  1. FS: Webb/Brooks SS: Weddle/Elam ... Could be worse. Weddle can give you the same product Hill did, if not better. The question becomes is if Webb can be an upgrade over Lewis? Or does Brooks and Webb split time and allow Brooks to eventually take over that spot? Time will tell.
  2. Draft = OL, CB, Pass Rush, and LB.
  3. Aiken is far better than Camp. He'd be great working underneath like Boldin.
  4. Wallace and Perriman stretching the field, while SSS and Aiken work the middle. I like it.
  5. How did Weddle look last year? He's not young by any means, so just wondering if he still has juice in those legs of his.
  6. Weddle is a FS correct? Will Hill played SS for us correct? So what happens with Webb here?
  7. Ok. So I'm sort of hyped up about Jalen Ramsey at the moment. If Cleveland is set on drafting a QB, can't they still get their desired QB even if they traded down to #6 with Baltimore? I'm no draft-trading expert but it does makes sense. No other team, aside from maybe Dallas, would be drafting a QB in picks 1-5. Now, whether Cleveland wants to help Baltimore get Ramsey is a completely different story. I also do not know what it would take to move up from 6 to 2. Assuming a 3rd round pick?
  8. Other positions I get, but I really do hate losing players on the o-line. Chemistry and consistency amongst the line is huge.
  9. "with a record-setting average salary of $21.1 million over the next six years" Again.. I don't get this part
  10. Right. But that's only including the extension. Over the life of the 6 year contract its 20.8. (3 years remaining + 3 years extension) It becomes one new 6 year deal right?
  11. So if his contract with the extension included is 6 years 125 mill overall (20.8 per year), can someone please explain how Flacco is the highest paid player in the NFL when Rodgers is making 22 per year and Russ makes 21+?

  13. We all need to move on from the Lewis/Reed era. We will always have the memories, and the Super Bowl, and will continue to honor all of the legends during the season. But it's time to move on and focus on building the future rather than holding onto the past. Reed in Buffalo makes 10x more sense than Reed in Baltimore.
  14. Nothing wrong with it. No different than a player driving to the basket in the NBA and trying to draw contact looking for a call. You can throw a flag on almost every play. I actually think Lockett could have sold the contact more to draw the flag. Flags change games. Torrey was one of the best at it.
  15. Thoughts and recap.... - Improve the WR depth through free agency and the draft. You need more capable bodies added to Perriman, Aiken and SSS. - Add more pass rushers behind Suggs, Doom and Z.Smith. Young guys. - Webb will probably be the starting FS next season. S.Wright will probably be the 3rd corner. Another starting corner is badly needed opposite Jimmy. - Get the feeling Ozzie is fine with Monroe coming back as the LT. - What happens with D.Smith? That's a tough position to replace. He isn't getting any younger. - Tucker isn't going anywhere - Forsett and Buck should continue to be the 1-2 punch next season. I love Bucks catching ability.
  16. I'm not a big college football guy. Who is a safety that Ramsey compares to coming out? Earl Thomas?
  17. SF and Cleveland are possible teams to take a QB. Are there even 2 QB's worth taking that high?
  18. Nice. Doubt Denver loses. So lets go SF!
  19. So are we set at #7, or does the SF/SD gamed affect anything?
  20. 1. I actually like these uniforms 2. We will lose this game regardless, why is Harbaugh making it easier for them 3. Let Buck play through his mistakes. He's a rookie and we'll need him next season. 4. K.Lewis is awful. I hope this is the last we see of him. 5. Where is Maxx? Can we get him involved
  21. Well neither are going anywhere anytime soon so let's hope they can right the ship rather than placing blame. The draft needs to be dedicated to rebuilding the defense. High first rder to help the pass rush or secondary. Daryl Smith needs to be replaced. Jimmy needs to get it together next season. Unlike most, I believe Perriman will be a good starter eventually. Another starting WR is desperately needed. From where? Who knows. This season included a lot of bad breaks. A lot of bad luck and some dumb game management. In years past it was the opposite. No reason to think we can't fix this going forward.
  22. Recover .. Relax .. Spend time with your family .. And be ready for season opener next year.
