The Ravens issues boil down to one thing...talent. Aiken is not a starting WR in this league, Forsett is simply starting to look exactly like what he's looked like his entire career with exception of ONE year (last season)...a journeyman. Suggs is a top 5 pass rusher in this league & Steve Smith Sr. was arguably a top 10 WR. You don't lose BOTH of those players & still expect to win games in this league. Look, the Ravens were due a season like this. Oz is still one of if not the best GM in the league...they'll be right next season. They'll have another strong draft which will be defense heavy & hopefully they make a real solid effort to go after Alshon Jeffery in free agency like they did a couple years ago when they acquired Anquan Boldin. "Buck" will probably be the better RB by the beginning of next season & officially become the starting RB. Also, I think its safe to say that Maxx & Crockett are gonna be a serious problem for opposing defenses a year from now. 8 playoff appearances in 9 years will spoil any fan base so the overreactions are expected buts its just gonna be a retool off-season for the Ravens...not a "Lets blow it all up & start from scratch!" off-season.

If Rice was signed by the Giants, Redskins, Texans, 49ers, Titans or Browns today...he'd be the best healthy RB on the team. Rice was the guinea pig in this domestic violence cloud that finally caught the NFL's attention & being obviously black balled is the punishment.

Givens should definitely be starting alongside Akin from here on out & Ross needs to be the guy splitting snaps with Aiken. But non of this will matter unless they get someone other than Doom to rush the QB.
