  1. Don't be surprised if Aiken is that guy
  2. True. I bash him a lot but I do have faith in Camp. I like your avatar by the way lol
  3. I do too, hope he stays healthy because he's been really good when he sees the field.
  4. Flacco isn't going anywhere regardless of if he restructures or not but I trust he'll get it done. Ozzie needs to be wary of who he hands out long term contracts to because Pitta, Webb, Rice and Monroe have really hurt us with the cap. If someone is oft-injured or has had a major injury and is up there in age (Webb/Pitta) has a bad or nonchalant attitude (Monroe) is regressing (Rice) or doesn't play like a Raven, you don't hand him a huge contract. If he wants to test the market, fine, let him test the market. If he comes back with his tail in between his legs, give him a one year deal to prove he's worth keeping in the long term if he's similar to one of the players above. Some of these contracts handed out over the years have become maddening. It's like we're making friendly decisions instead of business decisions and now we're in cap hell.
  5. This is a really questionable signing. Please, please, PLEASE tell me what's wrong with finishing the season with Renner and Clausen. I don't want Mallett anywhere near this organization, let alone in a Ravens jersey.
  6. I'm beginning to think that you're Michael Campanaro......
  7. Lewis at FS again would be a disaster
  8. Seriously. Start Renner. Clausen is a serviceable backup but Bryn could surprise people.
  9. Him, Bosa, Sizz, Doom, B-Will, Jernigan and Upshaw (if we retain him) would mask a lot of our secondary issues if we wouldn't add anyone in the offseason. If he's there for us in the second, I don't see how you NOT take him.
  10. Regardless of who's at fault, I think it's time for a change. There's no way you can defend Pees putting his corners ten yards off of the WR on 3rd and short. I'd love to hear an explanation for that.
  11. Hello second round pick!!!
  12. He did, but there's still a very slim chance especially if we lose out. Would really like to see Tunsil in a Ravens uniform.
  13. I dont mind picking at 4 or 5, but I don't mind being greedy either picking at 1 or 2 lol
  14. He rarely gets seperation and I have yet to see him break off huge gains with his "pretty good RAC ability". Keep in mind that he has never had a 100 yard game recieving. If you guys are fine with mediocrity at the WR position, then fine. But I don't think he's a viable number three WR in the NFL. He's being force fed the ball.
  15. We're not going to have the best WR corps in the league but we can surely do better than Kamar Aiken as the number three.
  16. Agreed. I'd be beyond excited if Boyd was there for us in the high second and with us more than likely losing out, it just increases our chances of moving up in the draft. That first overall pick is still very much in play so we could be picking two first rounders.
  17. Well I wouldn't put him on the outsides. And the fact that you said his hands "aren't even that bad" proves that his hands are not great. I'm tired of these practice squad WR's that offer nothing but cheap contracts.
  18. Because having suspect hands, being slow and having no RAC ability makes a good slot receiver huh?
  19. Agreed. I thought it was bad news when he came in to this season as the number three before BP went down, then I laughed when he became the number two, and now look where he is. We can't make this mistake again.
  20. KO is versatile and could be our answer at LT. Flacco needs to be protected at all costs and if we can retain KO at OG and draft Tunsil or Stanley, Joe will be a VERY happy QB. Re-sign the man!!!
  21. I would let him walk but I don't think Ozzie will. He's been force fed the ball due to a lack of offensive weapons and his numbers are being inflated. I'm fine with him coming back as the 4, but he should never be put into a starting role. I look at the WR corps for the Steelers, Bengals, Cardinals and Packers and cry every time.
  22. Teryl Austin should have been our DC even if it was a one or two year rental. He's a defensive mastermind but Harbaugh just can't concede defeat with the guys that he picks as coordinators and it really hurts us. As long as Pees is here, we will remain a really bad defensive team.
  23. I have no doubt in my mind that Aiken will be kept after this year. However, it shouldn't be at the expense of true playmakers, specifically those who can stretch the field or have RAC ability. And we don't just need one of those guys, we need two or three of them. I could see us going after DeSean Jackson, Mike Wallace, Vincent Jackson or Roddy White as they will all be potential cut casualties and I can also see us targeting Brian Quick, Travis Benjamin, Rueben Randle or one of the guys from the Bengals as UFA's. Heck, I'd even look at Nate Washington. We don't need a superstar bonafide number one WR, but Joe needs a competent supporting cast. We have the RB's and TE's in place, now Ozzie has to stop going to the bargain bin for bandaids.
  24. The next Jordy Nelson
  25. Just realized that Adrian Peterson tore both his ACL and MCL like Joe on December 24th and came back the next season to not only start the first game but to get MVP. I was a bit worried that Flacco might miss some time next season but now I'm totally confident and less stressed after remembering the AD incident lol
