  1. Heaven forbid, what just happened. The RAVENS tries every way possible to give it back to the STEELERS but they must not have wanted it. Again with stupid penalties but at least there were no INTs and that was in the RAVENS favorite. Congrats RAVENS for sweeping the STEELERS in 2015 despite a losing season! FEEL GREAT. The way we played today shows we should have one hell of a good team next season even without a #1 pick in the draft. Get healthy first teamers because next year, even your backups can play!
  2. I think the Steelers can be beaten "IF" our Ravens DON'T commit any stupid penalties, make tackles when they should and not give up YAC, don't give up the big pass plays, keep the run game to a minimum and put Big Ben on his butt a few times to remind him there's an opposing team! I'll be watching online from down here in Ocala,FL hoping for the best ..... I don't need to see another blowout, especially against Pittsburgh.
  3. I am really disappointed that these players who are paid so much money keep making the same old "MISTEAKS" week-in and week-out ...... fumbles, pick 6's, dropped passes, missed tackles and let's not forget stupid penalties, you name it, they've done it. If I did that on my job, how long do you think I'd be employed? And why do they wait until they're down 14 to 21 points before they start playing football.
  4. Well, let's look at next year ..... assuming our starters are all healthy, even their backups will now be battle tested, a few GOOD draft picks and we should be SB LI champs!
  5. Personally today's loss was all on Matt Schaub .... period; Two picks and 14 points! If I were HC, I'd bench him.
  6. It's tough winning games when you have to start out Opponent 7 vs Ravens 0 before the opening kickoff thanks to Pick 6's and then have to put up with bad calls by the refs. I've been a Baltimore NFL fan since the Colts in Memorial stadium won the NFL Championship prior to Super Bowl I. I have never seen a single QB throw so many pick 6's in my life. It's almost to the point where the opposing teams can count on 'em weekly!
  7. Die hard fan here in Ocala, FL. I watch every game right here at home by streaming them via the internet; laptop to my big screen TV. Gotta love technology! I keep pulling for my team despite all the injuries which are in ridiculous numbers this year. As for the O-line, not sure what happened other than the change in O-coordinator. I didn't like Tresman in Chicago and was really disappointed with the choice coming here. Gotta do better.
  8. A few top-5 draft picks could gets us some more speed at WR preferably with the ability to separate and good hands, maybe another young, promising backup QB, and a couple speed rushers on the outside. It wouldn't hurt to have another really good CB WITHOUT a propensity for making "PI" penalties.
  9. Let's not forget Forsett's injury people. Yes Joe has been fortunate to this point with as many hits as he has taken over the years. Remember that both Brady and Manning already wear knee braces so they've had their share of hits too. Now let's just pray Joe and everyone else on IR can make it back for next season!
  10. IR is full up ....... Defense is getting better but still too many "stupid" penalties especially the "PI" penalties. The offensive play calling is just that ....."OFFENSIVE." Tresman didn't do well in Chicago and it looks like he's carried the same program to Baltimore. Joe Flacco hasn't had any tools to work with this year due to the number of injuries ...... now he'll get an unfortunate rest. There's also been a lot of talk aroound the league about Jeff Fisher's teams dealing out injuries. It would be interesting to tally those up between his years in TN and MO.
  11. I really don't think Gurley's rushing will hurt us ..... but his ability to catch out of the backfield plus a total lack of any secondary defense will most likely produce another loss. What I foresee is multiple pass interference calls against Jimmy Smith that'll cost us big yardage in penalties. You can't be giving up PI calls in the red zone and can't present the opposition with a short field and not expect them to score.
  12. When is this team going to wake up and realize that all these losses are due to their own inabilities to catch balls, not fumble, cease and desist with the stupid penalties and start playing like a team. These guys are making premium salaries compared to the people in the stands yet they continue to play like high schoolers! Perhaps if their performances were tied to their salaries, things might be different. Instead of guaranteed money, use incentives. Every week its the same old story ....... penalties, mistakes and miscues! Are they intentionally seeking the first pick in the first round of the 2016 draft?
  13. Just read an interesting article about our turnover disparity with Carolina who is undefeated. Since I've watched every game thus far, I've noticed that tackling in the secondary has been sloppy. Seems our CB's and Safeties like ducking at the knees instead or wrapping up. The results are lots of YAC when they miss which is quite often. Perhaps if they tried wrapping up to tackle and punch at the ball, we might get a few more turnovers in our favor which could've resulted in a few more wins.
  14. Well, let's see "Fire Everybody" ...... my guess is that includes the owner so I can only surmise you want the team gone! NO THANKS ...... Been There, Done That. I've been watching the NFL for nearly 50 years now and a few things I've noticed. #1 They call it "Home Team Advantage" for a reason; the "zebras" seem to concur. #2 The "Zebras" also seem to call an inordinate number of calls AGAINST the teams with weaker records. I guess they didn't notice the defender pushed Gillmore prior to going up for the ending INT. Questionable calls will happen because the refs are only human but in many cases video review may remove a lot of that human factor. I personally think the Ravens hurt themselves with penalties, slow starts on offense (seems they don't get invigorated until the 4th quarter), they don't have the killer instinct, they need a speed wideout and a stronger, faster pass rush. Just my opinion!
  15. Run defense seems to be above average but the secondary ..... they just need to learn how to work together and TACKLE.
