  1. Remember, this draft did not have aj greens, khalil macks, and Andrew Lucks and Mario williams' and Reggie Bush's but it was very Very littered with players that have the traits to be pro bowlers. Tell us a draft that boasted receivers witb measurables, production upside and ball skills of Malcolm Mitchell, Chris moore in round4 or pure upside of Demarcus Robinson. At defensive tackle Ridgeway and Will Henry have as much upside as round1 talents in this and previous drafts. For example Malcolm Brown was considered a great pick in this previous draft for being a late round1pick. Ridgeway has as much or better raw skill than his round1 teammate. Will Henry has similar, likely better raw skills than him. Yet Ridgeway and Henry were drafted round4. Yes there were picks that could of been better in my opinion. Correa I like in a 4-3 olb role or 3vdown ilb that excels at blitzing. Tavon in my opinion is limited and not cuz of his size. There were cornerbacks i liked better. However he is gonna be very effective in specific roles. So I do not convince myself every player is an all pro. Will Henry,Dixon and Chris moore do happen to have all the skills to be steals. Kufusi has to get in nfl shape for an edge rusher but has elite potential. Running backs come from mid rounds consistently and Will Henry is very young with elite raw skills. He did not play his roles long enough for early rounds in a quite loaded pool of defensive tackles. More than one scout/coach said if He returned to school he would be a good round 1 draft pick!!
  2. Forsett will show Dixon and Buck Allen how to max his skills, and train to get stronger and faster for the nfl game. 10 lbs of muscle and playing a little leaner and Dixon will be a stallion. A leaner stronger faster 216-219 is ideal for him as for an all around runner/receiver Broncos got a pretty cool steal as well in round4
  3. Will Henry is the biggest steal at defensive tackle since Atkins. When is the last time a slippery penetrator could 2 gap?? And he is yet to grow in his frame. He looks like a teenager yet.lol He has explosive burst and bend and elite power and leverage for bullrush. He has all pro potential. He was nursing a couple nagging injuries at the combine. Many believed he would run a 4.8 cuz the way he ran like a linebacker chasing down running backs and athletic qbs. He has similar power and more rush skill than nearly all tackles drafted early rounds
  4. I dunno I can not find any real info on upside. He seems limited but versatile. He seems to understand angles well. If he gets stronger he could probably be a good right tackle or guard that seals his side effectively although unspectacular. Kind of a surprise pick. Although any steady blocker that leverages angles and seals the play on a consistent basis if he gets stronger could be very effective. However there was more upside available at the pick. In really liked Coleman round3 as a bpa kind of pick. He is right there with Tunsil and Ron Stanley and it is terrible a division rival got him!! He is going to make Joe Thomas expendable eventually. Very similar skills to Tunsil/Stanley
  5. Yep Florida really wanted him. It was believed he was explosive enough to play rush olb but his power, surge and stout anchor screams penetrating defensive tackle. At only 20 he has a lot to learn about his feet and hand use. But the raw power and explosion is there as he consistently rocked blockers back and discarded blockers and chased down athletic qbs and running backs where many defensive tackles job would be to contain. In games and practice he is as fast as the linebackers but in a 305lb frame. He lined up at defensive end on occasion at defensive end and got pressure through explosion and bending the edge as often as with a bullrush. At only 20 yrs old he will mature and get stronger without losing any athleticism. He has been compared to Jerome Brown and Aaron Donald but is just learning how to really use weights and how to play. He wins with natural leverage on sheer instincts. Once he learns to use his leverage and flexibility/explosion He is gonna be tough to block. Although not as touted by media like the big name tackles. With the descriptions going around about him in locker rooms and coaching offices, many are shocked he was there in round4. Because of his rush skills many were thinking he could have been drafted before Ashawn Robinson and some of the stout touted run stuffers because of his skills to get pressure on the qb and his reputation around college circles. Although an explosive slippery penetrating tackle he has occupied multiple gaps/blockers surprisingly well for a 20 yr old penetrator. He should get a lot of pressure in qbs faces. If Suggs and Dumervil have trouble getting to the qb at their age, those guys will be earning their paychecks just by getting Henry coached up and Kufusi stronger and in shape. As Suggs has run through seasons out of shape and has played through seasons where it significantly disrupted his speed and production. And can inform Kufusi on the significance to getting in shape and optimizing his strength/speed. While i do not like Correa taking on tackles he could be a fast 3 Down lb in my opinion that stresses offenses as an advanced Blitzer from ilb or olb in a 4-3
  6. Henry has far more raw skill than Billings. As far as raw skill, only dudes with superior raw explosive skill is maybe Rankins Ridgeway and a dude the ravens probably would not consider if ravens navigated away from his teammate. And Henry is stronger than Rankins and as explosive and athletic. Ridgeway could be a touch stronger, explosive but he has work ethic issues and Henry is 20 yrs old and getting stronger. Nkemdiche and Henry compare very similar. But Henry is younger with better work ethic, intelligence, character. He could very well be the best tackle in a loaded talent pool and one of the best penetrators in the league. He is as explosive as the elite tackles to enter the league recently. Very similar to players like Cox of the eagles. He and Jernigan will make an awesome tandem with brandons surge in the trenches.
