  1. Not interested unless he can give us some 2013 production and then some. Ross and Patterson would be a nice duo on kick returns but he's not any better than the WR's we have now and we need a significant upgrade in that department.
  2. What if Alshon decides to sign elsewhere in the offseason though? We would only have him for the remainder of this lost season and be without a couple of high draft picks. I really want Alshon, but it'd be better just to wait till the offseason to try and get him because if we traded for him, there's no guarantee whatsoever that he'll re-sign.
  3. Ravens would only trade him to be nice at this point because we won't get back any substantial value due to his age and recent injury and of course his desire to retire after this season. Of course if we did trade him, Kamar would be the number one which is something Ozzie would be fine with so that means we're almost a lock for that #1 pick in the draft. I really hope we revamp the WR situation in the offseason and persuade SSS to come back as the 2 or 3 for some unfinished business.
  4. Is there any realistic way that the Ravens can sign Alshon in the offseason? It just seems like the perfect fit. With SSS retiring, we desperately need more playmakers on offense and I'm assuming that Trestman stays so it seems ideal for him to recruit Alshon. Not only that, but we don't have to worry for a big time recieving threat for quite some time since he's only 25. I don't trust Ozzie at all in drafting a superstar WR. Flacco has shown that he's the man when he has a competent supporting cast. Imagine if he had Alshon, Breshad, Maxx, Gillmore, Boyle, Givens, etc, and what if we could even get someone like Hankerson for cheap? No more journeymen. No more tall WR's that play soft and have butterfingers. GET THE MAN SOME WEAPONS!
  5. That's why I can't wait for him to take the field
  6. Breshad is insanely good in this game. He will burn everyone and makes contested catches. Hope it carries over into real life lol
  7. Sicario was my favorite movie of the year.
  8. Good point. I'm just not interested in having Lewis here anymore. We need a true playmaker at FS to pair up with Will Hill. If we draft Ramsey, hopefully he could solve the crisis and maybe we could be in the market for a Sean Smith or a Prince Amukamara and cut ties with Webb unless he excels in the slot.
  9. LOL @ anyone wanting to dump Flacco. Give it a break. He's OVERACHIEVED this season and has put us in position to win every game despite some dumb turnovers which were probably due to him trying to make something happen without a competent WR group behind SSS. Blame Ozzie for that, not Flacco.
  10. Why not move Webb to FS if we draft Vernon or Jalen?
  11. Waller is a beast on ST, we need to keep him. Out of all of the WR's on this roster, I would only keep Waller, Ross, Breshad (obviously) and Givens next season assuming SSS retires. Campanaro is always hurt, Marlon has butterfingers and no speed, and Aiken is a journeyman with no real value. Ozzie needs to totally revamp the WR situation this offseason.
  12. We should've been serious about adding Mike Wallace in the offseason because Torrey Smith's speed is obviously missed. Wallace and Breshad next season would've been deadly. I just really hope that Ozzie doesn't count on Perriman to save our WR dilemma and will add another playmaker if SSS retires. I would pick up one or even two in free agency next offseason because Marlon and Kamar are not starting material and the oft-injured Campanaro is not dependable. The market will be pretty solid.
  13. Agreed. We've been in each and every game this season. I've said it before and I'll say it again: this team needs playmakers on both sides of the ball. The defense needs some attitude and the offense needs some reliability and speed. It's sad when the number threes on some teams like the Bengals and Packers could be our number one. I'm actually really excited to have a high draft pick.
  14. Kamar Aiken should NOT be the number three heading into next season. That's what happened this season and when SSS went down, our WR's looked like a hot mess. Kamar can come back as the number five AT LEAST. This team needs playmakers on both sides of the ball. If I was Ozzie and the cap situation made it possible, I would double dip at WR in free agency by throwing money at Alshon and try to get Percy Harvin or Leonard Hankerson for cheap. The WR market this offseason is pretty solid. Flacco needs a competent supporting cast like the one he had in 2012 with Boldin, Torrey, Jacoby and Pitta. Our current situation is laughable and pathetic and that has to fall on Ozzie's shoulders. Get the man some playmakers!
