Dak in the Dallas system is better than Flacco in our system. If you kept coaches and rosters the same but flip flopped QB's, I don't think you'd be saying that
Man Zeke is special. Never gives up, never loses yards, always keeps them legs moving.
We can talk about the defense as much as we want... but 20 pts to a team averaging 29... The real question is where has the offense been??! 3 points since the opening quarter.

Tavon too small. Dez would have had no problem coming down with that ball on Tavon.
Cowboys offense is clicking... watch out.

The defenders were in the proper positions to make plays on those big catches, and just failed to. Can't blame that solely on Pees.
When your offense is struggling, go for the long ball against Wright. Never fails.
Good:
- Defense is playing at a high level.
- Regardless of the results, we ran the ball 34 times!!!
- Suggs looked good last night getting after the QB.
- No huddle offense looked nice. Might need to incorporate that a bit more. Get some rhythm going.
- SSS antics, the mannequin stuff, Suggs... We are getting some swag back slowly but surely.
- Back atop the division!!
Not so good:
- First half offense. Dreadful.
- Joe's mind numbing interceptions. Rookie stuff.
- Red zone offense. Can't seem to find a way to punch that ball in.
- Injuries to the offensive line.
- Penalties are still hurting us.

You're on the money with your predictions lately. You predicting we go 1-6 to finish the season is probably a good thing.
Just keep handing the ball off Joe.. please!

I had thoughts of Joe throwing a pick as I read this...
7 minutes ago, trevorsteadman said:They have drafted safeties... Elam and Brooks didn't pan out. Elam still has a chance here but he has limited time to impress us. Would be nice if he does so we can move Weddle to FS and cut Webb for cap savings or have him be our #3. I still like Kendrick Lewis his injury was unfortunate but he is talented and a smart player.
Right. But it's a position that still needs to be addressed regardless if Elam and Brooks didn't develop as expected. Weddle will be 32 next season, and Jimmy will be 29. Both are still playing at high levels, but are key positions that we need to start developing young players to take over soon.
Webb, Lewis, Wright, Dumervil, and Arrington all need to move on.
I've been calling for him to start over Wright since early in the season.
Great young defensive talents in Young, Mosley, Jernigan and Orr.
Now draft some safeties and pass rushers.

He should. Unless he's super in love with the city. But the Raiders are a really good team with a really good chance to make some noise,

It really all depends on what the fan base is use to. Browns fans are use to being awful. Ravens fans have higher expectations.. Higher standards. I live in NE... If the Pats dropped 2 in a row, the roof would cave in. The fans get stressed when they win by single digits.

Right. Plenty do. I'm the first to admit he's been pretty subpar the last 1.5 seasons. But I also know he's not going anywhere for quite some time. So it's up to the coaches and Ozzie to put Flacco and this team in the best position to succeed. That means the right players on offense and defense.
2 hours ago, Sami84 said:actually when judon sacked geno smith and injured him i said..its over now..fitz will win the game for them.
Agree. I said the same thing. That was actually worst case scenario.
5 hours ago, Sami84 said:lol yeah i remember that..
Joe's joe..he's awful but sometimes you have to find ways of winning with bad QB"s..
Like we've been successful at doing for 6 of the past 8 seasons.
Facts... Ravens are 4-0 when Ronnie Stanley lines up at LT. Let's make it 5-0.
Camp will come up limping after his first punt return. Keep him away.
The defense seems so much more in control with Mosley out there. Great to see him back.
Pitta has been struggling as of late. Started the season well though.
6 minutes ago, Sami84 said:can anyone sit here and say, looking at this schedule that this team has shown it can beat the teams left?
You had this game as a loss.. Every week is unpredictable man.
1 minute ago, Sami84 said:the offense was awful today. aside from that 1 play to wallace what did they do??
They outplayed the opposing offense.
Thoughts...
1. Defense is top notch. We desperately need to get to the QB more though. Ben had way too much time on a majority of his throws... Just sitting back there scanning the field. That puts way too much pressure on our corners.
2. Even though are run game was pretty awful, I'm happy we stuck with it. Don't care how productive it is, just keep handing it off. Be consistent.
3. Red Zone offense still needs work. Left too many points on the field in the first quarter.
4. Too many penalties. Rough first game back for Stanley. But regardless, happy to have the o-line all healthy and working together.
5. I called fo T.Young to get the start early in the season after Wright was getting torched. Glad it's finally happening. He's small, but he plays big. He has energy and speed... Things we need.

Lol. You're so upset they won it's comical.

The good:
- That first quarter TD drive.
- Overall run defense.
- The pash rush in the first quarter.
The bad:
- Overall offense. No fire. No urgency.
- The pash rush after the first quarter.
The Ugly:
- The penalties.
- The overall secondary play. Dak was throwing darts all game.
