Trade down. Grab another 2nd round pick and take Taylor Decker.
I like Nick Kwiatkowski, West Virginia. Plays like a Raven.

I also had the same surgery, its not an issue as you said. I don't think hes a bust by any means
What I got from the article is how his skill set does not fit in the pro style defense.

It's worse than that Grim. Read the comments
Does Vernon Gholston come to mind?
All Jack had was a torn meniscus in his knee. No worse than a broken toe. Repaired with arthroscopic surgery. I had it done myself.
Jack will be a bust:

I'd put it this way: Bosa, Mack and then Ramsey in this order in the draft. If Ramsey is a shutdown corner he is worth it. If that be the case I'd leave him at corner and not mix the pot too much moving him around to safety.
Ozzie is best at evaluating defensive players. Along the way it seems the Ravens decided to go for more offense especially on the O Line which IMO has worked. Unfortunately there has been a rash of injuries. Without that I believe things would have been fine and we wouldn't be talking about this. I'm even more excited about next season especially because our young rookies got much needed playing time and with ANOTHER good draft like last year this team will be set for a few years. it isn't easy to replace 2 top 10 draft picks from the past with rookies and one year players.
Look what happened to the Patriots after 4 - 5 key injuries. lost 4 of their last 6 games and fell out of the top seed, squeaking past the Chiefs and losing to the Broncos in the playoffs.
Ravens would have beaten the Patriots and went to the Superbowl last year if not for a depleted secondary. Not bad I think for a team that keeps missing on draft picks and quality free agents. Ugh?
I can't believe this thread even exists.
No worries with Cincinatti. OC Hue Jackson went to Cleveland. Why he would go into the Great Abyss of Cleveland is beyond me. He won't be a factor.
Pittsburgh is another matter. Every receiver they have runs the 40 in 4.2 seconds. Big Ben, in my opinion, is always phenomenal. Tomlin is a defensive coach and will eventually get the defense back on track. Like some said they are only a couple secondary players from being a shutdown D.
All other teams shouldn't be a tough go if we can maintain a reasonable health status. Even beat up the Ravens out played many of the teams they lost to.
Ted Marchibroda should go into the Hall of Fame as the most accomplished offensive coordinator in NFL history. He single-handedly turned every offense he ever touched into a greater than respectable squad in the NFL. Lets look at the quarterbacks that owe him. Billy Kilmer, Sam Wyche, Bert Jones, Randal Cunningham, Jim Kelly, Jim Harbaugh. Not to mention the head coaches he carried and taught, Marv Levy, Sam Wyche, Jim Harbaugh come to mind.
Ted perfected the hurry-up offense being used in New England now.
Better play at the safety position and SPEED at wide receiver.
That's in each round too.
Have you ever seen a DC get hired as a HC on another team, get fired, and then go back to the original team as DC? I can't say I've ever seen that happen. Not only would he have to be interested, but we'd have to move on from Pees. We'd also have to decide how many of his position coaches he can bring with him, etc... It's a wet dream conjured up by bitter Pees haters and hopeless romantics. Too many variables if you ask me.
Pees is just completing the last year of his contract so it is possible if Pees retires or Ozzie lets him go. I don't think he will be let go so I'd say Pagano can come back as a secondary coach with a much higher title so he can be paid more like we did for Steve Spagnuolo. Spagnuolo, like many other released head coaches, accepted a position coaching job until something better come up.
Baltimore hired Spagnuolo as a senior defensive assistant before the 2013 season, then promoted him to assistant head coach/secondary coach in 2014
We need a punt returner. Keeps running into his own blockers
Does anyone think wagner can play LT? If he can, and if Jensen continues to play lights out, then maybe we see a line up of wagner, urschel, zuttah, jensen, yanda? Only one person there hasn't been proven at their position and we know harbs likes to shuffle the ol
I think Yanda can play left tackle. He should have stayed at right tackle and been the backup for left tackle but too late for that. I agree with you in this case. Wagner is young and could play LT for years to come. Yanda may only have a few more years and would fill in admirably @ RT.
I'd love to have him back as a DB coach, but I see him getting plenty of HC offers. And if he somehow doesn't get another HC job, there's no way he gets hired as anything less than a DC.
Could be but how long did it take Spagnuolo to get back to DC. Also Hue Jackson just got back to being an OC. Ravens could bring him in as assistant head coach / defensive assistant or something like that and when Pees retires move him to DC. Ozzie can pull it off.
If Chuck Pagano is fired Harbaugh should hire him back as the defensive backs coach. Best DB coach in the NFL.
I think he thinks: “Well our fans are a little spoiled … but it could be worse… could be the owner of one of the other 26-28 teams who miss the playoffs most of the time!”
Amen.
And you're blaming deflategate for this???? Holy Cow.
:-- ))
Harbaugh has to go. I'm convinced the NFL executives blame Harbaugh for inflating Deflate Gate. You can see with the calls. Ross was down before he fumbled. Johnson was down, his forward progress was stopped. That was not pass interference on Fitz by Web. Maybe we can get a good draft and bring Harbaugh back next season but will the NFL execs forgive him in that time?
Dean Pees & The Heartbreakers
My favorite. Simple, short, sweet and speaks volumes.
We have had Pees here since 2012 though and I don't recall any high profile assistants coming in and making any major changes this year. In 2013 it was Caldwell's first full year at OC and we brought Castillo in to work on the O-line as well.
Interesting. Defensive line coach Clarence Brooks received a game ball from Harbaugh after he win against Pittsburgh. What did Harbaugh give Pees?
Clarence Brooks. Then get a good secondary coach.

Ozzie's inability to retain highly drafted players is not his fault. When a team wins ALL the players want a raise and he can't pay them all. That being said I am glad for the way Steve Bisciotti is handling things. Trying new things while keeping the basics the same, continuity. I feel confident in this organization going forward for a long time as long as Bisciotti owns it.
