  1. Do you have a source for the steroid allegation against Tunsil? I'm guessing this is why you have changed your opinion from Tunsil to Stanley.
  2. Thats just the gamble you take with any pick, is he going to be All-Pro or a bust? it is entirely possible that there is a better three down edge rusher in the draft, and if there is he is not immediately obvious.
  3. I guess the question is what can we take from this? a 10 yard split doesn't make a pass rusher, tackles make great guards etc
  4. Elite pass rushers rarely average more than one sack per game whereas a QB will average 35 pass attempts, individual sacks don't decide many games take Jared Allen for example, when he posted 22 sacks in 2011 the Vikings were still one of the worst pass defenses in the league. JJ Watt has two 20 sack seasons and he hasn't turned the Texans into a defensive powerhouse either. Now I'm not saying 20 sacks doesn't matter I'm saying pressures and sacks go hand in hand because while you can't always hit the QB you can still get in his face, QB's who are pressured make mistakes and are more likely to throw interceptions. Pass rushers are still reliant on other pass rushers to some degree, the more you have on the field the more they a freed up and the more disruptive your defense becomes. If like Bosa they are also dominant three down defenders against the run and have a motor to play 4 quarters thats even better. Also I clearly didn't say he got double teamed on every play, just that he gets double teamed. At the end of the day if you are in the backfield 6 times a game you are doing something right.
  5. Bosa gets compared to a lot of people including McPhee, but Bosa is a better prospect in every way, faster, stronger, more athletic, moves better, more durable, has better hand usage etc. He's the best pass rusher in the class, a McPhee clone might not be worth the 6th overall but 70 pressures in 12 games while being double teamed is.
  6. I have some concerns about Flacco's recovery, he could struggle if his leg doesn't feel right under him, so much of a QB's rhythm and arm strength comes from his legs.
  7. Treadwells numbers are comparable to Boldin, he ran a 4.71 second 40, posted a 33.5inch vert and a 7.35 second three cone drill. That was the sole reason why Newsome and Savage dropped him on our board and we ended up trading up for Boller. At the end of the day it's football not a track meet.
  8. Double hallucinating. Whatever he's on I want some.
  9. Lawson seems more like a reactor than a playmaker, he's still missing production on his pass rush.
  10. Did he work at footlocker this offseason too? great place to work on tackling.
  11. Olinemen aren't affected by the curse.
  12. Now that the Bosa buzz is picking back up I'm wondering if the Browns are going to take a QB, they need one but who knows how moneyball plays out?
  13. Lawson ticks all the boxes except producing to his talent level, he even edges Bosa in athleticism.
  14. Don't even play like that
  15. Cincy like big, high ceiling receivers, 6'1" or taller
  16. He would be wasted here, we don't do receivers any favors.
  17. Barkevious Mingo had similar play style and arguably better tape, but he lacked the functional strength to translate. As for Dodd I might have been his biggest fan here but looking back, his production came against college level right tackles on a stacked line. He has serious potential but probably a lower floor than I originally thought.
  18. Everyone in the draft is more a projection than a sure thing.
  19. I'm not arguing for Ragland
  20. It is if they can do it all, think Willis and Bowman.
  21. Great player and embodied the Raven ethos, but unfortunately he was an edge player who couldn't rush the passer. Alshon Jeffrey or Bobby Wager would have been better picks.
  22. Does anyone see Spence, Jackson and/or Alexander dropping into the 2nd? I would be surprised if any of them fall especially Spence.
  23. He has some unintentional "frat boy 90's Affleck" moments as Bruce Wayne but overall he's ok. The movie is a big mess, Snyder hasn't learned anything but it's still a fun movie.
  24. There are some really good interior options in the 2nd round. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this but center is a need as well, we could use an upgrade.
