You're implying that running backs don't spend time in the weight room for fear of gaining weight.

Buck seems to me like a typical #3 back, but I don't think he's reached physical maturity and could make a big jump with another year in the weight room.

I don't put too much stock into Oz being in a slump or whatever, luck plays into selections and at the end of the day the player still has to stay healthy and progress/fit into the system.

I'm thinking he could slide if GM's downgrade him on pure athleticism.

I'd be happy with another Suggs, but not at the cost of tanking even if the season is lost.

Great game so far, my only issue is the sometimes lazy level design.

My concern is we have a few guys in key positions who cannot seem to shake the injury bug. Timmy Jernigan is an example of pro bowl type talent who is always banged up, it affects his consistency and long term prospects.

I think that's the tricky part, WR has the lowest success rate and we've never developed a 1st round pick into a #1 receiver. That doesn't mean it won't happen just that for whatever reason we suck when it comes to WR.

Luthor is incredible, better than the usual crime procedurals.

Was he overrated? I guess if you're a QB getting stared down by Megawatt you might pay less attention to the secondary.

Before we knock old receivers just remember the alternative is a corps made up of practice squad/camp bodies like the one we have now. Brandon Marshall and Andre Johnson were available for peanuts a few months ago. Top 5 studs don't just fall out of trees so if you don't have one you sign someone who used to be, we've had modest success doing this for years, Mase, Boldin, Smith etc.

I don't like the idea of calling him a bust halfway through his rookie season, Ronald Darby is probably the only player selected after Perriman who has made an impact so far but I don't think he was on our radar.

Don't we always draft best available? we have a lot of needs so projecting one position doesn't seem realistic. Maybe there will be another situation like last offseason when Brandon Marshall and Andre Johnson were available, people might shake their heads at more old receivers but we get a lot more out of unwanted veterans than the endless line of camp bodies we try to develop.

I think we have too much of a talent drought to make a deep playoff push, even if Flacco recovers his SB postseason form.

How much does he weigh? he doesn't look like he can two gap.
