Maybe, I will say this about Gilmore. He got much stronger and more muscular since last year. Not only, while really not a true seam threat, he is a little faster than last year as well as a result of gaining the proper kind of functional muscle and losing a little speed draining fat. If Max can do the same thing defenses better look out. Because Maxx is silky smooth with crafty routes and good hands. If Maxx adds 20 lbs of muscle and loses 20 lbs of fat his play speed, explosion and athleticism would equal 4.55-4.60 40,36" vertical, 10' broad and sub 7 3 cone to parallel his crafty smooth routes. Defenses would have to respect him like a #1 receiver!! In the mold of Tony Gonzalez and Tyler eifert. More like Tony Gonzalez because I think Maxx is craftier than Eifert. If Maxx has Tony's work ethic and dedication to abstract as much as he can from his body he will be a similar player. Maybe he could approach Wittens production and impact as he sits now on natural skill. Which many would consider very successful. But while very productive, Witten did not impact the game the way the top2 TEs of his era Tony Gonzalez and Gates did. Those dudes took the place of a #1 WR and commanded similar respect from defenses as a #1 receiver. Tony Gonzalez could have settled for Being a very productive pro bowler in the mold of witten on his natural skill alone. However he is fanatical about abstracting becoming the strongest most explosive version of an athlete he could be. Resulting in him being a rare breed TE that took the place of a #1 receiver and respected by defenses like a #1 receiver. Maxx has far more potential than what he currently displays. Many TEs would not be NFL caliber if they looked like Maxx. It is not an insult. It is a compliment of how good he could be if he hit fulfilled his athletic potential. Unlike most TEs, he has far more potential locked inside waiting to be utilized.
