  1. Well the refs will never be disciplined unless Kraft says to. Look on the bright side there are only 9 games left to think about. If you take them individually there is only 9 days left in the season. 1 more week to go until the bye week and that could be very exciting. Guaranteed we won't lose, but maybe there will be changes, probably not.
  2. Yes John I know we will win again, if not this year then in the next. No "hay in the barn" for the horses this year so they are starving just like we are.
  3. All I know is that the Ravens team this year is done. Guess what we will be hearing tomorrow? We will, we can, we need to change, we will keep fighting. Hey Harbs, I need to find something else to watch on Sunday. I hope when you play next week you will be ready for the boo birds, and rightly so. The Ravens are an embarrassment to fans and city of Baltimore.
  4. My wife made a comment during the game that the Ravens look confused on defense and inept on offense, if it is that noticeable to someone that has very little football knowledge, I can only hope that it is that noticeable to our Coaches.
  5. This is a tough game for me, the only thing I can hope for is a game that is like 57 - 45 Ravens, not practical, just hopeful. The reason is I have Palmer, Fitzgerald, and Brown on my fantasy team. I hate games like this. But I will take a Ravens win first. I know it is a different subject, but I can't control what this team really does, so I am going to sit back down a couple of cold ones and watch a football game on Monday night.
  6. Again we hear, we have got to fix this, get better, execute, same old same old. First you have got to have something to fix before you can fix it. I don't know what game Harbs was watching but if that is hustle at the end of the game he should watch other teams game film to see real hustle, that was a fast walk at best. The interception that Flacco threw directly to the 9er player I think was a what's the use throw. Don't give me the crap about not being frustrated, you need to be frustrated we are.
  7. I bet the Cardinals are licking their chops waiting for next week already! I bet they already have deep pass plays circled on their play books.
  8. I am willing to bet the Cardinals are licking their chops and can't wait to play us. Thankfully I have Carson Palmer on my fantasy football team.
  9. Ok what Ravens song are we going to hear this week? We have to finish? We are! The defense has to play better? They didn't! Here we go another week of we should have, could have, and don't panic we just need to put it all together to win. Put what together? You have to have something to put together to put it together.
  10. Like I said yesterday, Suggs has probably played his last game as a Raven, start working the phones and see if someone is willing to pick up his salary and trade him, or if they are willing to give us several draft picks, then trade him. That should go for just about everyone on the team except for players we should not part with. I would rather see the practice squad on the field then some of the players that look like they are just going thru the motions to pick up a pay check.
  11. I agree Greek, if it an "L" Sunday we should start making deals, I would also include Suggs because he is older and maybe someone would be willing to part with draft picks for him. I bet he has played his last game as a Raven, but do not trade away draft picks for rental players, let's see what we have in house, practice squad included.
  12. I got an idea, let's let Flacco call the game from the huddle maybe that will improve our chances. If you don't like Trestman then why don't we try something new. I got another one, why not play up tempo, that will wear out the opponent's defense, again it would be something different.
  13. As much as I hate thinking about the playoffs fading slowly away from us, they probably are. On the other hand, the comment about trading Flacco, and allowing Shaub to QB makes me want to grab a six pack now, and 1 - 15 could possibly be in our sights. Keep Joe, play the remainder of the year with the personnel we have, don't trade draft picks for rentals, but see if we could possibly trade for draft picks. I seriously doubt that Suggs will be here next year, so see what you can get for him now, even though he is injured there may be a team desperate enough to do it for their future. Start the rebuilding now, see what kind of players we have on the practice squad, if they don't pan out trade them for draft picks.
  14. I truly believe some of the "Ravens fans" here are either Steelers or Patriot fans in disguise. There is a lot more into running a NFL team then a MLB team. Trades in the NFL are a little more complicated then MLB trades. You never hear a MLB has to learn the play book, just the pitchers on opposing teams. Jason Babin hasn't played because he needs to learn the playbook on defense. If we were to just plug him in and tell him to do the best me can and fails, you would want his head on a platter as well as the dumb coaches that stuck him in there. Am I frustrated, yes, but I am a Ravens fan no matter what the weather is.
  15. I think we should let it play a couple of series just to let him run the route and maybe use him as a decoy. That may keep the Bengals off balance and open up other routes for the receivers and Joe. Also that will give Breshad a chance to see the speed of the game and then turn him loose on Thursday.
