  1. NOT LOVING THE PICK OF MARLON HUMPHREY  THEY SHOULD HAVE TRADED DOWN

ONCE REDDICK AND BARNETT WENT OFF THE BOARD . O.J HOWARD WOULD HAVE UPGRADED THE PASSING GAME

I'm not a fan of the pick but maybe he can be a solid press man, who knows? we needed a high pick corner

  2. Not even mad we missed the playoffs, we did it to ourselves. The way our offense has played all year, frankly, we didn't deserve to make it. The disparity between our offense and defense is remarkably bad and it's not even a talent issue, offense has pieces but poor execution and poor coaching would wreck any unit.

  3. I'll admit, i'm sort of surprised that literally no one ever picked up Will Hill, he must have been really unapologetic about his issues so no one even wanted to try signing him regardless of his 10 game suspension. I just would have thought that some safety needy team would have signed him for next to nothing at some point.

  4. PFF is hilarious. They gave Josh McCown a higher rating than Flacco for last Thursday nights game lol.I realize Flacco had about 4 What the heck? moments but I cant take your ratings seriously if you think McCown outplayed Flacco.

Flacco had a bad first half so that probably erased whatever "ratings" they gave him in the second. They usually make good points but its subjective so who really cares?

  5. Cavs... 52 years. Cubs... 108 years. 2016, the year long championship droughts ended. The NFL Cardinals haven't won a title since 1947! 68 years(before Super Bowl era)! Are they next?

Lets end our long 4 year drought!

  6. Anyone want to bring Torrey home on a reduced contract?

He's more reliable than Perriman or Moore

  7. Flacco is awful now. Sure he hasnt had the best protection but his mechanics have been terrible. Throwing off his back foot, falling over without being touched, overthrowing people when he does have time....sad

    1. ALPHA

He had decent protection for the first 3 quarters

  8. Why is it when Flacco isn't lighting up stat sheets everyone outside of Baltimore accesses his play in a vacuum, but when other top QBs are off the media will bring up WRs  that aren't getting separation,an o line that isn't protecting and everything else. Before week 3 when Aaron Rogers wasn't playing well no one outside of Skip Bayless looked at it as his fault.Do I have a point or am I juseing a homer?

  9. Watching Bortles last Sunday and Tannehill tonight makes me realize how spoiled we are with Flacco.I'd like for to improve his flaws just as every other Ravens fan would, but it could be alot worse.I couldn't imagine having my teams SB hopes rest on the shoulders of some of these guys like Bortles,Tannehill,Dalton,Stafford and Alex Smith. They're the ultimate tease. So close yet so far away.

Very true, although I think Patriots fans probably think the same thing when they watch Flacco.

  10. I don't like to get in flame wars with anyone, particularly the Sun writers, but your observations on Preston's 6-step plan to fix the run game are spot on.

I would love to see Preston have to present a "plan" like this to management in a public company.

Preston is an observer, nothing more. He doesn't have a vested interest in any particular narrative and doesn't get lost in his feelings.

  11. Thursday can't get here soon enough. I get a treatment for my back that I hope clears up a couple of issues and of course...kick off for pre season football fun times!

  12. Chris Moore will be a star in this league. You heard it here first. If you are not convinced, watch this:

I see a poor mans Torrey Smith, although I hear he tracks the ball well

  13. i thought they drafted good players but i don't see any of them making a big impact, disappointing really. I would have given up Ronnie Staley and Bronson for Jalen Ramsey, an actual playmaking difference maker with immediate impact.

Ramsey has 3 interceptions in his college career

  14. I really liked Ramsey but I think Stanley ends up being our LT for the next 10 years.

    1. ALPHA

Ramsey could be another Michael Huff for all we know, we're not going to know how good or bad this draft is for 3 years.

  15. Some will disagree but I'm really, really pulling for Alexander at 36. The swagger is infectious, he's by no means a finished product and will benefit from sitting behind Wright from the start, but his ceiling is very high if our coaches can refine his technique. Leslie Frazier talking about our secondary being more aggressive this year would be great for Alexander, who if anything is at times too aggressive.

    1. ALPHA

      ALPHA

Alexander got knocked partly for his size but mostly for his attitude and coach interviews, he's self orientated as opposed to team orientated, self confidence is good but not when it's rubbing your teammates and coaches the wrong way.

  16. Just read an article in SB Nation that reported that Joey Bossa will hold out if drafted by the Ravens. The reason given--he harbors resentment toward Jim Harbaugh and Michigan. I wonder how accurate this story is. Certainly the Ravens are aware of this development.

  17. If Pitta plays this year, I will spend the entire time petrified for him

Money talks. He's rolling the dice against his health but it's his decision.

  18. What is your take on this prediction?

    6. (PROPOSED TRADE) New York Jets (from Baltimore Ravens) – Jared Goff, QB,

If Bosa, Ramsey and Tunsil are gone then it makes sense to move back. Guys like Spriggs, WJ3, Spence etc would be available at #20.

  19. I really cant believe Kobe only has four games left.....I Need To Watch At least one!!! I Will Sorely Miss The Black Mamba!! KOBE IS THE GOAT!! LAKERS ALL DAY TILL I DIE! GO RAVENS AS WELL!!

  20. trade back few spots and still draft VH3? possible

  21. Interesting debate I had today, Is Steve Smith more of a lock to make it into Canton over the other two major WRs of his era, whom are Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson? . I think so, and hope this year SSS goes out in a blaze of glory as he was before his injury. Undeniably a rare talent that will be hard to find again.

Yes absolutely. On a side note TO should have gone in before Harrison

  22. oh geez, does that mean Ravens will look to draft Myles Jack? or look at free agency for ILB?

  23. I bet we'll bring in another vet ILB to take Daryl's place, lots of solid names hitting the market soon. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back later this offseason like what happened with Canty last year. I feel like this move is us desperately trying to get KO signed, I think its worth it.

Nobody say Donald Butler, he's young and fast but from what I've read the guy quit when he got paid.

  24. Love Flacco's reply to Ryan Mink's question regarding what happened after he signed his new contract: "I went down to the basketball court and showed Mike Campanaro and Kyle Juszczyk a check that they've never seen before."

  25. Hate to see the Panthers in the SB: Cam is arrogant & a show boater, the defense is dirty & gets away with it & it is going to suck for SSS. Go Denver!

Well Suggs was accused of assaulting his wife, not saying hes guilty just saying that she accused him and he didn't deny it. The Suggs reconciled sure but so did the Rices which brings me to the Ray Rice incident, we all knew exactly what happened but were willing to look past it because A, we didn't see it happen and B, he makes plays. We have more black eyes off the field that have done far worse to our image than ripping up banners, so heres an old saying... don't throw stones...