  7. A piece of info on Henry 8th. He was dealing with a couple injuries at the combine but kept it under wrap. He is very well capable of a 4.8 40 and 30+ reps. I know Florida tried to recruit him and thought of him as one of the most underrated recruits in the country. I was kind of busy to look for underrated 5 star talents this draft. But in particular scenarios (college, scheme, combine) if things lined up he could be a top15 pick. Somebody at Florida said he could play defensive end or rush olb he is so flexible and explosive. Anyways in my opinion the most underrated players in the draft are Malcolm Mitchell,Hassan Ridgeway,Willie Henry,Chris Moore,Demarcus Robinson,Reshard Robinson,Jatavis Brown. I will bet with odds Henry is going to be better than Buckner!! He is the most ready qb stalker the ravens drafted. I mean Kufusi has massive potential but he needs to add muscle and lose the bad weight to reach his peak. But Henry comes batteries included and charged up. Next year he could of been a top15 pick. Overall I like the ravens draft. I just did not like the Correa pick. He could excel as a 4-3 olb or 3-4 ilb. I just do not like him as a defensive end or 3-4 olb. But some of the later picks were great players. Ron Stanley has more upside but Tunsil is better right now. So that is a tough pick. Because although Ron Stanley has more upside and if he packs on 12 lbs of muscle to his upper bod there will be no debate he is the better player. He has to actually commit to the weights and nutrition and add the muscle to his upper bod. I really like Chris moore but like Malcolm Mitchell a little better but nonetheless Chris moore is very underrated and actually was getting late recognition as more skilled than many receivers being touted as round2 talents.
  8. My cousin who I grew up with in several park graduated from the naval academy. And I have respect for academy grads and its players. With that said, not a fan of the pick. With his playing status and unsettled position. There were players left on the board that could be eventual starters like Kenny Lawler and Darrell Green to name a couple
  9. Kufusi has the potential to be an incredible player similar to Cameron jordan,Michael bennett but even better. He moves so smoothly with such ease. He bends and flattens better than correa. He needs to get in better shape as he is soft around his midsection. He could stand to lose 20 lbs of fat and pack on 12-14 lbs of even symmetrical muscle in his legs and upper body. He should do so in a ravens weight training program especially the way Harbs challenges players to get stronger and more explosive. It will increase his lower body explosion/power and upper body power. It should get his broad to about 10' and vertical to about 34" which will translate to games and help him translate speed to power much better which is one thing he could stand to get better at. When he completes his nfl ideal play weight I would not be surprised to see him with 12+ sacks and an actual feared edge rusher as opposed to a somewhat productive edge rusher. He has potential to be better than mcphee. In the draft i compare him to Kevin dodd. Similar length and flexibility and burst. Dodd is stronger and a little better speed to power. Kufusi is a little smoother with more sudden steps and change of direction. However Dodd already has a leaner more muscular and matured body. With the leaner body clean of bad weight and added muscle he will be better than Dodd all the way around. He will pick up a touch of burst and explosion and speed to power to go with his already great suddenness and flexibility. He ran like a 4.85 and no reason to believe he couldn't get his 40 time to about 4.65-4.70 that will translate to games. He would arrive at a leaner stronger more explosive 275 lbs with explosive burst that can bend flatten and convert speed to power. And could play defensive end in a 4-3 or strong side rush olb in a 3-4. He is one player it would be cool to see get to his best play weight. Because he could be the best edge rusher in this draft. He is an older rookie so he has to hit his training and nutrition hard this spring/summer. Ravens should hire a renowned bodybuilding trainer/nutritionist (like parillo/Todd Sweeney) to work with the team functional strength/flexibility trainers to help particular players design programs to build muscle and help it translate to games. The bodybuilding trainer/nutritionist could design workouts to add muscle while strength/flexibility trainers(like the marinovich program) design programs to help the new muscle to translate to functional power/ explosion in games. Becuse adding muscle is 70-80% nutrition. Kufusi is an exciting talent with ridiculous potential if he built a body like Bosa or Dodd. He would be better than Bosa and Dodd!! Because he has more functional edge rush skills than Bosa or Dodd. Those dudes just have more functional matured muscle and leaner body with less bad weight than Kufusi. If Kufusi were leaner stronger faster 270-280 lbs i would bet money his ceiling would be as good or better than Bosa and Dodd. And would be one of the more feared edge rushers in the league. He has the potential!!
