, Cravens all interested me more.  I don't know what cravens has done, I feel like there was another.

I've heard a lot of early hype about Cravens being really good in coverage, it's a tricky skill to remain consistent at but a valuable one if he does.

it is funny how all these things come around in the draft as a whole

initially we heard two things - that this was a deep draft at certain positions and that there was a distinct top 5-6 players in the draft who were above

then we started focusing on the depth ourselves and almost talked our way out of certain players - especially pass rushers - it's funny because we talked ourselves into thinking players like bosa who a lot of people thought would never be amazing just solid, and ramsey who everyone thought was a slam dunk playmaker were just that - going against the initial impressions of bosa being watt-esque and the idea that you should never really take a cb that high

this is coming to fruition for a lot of teams around the league - it almost seems like the 3-5th rounds were more fruitful this year than the 2nd round and late 1st which is bizarre

I try to spot trends and see if or how much they change year to year, for example this year we're seeing a continuation of the trend where the best linemen are technicians from pro-style offenses ie Conklin, Whitehair and Taylor Decker. Stanley probably makes that list if injuries hadn't slowed him down.

Anyways, back to Correa. In a redraft we have to go with Whitehair, he helps us this season and the next 10.
