  1. What has me worried is the fact that even though our dline is dominant and aside from B Will & Pierce we are kinda small inside. Well with exception to Lawrence guy (So underrated). This is compared to the Cowboys oline i dont mean in general. The cowboys have been puling their guard a lot to lead the run so i wonder how the ravens attack that. But im very excited to see how our run d stacks up. I have high hopes for our offense against the surprising dallas defense, i hated their safeties but they seem to be doing a good job this yr., actually their secondary in general has been good. Looking at the cowboys offense, i think thats what john harbaugh wants with the ravens, only thing is our oline is beat up and havent had any consistency since kubiak left. They wanted tresman to stay in the zone blocking run game but was probably over his head on how to use it. At least morniweg has been using the bootleg, flacco seems at his best when he can utilize that.
  2. I dont think it was anything against Ray Rice but more of a public image the Ravens are trying to upkeep.
  3. the difference is...kubiak stuck with it and trestman is pass happy and gets discouraged with 2/3 yd gains
  4. oh yeah and everyone saying why didnt we do more in the summer time? I guess ppl forgot about or salary cap situation compounded with our secondary in shambles..
  5. I agree with the greek.... split out maxx williams, obliviously hes not ready to be at the line of scrimmage. We have 3 with a possible 4 if pitta decides to come back. But i noticed when SSS went down last game Joe was forced to throw at the other WRs and look their way, and it worked out. I will always want SSS on the field but maybe is a blessing in disguise that he went down making Joe have to throw it. Also i think marlon brown needs to get his weight up or Tresman isnt putting him in a position to succeed, use him ala Marqeus Colston on the saints sort of like a WR/TE
  6. off to rough starts but and bit of inconsistency but our offense maybe lost 1 out of our 5 losses and it is hard to pinpoint a loss to one thing... there are 90 plays a game, offense defense and special teams
  7. love to see pitta back... more life and health to ya bro...unfortunately its not at TE we need help, although he will help move the chains.
  8. I think everyone has the mentality "oh no dont let me mess up".... i think they are all walking on pins and needles because noone wants to be held liable and get the fingers pointed at them coach has to calm everyone down and just take everything one snap one assignment and one read at a time. its not the ravens of old who can go out there and can be relied upon to be in their spot or adjust will hill needs to be a more vocal leader because i didnt feel the heart from dumervil in his pregame speech (not saying he doesnt have it, it just may not be his cop of tea)
  9. what if minnesota didnt draft steffon diggs in the 4th round.... his presence alone would be more valueable than tray walker
  10. not to mention we've had some bad luck over the years ray rice dead money situation injury plague not that good of a drafting positions and a couple of high draft picks that havent seen the field (Arthur Brown and Sergio Kindle) loosing corey graham hurt us deeply.... i hated the fact that harbaugh said we are a blitzing team...i by no means have any problem with it but i dont like when you write in stone.... things change and you have to adjust against other teams strengths and weaknesses
  11. im starting to think the coaching staff are giving the players to much respect.... treating them like they earned the ravens mantra treating them like they were in the locker room with ray lewis ed reed chris mcalister and those boys.... i think its time to get on their asses like they are rookies.....
  12. i notice some comments bring up matt ryan and the falcons.... last yr julio was hurt and they were the bottom feeders of the nfc maybe the same is happening to us with perriman? he comes back next yr and we start 5-0? lol high hopes
  13. when we lost will davis that is when our defense started to crumble... hopeful that someone can step up in his place... The plan they had with webb in the slot w/ smith and davis on the outside was working great.... i was never a big fan of arrington and only had high hopes for him because i was a raven faithful, looks great on paper but hes struggled, when watching him in new england, the only time he stood out was when he would tackle hard and cause fumbles other than that all memories are of him not doing good... watching wired up yesterday and listening to Aiken speak was kind of scary, he was saying they were jamming him and grabbing him at the first sign of a designed route...I can only imagine its worse with marlon brown because he is bigger and slower...Flacco looked great last week even though he leaves recievers open a bit... our pass rush is wats going to win or lose the game for us... the weaker the pass rush the more coverage we are going to need and that leads to failure and big plays against us.... Zadarius Smith has been asked to do alot and i hope they do not line him up at LB because he looked like a kid amongst boys when in the open field, The defensive calls have improved but i wonder if that was because of the confidence in will davis...loosing taliaferio was huge, he was a great change of pace back, injuries have in places of weak depth and its showing in our record... will brent urban be productive for us? i hope he is
  14. Joe needs to get to the line a bit faster, read the defense and adjust his offense accordingly....i think he should work on his feet when making progressions to many times i see him oblivious to a last second person running up to the line and his throw is hurried. we need to be taking advantage of marlon brown and darren wallers size, if flacco can place the ball at the right spot against shorter CBs it would probably be successful tresman still has alot to prove with his play calling IMO sucks that flacco cant have any consistency with offensive play makers and O-coordinators gary come back!
  15. we shoulda got patterson from the vikings... arthur brown for patterson i think would be a great trade... lol but i dont think the vikings want a LB
  16. "vincent Jackson fits that mold. He also hasn't ever had a quarterback so he's probably underrated. Good size, has some vet experience. I don't see Ozzie making anymore moves anytime soon but one can dream. Who knows maybe he will shock everybody and do something off the wall." I guess Philip Rivers is no one special
  17. tresman.... scobee scrubee or scroby doo (lol steven a smith) just save your @$$.... your plays are becoming predictable camp saved your @$$ with an incredible run on the jet sweep play because i know the steelers were waiting for it the routes you call are taking to long to develop need more play action bootlegs one thing is being conservative and its another being predictable, and your offense tresman is very predictable im blaming this 0-3 start record on tresman than anything or anyone else... luckily we ran in to a steeler team without ben because we would have been blown out if he was there... steelers todd haley didnt adjust to well to mike vick and i think led us to win the game nice to see some consistent push from the Dline but it still worrys me. get waller some more reps and flacco put the ball in a better spot where he can go up and get it
  18. Love the CB idea.... i Melvin might be better on the outside compared to Webb..... although Webb i think is starting to come on.... one of my dissapointments is Kyle Arringtion.... i never personally liked him but when you look at his stats they are really good.... My gut tells me no and my head says yes when it comes to Arrington.... Flacco you need to be more decisive with your read unless its tresman calling too many plays where routes take long to develop.... i think that may be part of the problem, some of the routes take forever to develop because lack of speed at times, and if you cant get it to them you dump it off the the backs, which isnt flaccos favorite thing to do.... he use to do it with ray rice but not recently.... if we ran the ball or had better play calling i think we would be in better shape.... overall i say we made a mistake by signing tresman but its to early to say that....
  19. as big of a flacco fan I am, I wouldnt put the blame on the receiving corps. Looking at a lot of the plays Flacco's progression read was a bit slow or just locked on to one receiver.. i wont consider this in the denver game because he had absolutely no time to go through possesions... Flacco's feet needs to improve i think as well i see WR's open on plays he forces it to Steve Smith because he only looks that way... Marlon Brown should be a quality top 20 WR ....
