  1. If he was averaging like a sack a game as a rookie. There is no reason double digits aren't on the horizon. He worked hard with Dockett but this year he cleaned his eating up. As Harbs is pushing for that as well as training programs for all players. Something that was always missing from Focketts training. A leaner body definitely results in speed and explosion. As much potential as he has, Henry has more raw skill. He just has so rare burst, bend, leverage and closing burst. Jernigan and Henry could be a devastating tandem
  2. Not training him this yr but he has Watson and Campanaro. Watson knows far more than Dockett and will Show him nutrition is as essential as training itself.
  3. He is trained by the recently retired cardinals defensive tackle and fl. State alumni. Heard he works him til he vomits lol. While I'm not for that it shows he works him!! I'm for hard training, but you have to be smart about it to. Ben Watson works hard without getting sick. Runs a 4.6 40 at 35 yrs old and 258lbs. And as far as I know the most impressive specimen in the nfl that can be confirmed natural. He is a brilliant pick up and I'm not for signing older players. He was fanatical about training/nutrition back in college. If the young talented players learn from him and work like him then ravens struck gold in this draft!! The receivers can learn from Campanaro who is fanatical about improving as well. Everything is in place to have young players up to speed by playoff time. Dixon is a willing worker as well. He has the goal of getting his speed in the 4.4 range. He took it very personal when one scout projected him a 4.6 . He is aware speed is needed to lead the nfl in touchdowns and have an opportunity to score every time he touches the rock. Ravens young players have talent to work with and have the desire to work and get better. And that is the difference in great player and mediocre player. Lane Johnson and Joeckel came into the nfl athletic but needing power. Lane has tacked on 16-20lbs or so of muscle since being drafted at a lean but underpowered 302lbs. Joeckel is pretty much the same. The result is Lane is on the edge of being recognized as the one the league's dominant tackles while Joeckel is about to be a backup player. Lane and Joeckel are a poster example.
  4. If he tweaks his body for an edge rusher position, he not only can but he should be an impact player. Maybe not on the level of a hall of fame player like peppers. But nonetheless a feared edge rusher and a freak of an athlete for 6'6 280lbs. I would say he should be as great as Jared Allen. After he cuts 16-20 lbs carefully his play speed will be 4.75 at the least. He can carefully tack on 10-14lbs of functional muscle without losing any athleticism and arrive at a leaner faster more explosive 280lbs that is athletic enough to drop in coverage. He bends very well for a 289lb player and he has long arms and knows how to use his hands and body although he could and will be better in that department. His vertical will get to about 33-35". His broad very close to 10' which would indicate better lower body explosion. His 3cone sub7. He will be very similar to a prime Julius peppers and a top10 edge rusher among 43 defensive ends and 34 olbs. And a pretty freakish athlete. And Ben Watson is going to help him get there. With his unmatched knowledge of cutting to obtain speed, building power and explosion, work ethic, and fanatical dedication that will rub off on hard working players the ravens focused on drafting. Ben Watson could be the best signing this off-season of any team!! Ben Watson is going to help younger players become spectacular athletes. Harbs I'm sure is smart enough to get him hooked up with younger players instantly. Dixon,Stanley,Kufusi,Henry and max. Are all going to benefit training with Watson
  5. Clowney did. But you can't ignore super talent and refined football player for super talent that was very raw. To be honest I bought the clowney hype before even watching him play. But when I saw how raw he was I was convinced Mack was the better player. And I believe everybody here saw it. Mack played with stunning refinement, explosion, athleticism, intensity, power and sheer violence like never seen before. And I do believe he is on the same level of Watt or better by midseason. Clooney has a ways to go with technique and passion before he is even an honorable mention. I would take Kony Ealy before Clowney. He is more skilled in some 5 facets. But I would trade our round1 pick for Clowney and let Harbs Watson and the vet's coach him up and motivate him to work hard and learn his trade. Considering he shows he can avoid injuries this yr.
