  1. Before we knock old receivers just remember the alternative is a corps made up of practice squad/camp bodies like the one we have now. Brandon Marshall and Andre Johnson were available for peanuts a few months ago.

Top 5 studs don't just fall out of trees so if you don't have one you sign someone who used to be, we've had modest success doing this for years, Mase, Boldin, Smith etc.

This really makes me mad. We've had so many chances at signing Brandon Marshall but we pass each time and all he does is ball out. I really wanted AJ as well. Thought there was a good chance we signed him because it was such a typical Ozzie move but obviously it didn't happen for reasons I would love to know.

  2. So Flacco's deep ball accuracy took a hit in Madden 16. Not sure what the numbers look like but every time BP is wide open on a 9 route, the ball goes 10 yards out of bounds even when Flacco plants his feet. I like to do PA all go online and this play used to be money to Perriman but now it's not worth it. Also, our WR's outside of SSS can't catch a cold. I mean they'll be literally wide open and still drop it. Even Dennis Pitta has let me down more than a few times. I started to play with Green Bay yesterday and their WR's not only catch everything, but they spectacular catch everything as well lol. Going to give my Ravens a break for online play :( it really hurts me to say to say that, but our offense just isn't reliable in Madden at the moment.

  3. Of course I want a win but I see us finishing at 5-11 which would put us in the top 10 of the draft, possibly even top 5. We aren't a bad team this season, so if we draft well, sign/trade players well and come back healthy next season, we should be looking good. I never hope for a loss, but man, I would love to see Ozzie work some magic with a top 10 draft pick again.

  4. its not neg after neg its reality. Camp has shown to be a "playmaker" and once he gets the injury bug behind him he could go on and have a great career. don't you want that to happen here since we drafted him? He is a great value player since he is on his rookie contract.

Of course I want that to happen but I'm skeptical that he can be healthy. I'd love to be proven wrong so we will see.

  5. No reason to get rid of him yet. We can keep 90 players on the roster and Campanaro is hardly making more than any camp body that we'd bring in. If we get to the cut down date and he's not healthy, then yes, he could be gone. It makes no sense to cut a player on his rookie contract unless he does something stupid off the field.

He will compete for a roster spot in the offseason but I think Ross and Givens move up the depth chart if (hopefully) Steve Smith and BP are healthy and we add one or two more vets. Then at that point I could see no need for Camp.

  6. Na they would do an injury settlement and do it now if that was their plan. He will be here. Teams cut players due to talent not injury. Otherwise everyone would get cut because everyone gets injured..

He's only played 8 games in 2 seasons and while he's shown flashes of potential we could get a player of equal value who doesn't get injured as often in free agency or the draft.

  7. Welker didn't do anything his first 2 seasons in the league. Its a 100% injury sport. Everyone gets injured. This was a 3 week injury that sent him to IR because of Periman..

This is why Campanaro will be here for a long time!

Wouldn't doubt it if he's let go this offseason. Dude can't stay on the field and we need receivers that can

  8. I loved it when Ray would tackle a HB and then tell him..."Get off the field!" lol! Most greats are trash talkers. In the NBA, it has been said by many players that Michael Jordan was one of the biggest trash talkers ever. I even remember him shooting a free throw with his eyes close and saying; "Mutumbo...this is for you!" Of course he made it! lol And even Reggie Miller said that 10% of the trash talking he did was for his opponent and the other 90% was for him. Wow! Love it! lol

Totally agree! I love those kinds of players.
