  1. McDaniels does not jive right with certain personalities and being able to get along with the troops is an important trait. I am not saying Harbs should stay or go but whoever is going to be taking over for Ozzie needs to make that call. Harbs could be on the bottom of the poll when it comes to making big decisions so maybe he is not entirely to blame.
  2. Would you really have any faith in this teams draft ability even if we did tank for a high pick? We fight on and for gods sake put Mallet in if Joe's injured! Anythings better than an injured Joe and the same excuse every time we lose "If only Joe was healthy"
  3. If what they say about Eric Decosta is true and we have been paying him GM money all of this time to stay on board hand over the reins and make Ozzie retire. I would say let him make the decision regarding Harbs and see if this fixes some of these stupid contract and bad draft decisions. If not in a few more years we can clean house completely when the time is right. In the meantime something has to be done and poop always rolls down hill with this organization so I suspect they fire Harbs before Ozzie retires. I would like to see Harbs under a different GM assuming that GM (Eric) thinks he is the right man
  4. Got ripped to pieces by the "experts" for pointing out the stupidity of the Watson and Hester signing. Where those experts at now? Time for a new era of Ravens after this season goes down as another disaster. I don't have any idea who is responsible for these huge contracts that never live up and too many years to count of poor drafts. I don't care if its Ozzie, Eric, Harbs, or all of the above but in the real world when you perform this poor at work you are gone. I always loved watching the Ravens win or lose even when our Offense was horrible because our team still had heart with our fired up D. Joe's a family man, Super bowl mvp, and one of the highest paid players in the NFL so he doesn't lose any sleep if we win or lose along with all of the other dead weight we signed to huge contracts. I would rather watch us lose with Mallet scrambling around our horrible o line fighting like he did last year. Compared to seeing an injured Flacco come in and do what he did today... I think this is the last year Steve puts up with this suspect good ole boy fire Trestman and blame him for everything club we have running things
  5. Very hard to believe someone would throw away millions for what appears to be smoking the reefer again. He was on his way to being one of the best in the league... Cherish the opportunities you have while you are young and save the partying for retirement if you still wish to partake.
  6. Very good point and off road dirt bikes obviously need to stay off the public roads. They are obviously not equipped with lights and standard visibility safety features a street legal bike would have. Treat this huge media situation in a positive light by bringing attention to the issue that caused the tragedy and maybe others will be saved from it. I know its currently illegal to ride non street legal dirt bikes on public roads obviously but people need to be reminded of the reason why sometimes.
  7. Very sad, could have easily been prevented unfortunately. Hopefully we use this in a positive light to teach kids and some adults not to ride dirt bikes on the street at night (especially with no helmet, lights, and wearing dark clothes).
  8. So far a 35yo tight end at the end of his career signed to a 2 year 8m deal. Ozzie is at it again same as last year building a team built to lose
  9. Do you think that maybe the reason he has finally put up big numbers at the end of his career has something to do with Drew Brees and the fact he lost Jimmy Graham (didn't have anyone else to throw to). Ever notice how 100% of the players in the NFL put up bigger numbers right before a new pay day is coming. Of course New Orleans also played against a ton of soft defenses last year? Another bone headed move by Ozzie and all of you thinking this was a good move were thrilled about the Foxworth contract as well I guarantee. Ozzie has a history of falling in love with bad to mid level talent players with good character and way overpaying them
  10. 8M for a 2 year contract for 35yo Watson? If that doesn't sum up this thread I don't know what to say... Check out the guys stats since 2004 and try to convince anyone with a clue this was a good signing. We could have easily picked up someone with his ability for a fraction of this price if we waited. So far all of the sports writers outside of the Bmore propaganda machine are scratching their heads on this one. If you think this was a great signing make sure you take a look back at this move late next season
  11. 8M 2 year contract for a 35 year old tight end that had one strong season knowing his contract was up? For anyone questioning if the Wizard still had it this will yet again prove to everyone he has lost it. If your going to throw that kind of money on an aging player at least go with Boldin. Zero chance this guy will pay off just check his stats since 2004. We could have easily picked up a similar aging tight end for a fraction of this price if we waited. So far I have not seen anything to show this team is going to be any better compared to last season
  12. I strongly suspect a similar situation of new setbacks and injuries will appear next season. I hope he proves me wrong along with the rest of us that see it this way
  13. We stick to the best player available philosophy no more desperate WR gambles. The old lady is a die hard buckeye fan so I have been forced to watch about every o-h game and Joey would be the best player if available at any point in the top 5 it appears so far. If that changes we still have 2 or 3 strong top 5 options
  14. Like many others I didn't believe this was true... sounded like some anti Ravens propaganda. With that said it is pretty pitiful... you admit your mistakes and limit damage control to 1 year. With all of these close loses with a few free agent moves and a top draft we are back in it again next year. In the meantime I don't want to see Harbs go but this preschool stuff has gotta stop. We are nothing more than our record shows and a effort sticker is useless. How many of you receive effort sticker rewards when you fail at work?
  15. More like mounting poor draft picks are taking their toll
