  1. Webbs lack of speed is too obvious
  2. If the Pats beat the Steelers and then we beat the Jets... we are tied at 4-3 atop the division before our showdown at the Bank after the bye... Followed by a home game against the Browns. One week at a time. Let's get the o-line back. Let's get SSS back. Let Marty keep improving this offense. Get Elam out there to help out in the secondary.
  3. Positivity.... - Bengals are 2-4. - Steelers will be without Ben for acouple weeks - We are one game out of the division lead - Offense looks like it will keep getting better
  4. Agree. I'd make the same calls if I were Harbs. Only problem is we've been saying this for several weeks now. Those "if's" are working against us. For once, we might want to play it safe and resist the urge.
  5. They are old broken down pass rushers. I would say let them sit and go with the young guys... but they aren't real bright spots either.
  6. Well... I don't know what to say anymore.
  7. Again.. Perspective... We've been a middle of the pack team for all of 1.3 seasons. 2015 was the first season under Harbs where we weren't playoff contenders. Bad season all around. A lot of blame to go around there as well. Injuries didn't help either. So far in 2016, some issues have been corrected, but there are still some things from last year that are still biting us on the field. This is where Harbs needs to right the ship. We are 3-2 with a tough schedule coming up. New OC coming on board. Let's see how the rest of the season starts to play out.
  8. Let's not over do it now. 8-8 (had a chance to make the playoffs up until the last game of the season) 10-6 (beat the Steelers on the road in the playoffs) 5-11 (injury plagued season) 3-2 (remains to be seen)
  9. Harbaugh has had one losing record in his 8 year tenure. His leash is much longer than most think. 1-2 losing seasons isn't going to get him fired. Given that, he does need to get it together with some of his questionable decisions out there. Too much overthinking. A lot all depends on how much control Harbs continues to have in the locker room. Once players stop listening, then the conversations will start. I don't think we are near that point yet. Pees has been doing a great job with the defense this year. I do agree that we need to get some of the younger pass rushers out there, and not depend on Suggs and Doom when they aren't producing pressure. Hopefully the light bulb came on with Wright. He has no business out there on the outside. Keep Young or Powers out there and take it from there. The LB'er play has been stellar. Also content with the Safety play. We do need to address the future of this position in the draft this summer though. Flacco.. Oh Flacco... Unlike some, I'm a big Flacco guy. Love him. Overpaid? Sure. But Ozzie put a price tag on that Super Bowl trophy and Flacco delivered it to him. We have to accept that and move on. It's not going to change. But as a veteran, he does need to improve his game. Too many rookie mistakes out there. Partially to blame is the awful playcalling, awful hands by the wideouts and lack of protection.... But it doesn't take away from the fact that Flacco needs to be better. And now. Keep feeding T.West.... and don't stop! Perriman has struggled, but I do believe he'll improve. Can't give up on him.I believe he's going to be very good sooner rather than later. But time will tell. SSS needs to get healthy, and Aiken needs to be involved more. We need quick reads, and aggressive shots down field. Wheres Mike Wallace been? These are things Marty needs to figure out ASAP. The playaction deep shots are usually Flaccos bread and butter. We need to get back to that. Once Stanley and Wagner are healthy, I think we have a solid group here. But of course, neither seem to be. That seems to be the story of the season there. The o-line also needs to be focused on during the draft.
  10. I'm sure he knows that. But negative comments that are sure to cause a stir are just a way to deal with losses and the frustration of Sundays. We all deal with it differently.
  11. So what happens when Wentz is done with his rookie contract and is due 25+ mil per season based on the QB market? Trade him and draft another QB? Rinse wash repeat?
  12. So.. In your perfect world, we fire Harbaugh. Sign Mcdaniels as coach. Trade Flacco and draft a QB in the first round. ... ? Or is that Sami who loves him some Mcdaniels. Get the 2 of you confused sometimes.
  13. Young is a better option at outside corner. That's not to say Young is built for the outside, it speaks more about how bad Wright is.
  14. Same here. Thomas has been heavily criticized throughout his career for his tendency to drop passes.
  15. Still believe in Perriman. It's the concentration he needs to work on, and that'll come with experience. It was a nice catch actually just needs to get that foot down.
  16. Jimmy and Young on Odell. Keep Wright off the field.
  17. You're entitled to your opinion, and you're probably not too far off from being right. But it's still a long season ahead of us. A lot of other wild card contending teams also have tough schedules coming up. Bills have a tough road ahead. Bengals are 2-3 with a trip to Foxboro coming up. Denver, Oakland and KC all have plenty of division games against each other remaining. Ravens have yet to play the Steelers or Bengals this year. Those are the games that will decide the season. Steelers have NE, Ravens and Cowboys in a 3 weeks span. Their schedule isn't easy as well. And they've been known to drop the easy game like they did with Philly.
  18. I'm sure you've said this at least once in each of the last 8 seasons.
  19. 2012 was higher than a C-. Don't be a clown.
  20. Flaccos job is to lead this offense and do whatever it takes to win ball games. Might not be pretty, but he's been pretty successful at doing so in his 8.5 seasons here. Post Super Bowl, he's had 2 rough seasons in 2013 and 2015 and 1 really good one in 2014. There's plenty of blame to go around. Too early to write this season off... Still a game out of the division. One week at a time.
  21. 2009 and 2014 was the best Ravens offenses since '96. Top 10 in scoring. Not sure I'm following.
  22. We could just as easily be 0-5 as we could be 5-0. Time to move forward and continue to get better. The run game needs to be utilized. The offensive line needs to be stable. The wideouts need to catch the ball. And the defense needs to build off what they did yesterday. Keep T.Young as the starter. Whats the scoop on Marty? Anyone know what type of playcaller he is? Aggressive? Dynamic?
  23. He was the first to get that kind of money, so it shocked everyone and they can't get over it. All my non Ravens fan friends bring it up every chance they get. He's clearly paid appropriately in today's league for what he provides. If Dalton were in purple, everyone would say he was overpaid as well.
  24. Agree with what you're saying for the most part. There's the fan who is always negative like Sami. The fan who spins a positive twist on just about everything, as yourself. And then there's those in the middle I guess. I'm a big Flacco fan. Always defended him and always will. But players like Shareece I get stressed out watching every week. Those are the players I'm quick to want replaced. Forsett had not business on the field. Young should be in over Wright. Webb spent too long as a starting corner. The list goes on. Those are my gripes.
  25. Give the Steelers Perriman and he'll look like a stud. Give us Coates and he'll be nonexistent as he blocks for check downs to Juice.
