Can we sit Joe for the rest of the season please?
I was actually thinking very seriously about this. Would hate to see him get seriously injured in a totally lost season. Also, if we start Schaub, we're pretty much guaranteed a top 5 draft pick. Hell, maybe even the first lol. But I just couldn't see the Patriots benching Brady in a down season or the same with Green Bay and A-Rod and it's not like Flacco is playing like Peyton Manning. Harbaugh probably still thinks we have a chance this year.
And it's Ozzies fault that Perriman has a faulty PCL. Now I understand. Smh
Never said that. Just his history of drafting WR's is abysmal.
Three headed monster!
I think Baltimore ends up picking 3-5 and ends up trading back to 7-9 and walks away with one of the three :
Hargreaves
Ramsey
Stanley
I could see and like that but what else would we get? An extra second or two?
WR,,,, please,,, we can always draft a good defense .
its offense we have a problem with , if we are top 5 trade back stockpile some picks,,, get a true #1 ,, parlay a couple of those picks into the future,,,
I no longer trust Ozzie with drafting WR's. Would rather just sign a proven vet even if they're north of 30. Flacco has success with those guys anyways.
Givens and all of our TE's are the only ones that I really care about and look forward to seeing these last few games.
Can't go wrong with any of those guys but we need a FS badly so I'm taking Ramsey.
Rams are trying hard to get into the top 5 to get Goff. They are just trying the throw their season putting in Case Keenum.
What? They're 4-5 and second in the West. Foles has been awful and if McCown and Bortles can beat us, then Case surely can. Plus their defense is nasty.
I tend to stay away from overthecap.com, but I couldn't help but notice if Kendrick Lewis were to get cut post June 1st, we would save $800K. I know it ain't much, but I'm so done with Lewis at this point.
Lewis needs to go. We need a playmaker at FS, BADLY
I liked this comment on PFT, brings up a pretty good point. The NFL could correct the call by erasing the FG and giving us the win, 20-19 but that's wishful thinking.
A few people seem to be confused by this. Had the false start been called, the play would have been blown dead. So the sack/facemask would not have happened. The play never would have gotten underway.
Then – with the 10 second runoff the clock would have expired.
Here you have a clear chance to correct a mistake. The victory can in fact be awarded to the Ravens because there is no further plays that would have happened.
I'm surprised you have the stomach to read PFT comments
I'll just wait (and pray) for Pagano.
I really like how Flacco doesn't sugarcoat anything. He specifically said that the team wasn't good enough to finish games whereas Harbaugh keeps ranting about how hard the team practiced and played and they'll just get better every week. Dude, this is the worst season in Ravens history. Make some changes here and there and prove to fans that we're not going to see the same product every single week.
Let's get Peyton Manning too while we're at it to be the OC. And Ed Reed as secondary coach, Patrick Willis as LB coach, Jamal Lewis as RB coach and see if Jerry Rice wants to be the WR coach to join our all star cast of positional coaches.
Had a hard time deciding between the Barnidge catch and the atrocity we saw yesterday but I had to choose Elvis on one of the dumbest plays ever. And it's always a good feeling to beat the Steelers especially at their house ![]()
Only game left I can see us winning is at the Bengals only because they will probably rest their starters lol. Does 3-13 get us the top pick?
OK - but that's a serious list of assumptions.
True, but this WR corps really needs an overhaul. It's getting ridiculous at this point.
Something else I want to say: We don't need a bonafide super star WR to get the job done as evidenced by our recent Super Bowl run. We just need reliable targets that Joe trusts with a variety of possession and speedy deep threats. Our TE's are promising, now mix in some playmakers on the outside and our offense looks dangerous.
The thing is - are we going to be able to go out and get an entire receiving corps in the offseason? Who do you propose we keep if we're dumping Aiken? I know he's nothing to write home about, but he's better than the rest of the lot.
Well assuming SSS comes back and BP comes out of the Twilight Zone, we'll have those two, hopefully keep Givens which gives us a third, Camp gets healthy and comes back for depth and we sign a solid vet or two that hits free agency or is cut or spend a first round pick on a WR since it's becoming more evident we'll be picking from the cream of the crop in this years draft. The WR market will be solid in 2016 and I could see players like Garcon, Vincent Jackson, DeSean Jackson and Roddy White being released and I'd love to have any one of those guys.
Aiken probably wouldn't be bad in the slot. But Ozzie and Decosta needs to start evaluating WRs in the draft asap. Going after old (aside from SSS), journeymen, and UDFAs will only hold this team back.
Agreed about journeymen and UDFA's but Ozzie has been money with older vets and Flacco seems to like them a lot more than the young guys because they're more reliable and experienced. I'm about to lose all trust in Ozzie and company with drafting WR's.
Givens, Aiken(cheap depth. It's needed), and Perriman(Who deserves a chance) can stay. We need an overhaul.
Yea, forgot about BP lol (it's kind of easy at this point) but I disagree about Aiken. Would not like to see him back at all.
Ed Reed would've picked that ball to end the game and ran it in for a touchdown just to gloat. We need this back on our team.
Truth be told....every single ravens receiver aside from SSS is garbage. Release them all!
Not Givens. Everyone else can go.
Well at least we lost to a Bortles led Jags team and not a Gabbert led Jags team
.....oh, wait
Like I said in the game thread, can't do anything but laugh at this point.

On topic though, I'm really excited about seeing West.
