For those that think the Ravens will have a top 5 pick, they are wrong. If the Ravens do get a pick that low Ozzie will trade it back to a team in the teens or twenties.

If the Ravens do end up with one of the top five picks I'm sure Ozzie with trade it back for more picks. That is his MO. If that happens I hope they make better picks then they have recently. Make sure the person being drafted in the first round has not had ANY prior injury or health issues. The Ravens have to start drafting smarter. Look how well the Bengals have done in the draft the last few years.

This team will probably qualify for the 3rd or 4th pick in the draft. I'm sure the Ravens will trade back for more picks. They need to do a much better job of scouting. Can't afford to take anymore players who have had an injury issue in college. This team should also look at changing defensive and offensive coordinators now. They will surely not be here next year, so why not get an early start. The Ravens need to improve the offensive line. The defensive line is not too bad. That is where I believe good teams start building, the lines. It will probably take 2 to 3 years before this team is back into contention for a title. Remember when they came here in 96. It took 3 1/2 years of smart drafting and filling in holes with quality free agents.

I've seen this defense before. Reminds me of the 96/97 Ravens. Couldn't hold a lead in the 4th quarter. We had a fairly good offense then but a weak defense. Will probably take a couple of years to get this sorted out. That is if they do a better job of drafting.

The team needs a shake-up. Dean Pees should be removed now. There is no question there will be coaching change next year, so may as well get an early start. If you consider the pre-season this team is 1 win and 9 loses in the last 10 games. The Ravens have shown in the past they are not afraid to shake things up. Maybe this is the message the players need.
