And alcohol. Gotta have alcohol.
Good thinking!!! Better check to see how much I've got on hand......
According to Carl Everett, there were no dinosaurs. Anyone remember that weirdo? lol
I can't stop listening to this cover. David nails the haunting quality of the words.
Wow, that's awesome. The best cover I've heard in a long time.
Getting ready for Red Dawn baby
Wolverines!!!!!!!
I'm just not a fan of open world games that leave exploration as the main portion of the game because there is way too much I want to do
That's a major problem with this game. I've hardly done any of the main quests. lol
I have not modded a single weapon, it seems like the weapons I have are already modded and when i try to do things to them, there are no advances.
A lot of the weapons you find will have some mods on them. You need to level up "gun nut" for ballistic weapons and "science" for energy weapons to see the better mods. Some weapons might require both perks.
Yeah I remember fallout 3 and I played New Vegas. This is worth every penny just by the amount of time and development they did on the game and landscapes etc
Modding the weapons was a great addition. Also, I don't miss having to repair weapons and armor.
Just got this game for my birthday... Oh boy
ok so wednesday I rented it then sunday I bought it with christmas money
.......
Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
Good luck in the wasteland!!!!
Lol, I'm sure my wife isnt happy. I play after the kids go to bed, usually 9pm -1030 ish, the problem is, you get into a 1 quest or start exploring and that time flies by.
I just decided to do the Castle mission with the Minutemen, even though I probably could have done it a long time ago.
Hey lobster, that's what fallout games are all about......exploration. Just running around and finding random "happenings" are some of the best moments in these games. Most of the time they're better than the quests. lol
I've never played fallout.. Having a hard time getting the feel for it
I've played every one of them, so it's second nature for me. A little background.....
It's set in a world where we never moved on from the 50's culture. But, technology did "move on" as there are laser and plasma weapons. Also, a lot of robots running around. In Oct 2077, there's a nuclear war. The games are all set about 200 years after that. They involve "Vault dwellers". A company called Vault Tec set up bomb shelters called vaults before the war happened. The games are more about exploring than doing the main quests. It's a very interesting world Bethesda has created. I really like the universe they made, so I really like the games. Hopefully you'll really get into also.
Hasn't this season been ugly enough already??
50 hours in and I am officially burnt out, also my girlfriend is mad as hell
Burned out after only 50 hours? Light weight! lol
I'm more than twice that, only getting started....
I'll get to it eventually now lol.. Friend works at fye had a deal going on.
Got battlefront and new borderlands pack for cheap
So fallout will come sometime
Battlefront looks pretty awesome. Fallout is definitely worth getting.
Where'd you get it from? Don't tell me you got in on that Dell sale ?!?!? I tried and couldnt get in , in time.
Got it at a local game store. At the time, it was a Microsoft deal, the price was the same at all retailers. Not sure if that changed or not....
Just got a Ps4 couple days ago.. First console I've owned in almost 10 years
Gonna buy this when I break open the ps4
Excellent first choice. I got the xbox one / fallout 4 bundle. No regrets whatsoever!!
Yup, Found the power armor as well. I have been trying to play late at night after my girls go to bed but I spent over an hour yesterday building stuff in sanctuary. lol
I've got over 10 settlements now, I know how you feel about building.
1 holding call in 454 attempts? Something doesn't seem right......
several game reviews have said that the xbox one drops frames but that was prior to the Windows 10 update so looks like I will give it a shot
I've noticed a couple drops every once in a while, but nothing drastic. Definitely not a deal breaker.
Just started playing it on PS4, just got to the minuteman mission. So much exploring to do and so little carrying capacity!
Did you find Dogmeat yet? He's got a strong back..... lol
ok anyone playng on xbox one ? I need a review if its worth it or wait till some more patches come out?
Yes, I'm on xbox one. Haven't had any problems. Have you read that it's glitchy? Guess I got it about a week after it was released. So there probably were some patches already.
Definitely try Psychobuff! Great in the hot situations. Love the verbiage too!
I haven't done the settlements much. I should. Easy way to level.
Tried the psychobuff today. Made short work of that room.
Very potent stuff.....
OK, next time I play I'll make some phychobuff and give it a try. Probably could have used that in the battle I had with a savage deathclaw.....
Building up the settlements is pretty cool. It's a nice addition to the game, building stuff is actually kind of addictive.
Nope, haven't tried psychobuff. I could make it though. I've got over 50 hours into it so far, and just got to Diamond City. There's just so much to do. lol So I haven't met many of the companions yet. I've basically been running around building up settlements and doing the minute man quests.
This game is AWESOME!! Definitely pick it up!
This game sets the bar. It's better than Skyrim, which I loved playing that game.
I played Fallout 3 and this game picks up over its shortcomings.
Better dialog sequences. You get to see your character talk (i.e. Mass Effect). You definitely feel connected to your character and the other characters you meet. AI is smarter. They will go look for you.
Yup, I agree! I like it better than Skyrim too. I was starting to think I was the only one on this site playing it. lol
You're right, Fallout 3 and New Vegas were great, this has improved on those.
Do find it odd that they got rid of the karma system....
