If he plays like a Raven I'm all in. the tape suggest he has an elite skill set.
He does, on and off the field. High character kid. He's definitely near the top of my wish list for this years draft.
Definitely getting a Yanda and then a Tucker after he signs an extension.
I think the concern people have is that it's less he's healing slow and it's more or less a desire issue. That seems to be the common underlying complaint.
Maybe, but that's purely speculation. All I know is he's injured and he hasn't been a disappointment to me, but I could understand some fans' frustration for sure.
While it's fair to bring up White and Fowler as comparisons for Perriman, I ultimately find these comparisons weak since these two suffered season ending injuries and were known and expected to miss their rookie seasons. Perriman suffered what should be an injury that takes a month to heal if that.
That wasn't my point though. I meant that the players themselves shouldn't be called disappointments because it's not their fault and nor should it be BP's fault that he's healing slow.
I wouldn't call him a bust yet but I would call him an extreme disappointment so far.
Based on what? He's injured and is apparently a slow healer. His injury is disappointing but how can he himself be a disappointment? Is Kevin White or Dante Fowler a disappointment? When I think of a player that's disappointing I think of Matt Elam or Marlon Brown.
Thats generous
It is generous but there's no way we should be below the Cowboys.
That also might depend on who the QB is. We have our own QB and CAP situation to worry about next year. I think it gets just as interesting around here.
I'm sure if Ozzie wanted Alshon he would find a way to sign him but so would the rest of the league which is why I said it's just a dream at this point lol. Still hoping BP could be Alshon and much more though!
Been watching a lot of horror movies on Netflix lately. The Human Centipede 3 was absolutely awful (what else would you expect?), Kristy was pretty good, nothing great or groundbreaking but it was solid, and Last Shift was really good in my opinion. OK plot, good scares, some twists and turns and solid acting.
Watching him last night with Cutler? I doubt he goes anywhere... unless he gets #1 salary... I just don't see it here.
I doubt Cutler stays in Chicago after this season though so does he really want to go through growing pains with a new QB?
What makes people think we have any shot in hell of getting Alshon Jeffrey? The guy plays for the Bears. It's the same as saying I want A.J. Green or Calvin Johnson or even Mike Evans...
I doubt he re-signs with Chicago unless he's franchised because of the mess going on over there. There's the Trestman connection as well (if that counts for anything) and he'll be a free agent in the offseason so Ozzie can at least put a bid in. At 25 years old he would be the perfect guy to grow with Flacco and BP but it's just a dream. I think he has a better shot at hitting the free agency market than Green or Calvin ever had.
I like it. I don't see any problem with VH3's size as he's nearly identical to Revis and Haden's stature. Dude has a legit chance at being a shutdown corner in the NFL and even though I'd still prefer Ramsey I would love to take VH3 if Ramsey was picked before us. Nice mock.
Ozzie, stop drafting WR's, in ANY round. Sign or trade for proven veterans. This BP debacle is getting extremely disheartening.
Ozzie better have a plan to get Ramsey if he neglects the FS position in free agency because we can't go into next season with Kendrick Lewis starting again. Do we have a shot at signing Nelson, Weddle, Berry, Thurmond or Gipson? If we signed one of those guys, I think it's safe to say that Ozzie would take VH3 in the draft.
Love this signing. He should be promoted as soon as possible and placed before Mostert.
The focus shouldn't just be on one side of the ball but both. Nothing wrong with having an explosive and prolific offense along with a stout defense.
I hear ya, but I'm waiting patiently for both lol, especially the explosive and prolific offense. We've been spoiled for a long time with our stout defenses.
I stand by my statement that he should never draft a WR early again, I like Breshad as a prospect. But I'm not sure I'll be abe to trust him to become healthy, just do your FA trade thing Ozzie, you got Boldin, Mason, and SSR out of it.
I don't like the idea at this point of going in with Perriman/Givens(maybe)/Aiken as the top 3
I agree with you 100% and then some. Big fan of BP but it's getting ridiculous now. What if he gets the common cold? He'll be out for a season at this rate. The lack of communication between Harbs and the medical staff is maddening as well. Time for Ozzie to work his magic in the trade/free agency pool this offseason when it comes to WR's. Hello Pierre Garçon, Vincent Jackson and Roddy White.
The Ravens love patch work.
Wish Ozzie would decide this teams identity once and for all. It's evident that it's been defense since Ray retired and Ed left but a few bad drafts and bad free agent signings have put the defense in a bad spot. He's neglected to give Flacco a competent supporting cast since 2012 and for that reason is why we're left to signing Joe Morgan and Chuck Jacobs. Going into the 2015 season with a 36 year old SSS, a rookie WR with raw talent and a journeyman in Aiken wasn't the greatest idea.
This is getting ridiculous. Can we just Draft Treadwell or Boyd and move on?
At the expense of VH3 or Ramsey?
Harbaugh is hopeful that BP can play the last 4 games of the season.
I just want ONE WR who can grow with Flacco and is not on the downside of their career. Steve Smith is amazing but he is not 29. I hope he can be the guy.
Yes! I really want BP to pan out and then we can sign all the vets we want lol
Pleaseeeee practice this week and be a situational deep threat against Jax
Thats why i stated next season. I think givens is a good number 3 that you can count on every now and then for a good play, i see him like jacoby was for us, but a little more involved. Im hoping Ross shows something to give us some hope, he just needs more reps. All that being said, i dont see any scenario that would give me confidence in BP, Aiken, Givens, Camp, Waller going into next season...i still think its a sure thing we sign a vet WR like ive been saying.
I assume you mean Alshon? I would disagree saying thats a typical Oz move, he doesnt normally trade for a player thats going to command 10 mill a year
No, I meant Andre Johnson.
Ha. Well, even then, it's a wash this season...
Yea, the only people who put some of these other QB's in front of Flacco only judge numbers by fantasy football, I swear lol.
On what are you basing that? Madden? "Potential"? Media hype? In real life, I'll take Flacco and not think twice.
Fantasy football lol

Been seeing a lot of drafts lately sending Ramsey to Baltimore but we pick in the top 5 in each one. Is that where we need to be to have a shot at J.R.?
