  1. Here I am just waiting for a competent supporting cast for Flacco like he had in 2012.

      That offense was underrated.

That offense was probably the best the Ravens had ever had and it'd still probably rank middle of the pack in terms of skill or talent if the Ravens had it now... Just speaks volumes to Joe's ability.

  2. Hard not to be excited for our 2016 draft class. Call me optimistic, but I think each rookie could be a starter in the NFL with the exception of Moore (solid deep threat but needs a lot of work). Also, Maurice Canady's demeanor is compelling. He looks up to Sherman.. let's see if that chip on his shoulder can take him to the top.

Yea, good point. But as long as everyone stays healthy, we look formidable on paper. Nice combination of old and young and we added fast pieces to the puzzle, especially on defense.

Chris moore is actually a sudden fast route runner

He's a little stiff in his routes though from what I've seen (at least in college). He's made some excellent, contested catches at minicamp though. Seems like a tough, competitive guy. He's a Raven so I'm wishing him all the luck.

  3. Bold prediction: Mike Wallace will have over 1,000 yards receiving this season!!

Joe SHOULD throw for more than 4000 yards. SSS, Speedy Wallace, Hopefully a Healthy Pitta, Gillmore, Watson, Forsett and Allen are both good pass catchers as well. I don't see why Wallace can't have a 1000 and why Joe couldn't go more than 4000 yards.

I hope you're right, but I just don't see it.  I think Joe has a great year.  But w/ so many targets, I see him spreading the ball around for any one receiver to have 1000+ yards.

True, but him and Flacco have been on fire in camp. You know Joe likes to have that one guy he throws too (sometimes forcibly), i.e. Boldin, Smith Sr., Mason, etc., plus Senior shouldn't be the workhorse this season.

  4. I really took having Boldin, Torrey, Jacoby and Pitta for granted :( I miss all of them

they did not get the chance to build off what they did in 2012. Boldin was Flacco's best weapon

It still irks me to this day that we traded Boldin. I wonder if we kept him if Torrey would have given us a hometown discount instead of joining the 49ers.

I surely miss Boldin. Gilmore is helping me live without Pitta. 2012, Joe had some damn good weapons. I really wish we built off the group we had.

  5. Your time has come, Kamar. Make me believe.

His time came weeks ago, he's a #4 WR, nothing more, can make a few plays but can't get open consistently. A #4 WR is currently our #1, that's our season in a nutshell

It's just getting sad now. Hopefully BP comes back for the Jaguars game so he can be our number one.

Doubt BP will be the #1 in his debut. I reckon he'll be eased into the rotation. Kamar is at least a #3 in my eyes. Now Joe is forced to spread it without his safety valve, I think Aiken's production will increase a bit (he's currently heading for ~50 rec, ~700 yards and 4-5 TDs).

  6. Would be nice to have a Monday Night home game for once.

Last time we had a Home MNF game was 2012, we won the Super Bowl that year. So maybe there is a conspiracy to ensure we don't win no more Super Bowls lol.

  7. Love Flacco's reply to Ryan Mink's question regarding what happened after he signed his new contract: "I went down to the basketball court and showed Mike Campanaro and Kyle Juszczyk a check that they've never seen before."

so do I, I think he will turn out to be a good pass rusher

    2. Winchester

      Winchester

I liked him and hate to say it but he is a big straight linish dude that seriously struggles to change direction once he is moving. His game strength is not what his frame suggests. And nfl tackles will ride him wide of the qb all day. His inside moves will be useless on nfl tackles.  He may make the practice squad. When it comes to defensive ends the ravens really missed the boat with Spence. Actually should of traded up for Hunter in previous draft. I'm not a fan of him or ochi. When is last time a round6 pick or undrafted player posted double digit sacks as an edge rusher??

  9. What's with the gold teeth trend going on at OTA's?

been a trend for years.. alot of it starts in high school

  10. Personal trainer at my gym in California saw me in a Ravens shirt and stopped me to tell me that she was a personal trainer for the team from the start of the franchise until 2011. She said Sugar Ray, Reed, Bart Scott and Heap were all great guys. Really cool.

  12. What an awful day. Never met Tray Walker but it feels like I lost a friend. Going to miss seeing you by Coach Harbaugh during the National Anthem. May you rest in peace.
