There's a good shot Suggs was going to have a down year anyways. I told everybody the ravens are getting old and no true #1 WR. Does anybody think the ravens are fixing all these holes by next year?? Not to mention the money Biscotti is on the hook for. Not just Rice but all the underperformers Jimmy,Webb,Pitta,Monroe. Suggs will be going on 35,Dumervil will be 34. And that is just the big money contracts. Does anybody recall the other all pro guards after they hit 32-33?? Faneca,Allen,Hutchinson,Waters?? Everybody is counting on Perriman to be a #1 and has never shown #1 skills. Mosley and Jernigan took steps backwards without Ngata playing. Wagner has really struggled. Then there are the recognized holes corner,FS,WR,Center, The so called bright spots are pure optimism. The TEs are serviceable, not game breakers like everybody is making it sound like. Neither have game changing, speed or skills or another gear like the elite TEs that can take the place of a #1 WR option. But the Ozzie flock talks like Gilmore or Fat maxx are the next Gronk or Gates or even Todd Heap. I understand everybody thought this team was going to compete for the championship. But to actually believe every WR 6'3 or taller is going to be a #1 WR is nieve. Bad drafting and bad signings have caught up to the ravens. I do hope Mosley rebounds to a pro bowl LB and Jernigan rebounds.
