  1. I think not everyone we drafted will have a guaranteed spot on the team seeing we made eleven picks this year, but there are plenty of interesting guys and I'm sure it will be tough come August We're loaded at RB and TE, plus we've got nice options at the O-line. I hope someone can fill the (huge) shoes of Osemele and we'll be back to being a tough running team. And when we can run well, we can pass REALLY well. Also, how many WRs will be in 53-man roster? Defense-wise, I think a lot of people already mentioned that a good pass-rush helps a lot the secondary play, so I think we're going to the right direction. I think I'm one who hoped we could get Cyrus Jones on the 3rd round. Seeing him going to the Patriots was tough :,(
  2. YEAHHHH Matt Judon!
  3. awww was cheering for Burbridge! Hope we can still get a good ILB (Wright?) by the end of round 4.
  4. Chiefs took forever to call those picks, at least we're back now hahahah
  5. I'm cheering for us to get a good ILB (Joshua Perry, Scooby Wright), and also WR Aaron Burbridge. There's OG Vadal Alexander who'd be good for depth too. The one thing I wanted was us to get Cyrus Jones in the third round, but the Patriots went for him in the second :/
  6. C'mon guys, it's not always about getting the flashy players the media is hyped about. Remember Ed Reed was "Solid, but not great" back in the day. Think about it, we're not rocking on the draft selecting pro bowlers but we're assembling good teams, and we're one of the few teams that's been competing in the playoffs every year since 2008. In 2014, we had 4 pro-bowlers despite having a good overall season, but it's hard to think that Smith & Smith weren't a great WR tandem. There's a lot to like about the 4th rounders from last year, Z. Smith and J. Allen. Pernell McPhee was in the 5th round back in 2011, Pitta, in the 4th round, Arthur Jones, 5th round, Adalius Thomas, 6th round. In Ozzie we trust!
  7. I admit I was in the M. Brown bandwagon early in the year, and it's funny because I haven't fully given up on it yet, but still, I'm happy Kamar Aiken has been the making the most of his opportunity. Stepping up, that's exactily what we need! We need this solid guy because for next year there isn't much certainity for our wide receivers group: I'm not sure Marlon comes back, Campanaro and Perriman are talented, but they need to show they can be reliable, we don't know about Steve, and Butler and Daniel are being evaluated at the moment.
  8. We'd do better analysing first, because he's very valuable at Left Guard, but if he successfully moves to LT, we could play Kelechi Osemele, John Urschel, Jeremy Zuttah, Marshal Yanda and Rick Wagner. I think it's vital that we keep him! I agree with you, sometimes it feels like we're having coaching problems.. Timmy Jernigan and C.J. Mosley aren't living up to the high expectations they've set last year, not to mention the blown coverages (can't forget recently-signed Shareece Wright on a one-on-one against Torrey Smith...). We still had big flashes from both Offense and Defense and we should have a lot of optimism for 2016, we DO have a lot of talent on D specially.
  9. Our tight end gruop was a strength and now we have none of the three avaible right now...
  10. if the refs had stopped for 5 seconds to check the replay they would've seen it was a phantom call on Daniel Brown.. We need to score more, we clearly had more yards, first downs and all, but we lacked TDs. Nice to see another game down to the final seconds. We shut down Miami's offense all day, specially in the second half. It was already clear we'd be out of playoff contention, but seeing this team fighting for the win is always good.
  11. Here's hoping Marlon Brown can turn it around!
  12. The NFL just handled this wrongly. I think the video evidence helps to get the attention of people: look how one cared about Hardy's problem until now. The problem is that not every case has video evidence, and we should not just focus on the suspension and the fines: we should focus on the rehab. Take Josh Gordon who is on his 10th suspension or something, where's the progress? just being punished all the time is apparently not helping. For me Rice is the example of someone who aknowledged his mistake and fought to be forgiven. He was already deeply sorry before the videos came out, and the leaked images just made things a lot worse.
  13. We also had a pretty decent receiving corps last year, and we were a few plays away from the AFC championship. People often say that the defense and the run game carry Joe Flacco, but these aspects are the one we usually invest here: we don't draft offensive playmakers withing the first three rounds frequently. That's just the way our team is usually built
  14. I have a lot of faith that our young tight end group will develop nicely, and Justin Forsett is a good back. We're one wide receiver away from having a talented skill-position group, next year we match Perriman with a proven receiver and Smith Sr (if he plays....). I like Aiken as our #3 or #4, not #1.
  15. Givens has been targeted a lot in deep passes, that's good for Joe. I hope the bye works out good for us and Flacco can develop routes and chemistry with these guys. Gotta coach Brown back to catching footballs. (and Perriman returning from injury would be cool...)
