96 of those yard should have been offset by a holding penalty on Dallas's o-lineman, but I get your point.

I'm a Harbs fan, but this team is among the league leaders in penalties. Someone is responsible for this.

If we don't blame the head coach and the players don't work hard at good discipline, then who do we blame?

  2. What I want to watch is how many penalties we have this game. The fact that we have so many is proof the players are not respecting the coaching staff or the game plan. They are just out doing their own thing, despite what the coaches have to say. No respect for the head coach in the locker room! It's this type of stuff that gets a yeah coach fired in the NFL!

Just no discipline! Great job #72!

  4. So if we should not call him a bust this year, what happens if he hurts his knee again in training camp next year? What would his label be at that point in time? I think the problem is every team and fan expects the first round draft pick to help make an immediate impact and that is not what has happened in this case. I can feel Harbs frustration, its like hiring a new employee and paying them a great signing bonus, just to have them never show up for work because they keep calling in sick (or hurt in this case). I just hope he does not become another Jadeveon Clowney, who is a total bust for the Texans.

  5. I think the main problem here is that when a team uses it's #1 draft pick for a player, the team and the fans expect the guy to come in and help make an immediate impact on the field. The issue here is that he has never made it to the field at all and its related to a PCL sprain (what we were told) and since the majority of fans have access to the internet they can read that a sprain is not always that bad. It's not like the guy tore his achilles or his MCL, he sprained his PCL. Then when fellow teammates and fans see a guy like Brent Urban tear both of his biceps and within the same season return to the practice field. Yet when Perriman try's to run one time during warm ups, he hurts himself again. I just believe that when you pick a guy in the first round, that comes with a lot of expectations by both the team and the fans.

I am a huge Raven fan, but I wonder how fast we would have seen him back on the field if he stopped getting a paycheck until he started playing?

  6. My point Mom Gene is that no matter if the player is a vet or a rookie, we should be looking at what is best for the team. The idea that Perriman has taken a spot for 8 weeks now, should show how committed the team was to him. Since my other posts did not make it to the screen, I will have to repeat what I was talking about is the difference between injury and heart. Most every NFL player has some type of injury, yet it's their heart that gets them back onto the field. All I need to say is Steve Smith and back injury, yet he was still on the field. I understand if he can't make it onto the field because of his medical past, but when does the team see his heart and his desire to make it back not the field? When does the team cut their losses and move on with the rest of the season? How long do we keep him on the roster and miss out on putting people out there that can help us win? I respect what the kid has gone through in life, but where is the line in the sand for the entire team. Remember there is no "I" in team and what you keep saying is "I" and not team. I think that is why people are upset with what has or has not been done with him.