  6. Ray rice and matt elam or the one of the cheerleaders that did not make the cut. Actually if he would work he could be really good. He is as raw as a round draft pick/athlete
  7. That's it then lol. I consider a 3-4 defensive end an interior player. And if the offense wants to it can isolate the 34 defensive ends to the interior. Kufusi, Henry and Ron Stanley should get in Ben Watson's hip pocket. The dude is a walking encyclopedia of info on cutting fat/gaining speed, building muscle/adding power and explosion. With his help Kufusi could reshape his body and tack on sufficient speed to play 34 rush olb. Although 43 defensive end is his best position. Will Henry training and learning from Ben Watson will be an outright unlockable freak. He is already explosive enough to play LB yet can hold up as a 2gap. He cuts 12-16 lbs and tacks on 12-14 lbs of functional muscle with some coaching up he could be next to unblockable. He reminds me so much of Atkins coming out!! Atkins was 285-293. I said he is undersized but strong and explosive. If he tacks on 10-12 lbs of muscle he could be top 3 penetrator. He surpassed even what I thought he could be. Before his injury he was the best penetrator in the league. Henry has very similar raw skill. Atkins was slightly more matured coming out. He was a gym addict all through college. Whereas Henry just recently found his obsession of getting faster and stronger.
  8. More interested in Kufusi and Henry.
  9. He has Watson to learn from to properly cut excess fat without cutting into muscle or strength. Ben Watson is the most knowledgeable guy for cutting fat and adding muscle to build power speed and lower body explosion. Probably one of the reasons Harbs wanted Ben Watson with Harbs push for better training, nutrition and overall shape and conditioning of his players. Watson is a freak and fanatical building speed power and explosion. He ran down champ Bailey in 2005 from behind following an int. And knocked him out
  10. Do not forget Monroe at times has and can play dominant. If he and Ron Stanley play well, Monroe could concoct a web of trade interest and considerable value. He is under 30 and if he impresses substantially he would generate interest.
  11. I'm not saying I'm right about this but I do not think he would be a good interior player such as 3-4 defensive end or DT. Even penetrating tackle of end. He bends well but trench leverage guy wouldn't be his m.o. I really like him as an edge rusher. Cut 16-20 lbs, play at about 4.75 game speed. Tack on 10-14 lbs of muscle without slowing himself down any and unleash him off the edge. My opinion He is actually a little stronger than credited for Because ravens converted Johnson and mcphee to edge rushers. And those guys are not nearly the athlete that Kufusi is. So what are your thoughts guys.

  13. Judon and ochi could go to practice squad. Ochi in my opinion will make team b4 judon. Reynolds and d. Brown to the practice squad as well. In my opinion Waller will get cut. Arthur will get opportunity. If he shows starter skills he is on the team. If not he is cut.ravens will keep extra wr for returner. Campanaro is on the team if he avoids injury. Running backs will be Dixon and buck. Forsett is not a lock but very likely is on the roster LT and west would have to really show to be a smashing bruiser to make it. But LT and west are likely gone. Monroe should make the team as well. Pitta i like but after 2 hip replacements and so many TEs would have to look awesome to be on the team. Fact is ravens invested to much into his replacements. Watson I like because of his phenomenal work ethic!! His knowledge and detail to training and nutrition is unmatched in the nfl!! He could train and demonstrate work ethic and training and nutrition techniques to interested young players like kufusi, Henry,Ron Stanley and max. His knowledge of building muscle and leaning out to maximize power and speed is by far the best in the league. He is fanatical about it. It is the reason he is playing well at 35. I know kufusi, Henry and Stanley will be interested in learning from him. He could run a 4.6 at his age. It is exciting to know he will be showing Kufusi and Henry the tricks how to maximize power and explosion.
