NOT LOVING THE PICK OF MARLON HUMPHREY THEY SHOULD HAVE TRADED DOWN
ONCE REDDICK AND BARNETT WENT OFF THE BOARD . O.J HOWARD WOULD HAVE UPGRADED THE PASSING GAME
I'm not a fan of the pick but maybe he can be a solid press man, who knows? we needed a high pick corner
Not even mad we missed the playoffs, we did it to ourselves. The way our offense has played all year, frankly, we didn't deserve to make it. The disparity between our offense and defense is remarkably bad and it's not even a talent issue, offense has pieces but poor execution and poor coaching would wreck any unit.
I'll admit, i'm sort of surprised that literally no one ever picked up Will Hill, he must have been really unapologetic about his issues so no one even wanted to try signing him regardless of his 10 game suspension. I just would have thought that some safety needy team would have signed him for next to nothing at some point.
PFF is hilarious. They gave Josh McCown a higher rating than Flacco for last Thursday nights game lol.I realize Flacco had about 4 What the heck? moments but I cant take your ratings seriously if you think McCown outplayed Flacco.
Anyone want to bring Torrey home on a reduced contract?
He's more reliable than Perriman or Moore
Why is it when Flacco isn't lighting up stat sheets everyone outside of Baltimore accesses his play in a vacuum, but when other top QBs are off the media will bring up WRs that aren't getting separation,an o line that isn't protecting and everything else. Before week 3 when Aaron Rogers wasn't playing well no one outside of Skip Bayless looked at it as his fault.Do I have a point or am I juseing a homer?
Watching Bortles last Sunday and Tannehill tonight makes me realize how spoiled we are with Flacco.I'd like for to improve his flaws just as every other Ravens fan would, but it could be alot worse.I couldn't imagine having my teams SB hopes rest on the shoulders of some of these guys like Bortles,Tannehill,Dalton,Stafford and Alex Smith. They're the ultimate tease. So close yet so far away.
I don't like to get in flame wars with anyone, particularly the Sun writers, but your observations on Preston's 6-step plan to fix the run game are spot on.
I would love to see Preston have to present a "plan" like this to management in a public company.
Some will disagree but I'm really, really pulling for Alexander at 36. The swagger is infectious, he's by no means a finished product and will benefit from sitting behind Wright from the start, but his ceiling is very high if our coaches can refine his technique. Leslie Frazier talking about our secondary being more aggressive this year would be great for Alexander, who if anything is at times too aggressive.
Just read an article in SB Nation that reported that Joey Bossa will hold out if drafted by the Ravens. The reason given--he harbors resentment toward Jim Harbaugh and Michigan. I wonder how accurate this story is. Certainly the Ravens are aware of this development.
Interesting debate I had today, Is Steve Smith more of a lock to make it into Canton over the other two major WRs of his era, whom are Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson? . I think so, and hope this year SSS goes out in a blaze of glory as he was before his injury. Undeniably a rare talent that will be hard to find again.
Yes absolutely. On a side note TO should have gone in before Harrison
I bet we'll bring in another vet ILB to take Daryl's place, lots of solid names hitting the market soon. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back later this offseason like what happened with Canty last year. I feel like this move is us desperately trying to get KO signed, I think its worth it.
Hate to see the Panthers in the SB: Cam is arrogant & a show boater, the defense is dirty & gets away with it & it is going to suck for SSS. Go Denver!
Well Suggs was accused of assaulting his wife, not saying hes guilty just saying that she accused him and he didn't deny it. The Suggs reconciled sure but so did the Rices which brings me to the Ray Rice incident, we all knew exactly what happened but were willing to look past it because A, we didn't see it happen and B, he makes plays. We have more black eyes off the field that have done far worse to our image than ripping up banners, so heres an old saying... don't throw stones...