  10. Offensive line without KO still the strongest unit. Young talent and vet leader. Ron Stanley finally in a full time weight training and nutrition program should easily pack on 12 lbs of muscle and he will be all pro!! He is just so natural at protecting the edge. Like I Said Tunsil is slightly better now but he is roided up. While Ron Stanley was a full time actual legit college student that was to busy to commit to a full time workout program. So he has far more upside than Tunsil. When he packs on 12-16 lbs of muscle and naturally leans out some from the muscle, he will be leaps and bounds better than Tunsil!! He will eventually play at a leaner stronger 6'6 320 lbs with 36" arms and his elite athleticism, unique feel for the position and and play with more violence than in college once he plays beside Yanda and Jensen. He is going to be a force!! Then take into account Jensen stepping up as a force at guard. Urschel settled in and adjusted at center. He is far stronger and more physical than Zuttah atb6'3 320. Then an injury free Wagner dominating at right tackle and the ravens oline is the strength of the team. Monroe can back up tackle and guard. Zuttah is a very reliable backup and good center in his own right. But as Harbs pointed out Urschel brings more power violence and athleticism. As good as KO is, Jensen is not much of a downgrade. He is 327 lbs very strong athletic and nasty. Jensen could play left tackle if necessary. He to is dedicated to the weights now. In college he was not much of a workout warrior yet did like 31 reps. Quite impressive for somebody that did not lift weights all that much at the time.Ravens oline is again going to be the engine that powers theteam
  11. Do not rule out Correa playing ilb. Or even olb in a 4-3. The ravens are going to run a lot of 4-3.Orr is solid, unspectacular
  12. His skill set says 4-3 lb or ilb. There are reservations(which i will not get into) about his potential to succeed even there but if I were to bet I would say he will be at least a very good to standout lb. This will not mean I will not root for him to be a standout edge rusher. It is just my opinion he will not be. And I'm usually right in my opinions about players potential and ceiling in the nfl. Of course I prefer him to be a double digit edge rusher and show his skill, potential to do so as arookie
  13. You guys are going to be very disappointed in Correa if ravens try him at edge rusher. He could maybe be an impact strong 4-3 LB. Flex once thought Buckner was the best player in the draft. I watched him for 5 plays and said this guy will not have the juice to succeed in the nfl. These remind me of conversations about Scrubshaw. Any bulking will take from cirreas burst. It's just his bodytype. Sure Correa plays harder more polished but outside of burst he has nothing going. Ngakoue when he squares up produces a pop. Correa, nobody will fear his tackles. He is a poor man's version of Broncos young edge rusher Ray. When you have got together with former division1 college playersnon saturday afternoons and feel what pop is behind a hit. And can identify it when you see it on tv. Im not going to get into an explanation of Correa not being a good edge rusher i will say he is not going to be and I will say I told you so when he fails to make an impact in the nfl
  14. Watch more of his games not his highlights where is a drag down tackler even on his highlights. Correa may be a little more polished but he is not even close to Ngakoue at rushing the qb!! LBs can sharpen the edges lb responsibilities. But if he doesn't have enough juice to beat tackles and get to the qb then he will never be a good edge rusher. And there is not a chance in he// he will beat nfl tackles. Ngakoue has the raw skills to be a good edge rusher. We will revisit this thread when it becomes apparent he is never going to be a feared edge rusher. I will bet money with odds he is not going to be a great or very good edge rusher.
