  1. why is it that what seems so common sense to us, is so obviously beyond understanding when looking at Pees' play calling during game time? Is he just closed minded or does he know something we don't? I don't care what NFL DB you have, press man with no safety help on Torrey is a no-no... And you chew out Wright for it? Do you also Chew out Mosley when he got LIT UP against Cleveland's TE? C'mon now, i don't care how many millions these guys get paid, EVERY PLAYER will have a weak and exploitable area. It is good sound coaching that will put his players in a position to win and overcome their personal vulnerabilities with team help. This is why you must keep the finger pointed at poor coaching. You are still learning Shareece, so you don't just leave him on an island - especially in that situation with no help. This is also why you don't go into the 4th QT of EVERYGAME with a chance to win (3-5 pt margins) and come up with L's. That's just Bad Coaching 101.
  2. I still have hope for shareece wright ... only problem is that i have zero hope for PEAS... anyone with an 8th grade education knows you can't play a speed guy like Torrey w/o having a Saftey over top. the whole league knows that CJ Mosley suffers against the pass... and yet we don't see adjustments. We see musical chairs / but we can't even blame this years' poor DB play on injuries... the one man we expected to be out the door (an aging Webbie) is actually playing the best / so odd... it's just like SSSr, who is the smallest, oldest and most injured of our WR's and he's killing it). I'm not saying our Defense is a Bentley (when it comes to talent), but we definitely have an Audi... and with the right driver, we could be looking much better. We need a better driver behind the wheel.
  3. We've had great memories with these two, and like most have already written - cap made it difficult to hold on to both. Oz wasn't sleep behind the wheel, with the 1st pick of the draft he went and got a speed WR (which is very unlike him, however he knew we needed that speed). As insurance, he got D.Waller - a huge 6'6 project who has 4.4 40 speed to learn from SSSr, and compete against Aiken, Brown, and Camp. You just can not predict injuries. A healthy O-line (with Monroe not going out early week 1), our run game would not have suffered due to the terrible play of James "Worst" Hurst... You get Perriman (who we all expected to be healthy) to play a big role with SSSr, and Aiken... and then you have the already good play of our TE's and instantly you have a solid offense. Perspective people... We would have built a solid offense with youth and for cheap, which is smart with SSSr planning retirement and the young guys (Waller and Perriman) with a good year under them and ready to take bigger roles. (And this is just the offense... the defense needs a new coordinator.... we have too much talent to have so many out of position players and horrible technique and discipline on that side of the ball).