  14. 32I do not believe Monroe will be cut. There is little cap savings for a good player when he is on. He is just turning 29 so he is in his prime. And he can play tackle or guard very well if he is not injured. Most peeps around my table right now are saying we should keep him. It is the main subject of debate tonight
  15. There is no point in cutting an injury free Monroe even if Ron Stanley shows he can play well. Monroe is inconsistent even before his injuries. He looks terrible at times. Then sometimes plays as good as any left tackle in football. He could play guard or tackle. He is stronger than Ron Stanley for now and even if he starts at tackle he could play guard 7f necessary while Ron Stanley plays left tackle. He could show Ron Stanley around the weights. And Monroe could actually light it up and dominate if injury free. Oline is to important to cut Monroe for a minimal savings in money.
  16. Back on subject. Kufusi is likely going to be a 43 defensive end or 34 rush olb. So when he cuts 16-20 lbs of bad weight and adds 10-14 lbs of muscle he will gain a step of explosion. His game speed should be about 4.75. His broad jump should be a little less than 10'. His vertical about 33-35". And his 3cone will be sub7. He will settle in at a leaner and more explosive yet stronger 280-285lbs Not quite the athlete that Peppers is but it is in the category of freak of an athlete for his size. I never really watched much of Peppers. Is Peppers play style similar to Kufusi?? To where their games could be somewhat similar?? Kufusi at these measureables would at least be a feared edge rusher even if he is not compared to Julius Peppers. Come to think of it Mario Williams is a good signing for his cost. A freak like he and Peppers could lose a step and have top shelf athleticism for his size.
  17. It is stunning how many fans will argue ravens are better off with Mosley and jernigan than mack. And Ozzie Decosta get excused for not knowing what Mack would become. Because nobody could of known that so you can not blame him
  18. He likes the replacements for players let go. While I like many ravens draft picks. I wouldn't call everybody who is not a fan of ravens moves a clown. I did not know why everybody in Baltimore loathed skip bayless. Well Sunday night at the gym an employee showed me what he said about Joe cool. I did not even know who skip bayless is. But I know this forum and some fans around have utter hatred for him. lol. But that is his opinions dude.
  19. I would take McCrary at his best before his knee probs over Suggs. And SS Woodson. Call me crazy but running back I like priest holmes. Interesting you have stokley. I agree actually. But I'm not restricting to ravens draft picks. Taking Samari Rolle as well. Strong side backer I'm taking adalius. And weak lb Bart Scott. Won't be long Will Henry will be a starter as all ravens team
  20. Anyways before I was so rudely interrupted I was saying Ron Stanley has the higher ceiling over Tunsil but needs some upper body strength. Somebody at one of my gyms said he saw him in person and said his upper body could use more maturity. And it is very evident in person. With that said in do not believe he is an option at guard. So unless he out plays Monroe in training camp he may not start as a rookie. The consensus is everybody was hoping he got to work early building strength for The nfl. I would say he did. His first question was to see where he would be training. but will take some time unfortunately.
  21. That is a he'll to the no!! Boulwsre at his best is the best ravens edge rusher ever. If not for injuries Boulware would be up there witn Ray Lewis for best defensive players
  22. No matter who a gm listens to its results or else
  23. Do not compare him to Rice. I would compare him to priest Holmes. Dixon is a far better receiver than Rice.
  24. I can't dislike previous drafts but like this one?? Sounds like you are implying you have to love every move Ozzie Decosta makes. Or else hate every move Ozzie Decosta makes??
  25. Not everybody said Elam was a round 1 talent. Many said he would bomb out in the nfl. Jernigan was an run stuffer undersized for the nfl in that role. Not a chance you could tell me jernigan was the better pick than ealy or Robinson. And as you can see no team in the nfl right now would prefer jernigan!! Those are excuses. Owners want results not excuses. Is a fired gm to say " gee boss I took the dudes Mayock(or anybody else for that matter) rated higher. I dunno how the rival teams players turned out to be better players" Ozzie Decosta and all gms make the picks and are responsible for them. Just ask all the fired gms out there and gms on the hot seat. And Ozzie Decosta said are you ready to be ed reeds replacement. look it up