  15. Duuuuude how did you miss that?? lol Nfl network dudes were saying he has elite raw tools and were saying he could end up being drafted in round1. I do not care for him. He is not flexible or strong. And He is a drag down tackler. He looks to struggle often getting qbs much lighter than him to the ground. I would of much preferred Ngakoue over him. His best position could be 4-3 strong lb. Cuz he has very good burst and long speed and could be a very good blitzer cuz of his position being defensive end, rush olb. But his stiff play could hurt him in coverage trying to cover running backs and athletic TEs. And his hits are kind of unimpressive so far from what I saw. But there is a chance he could flourish as a4-3 strong Linebacker with his burst, energy and blitz experience. Much like Boulware played that position. But as a defensive end or 3-4 rush olb he is a total bust there in my opinion and will not beat nfl tackles. Sorry If that offends but I do not like the pick.
  16. I have top shelf standards for players!! And championships!! I like some picks while some picks I hated. I believe some picks have massive potential with the right work ethic and play weight. Some players stock is in their court if he wants to work extra hard in weight room, flexibility training and strict nutrition. It is odd how nutrition is not given as much attention as the weight training itself. That is where loads of muscle and less fat for power and explosion is like an untapped goldmine!! Bronson is one of these players. He has a nice skill set that could really be maxxed to borderline Pro bowl player. Dixon one of my favorites in the draft could stand to be a little better shape. He could own a touch more muscle while a touch leaner to play a touch stronger and more faster to arrive at a play weight that could prop him as the best running back in the draft considering his receiving skills and nose for touchdowns. He runs like Dion Lewis Thomas Rawls with priest Holmes receiving skills and flare for touchdowns. 10 lbs of muscle and lose about 8 lbs of fat to play at little leaner stronger explosive 216-219 lbs is his sweet spot for 2000 all purpose yard seasons. I like th Moore pick although I liked Malcolm Mitchell a little better. And Demarcus Robinson is a stud in my opinion. Moore however could be a 1000 yard receiver. However i do not care for the Correa pick. He should never of been so overhyped in my opinion. Henry is a solid pick but Ridgeway has the tools to be a total stud. I'm not crazy bout the tavon young pick. While tough for his size witb good ball skills but he looks like he is not very fluid or sudden. And some better cornerbacks were available like Ryan Smith Harlan Miller and Robinson who is the best cornerbackin the draft. Moore is a tough dude to grasp. I'm rooting for him cuz it would be so cool to finally draft a stud WR and he has tools. The jury is out on if he is, could be sudden fluid route runner with run after catch skills over The middle in traffic. Then there us Ron Stanley who could be the best left tackle in the league if he puts on 12 lbs of muscle!!
  17. Billick is awesome. He actually said I'll worry about his 40 time when the qb begins lining up in shotgun 40 yards behind the center. Billick is a great coach. Shame ravens could not land a qb while he was coach. If ravens would of traded for Brees after 2004 like he wanted, the ravens could of lifted 4 championships with that defense!!
  18. In my opinion he is similar to priest holmes. He runs like Dion Lewis with some Thomas Rawls and runs with the nose for the score like priest Holmes!! He would make up for letting Holmes go. One of biggest mistakes by ravens management. Dixon catches the ball like Holmes as well. One reason I liked Holmes better than lewis
  19. That is just it i do not think of him as a 5t even. Cuz even the 5t the defense can isolate him into base responsibility. And that just isn't his game. I could see where pees and the orchestra could try to play that tune but he is a 4-3 defensive end or 3-4 rush olb. He needs to get himself in shape for particular positions. If ravens run a 4-3 he it would serve his cause to to drop his 20lbs of bad weight he is carrying and put on 12 lbs of muscle. And play at about a faster stronger 275lbs where he will compare to Jared Allen/Cameron jordan or Chris Long at worst. If he plays olb ina 3-4 it would benefit him to drop the 23lbs or so of bad weight. And tone up with 5-7lbs of muscle and play at a leaner fast 265-270. Either way if he gets himself in top shape he will be one of the bigger steals. The length and flexibility/burst is there. If he hits the weights and nutrition regimen he will be very good borderline elite. If he coasts on natural skills he will be just a guy that has his moments but will not be a difference maker.
  20. Yeah he is carrying about 20lbs of bad weight. He could be a steal ifbhe gets in top shape. Cuz he has movement skills for a tall guy. Just do not let thev285lbs trick you. He is no 3-4 defensive end.He has a 4-3 defensive end body maybe even rush olb. He will gain a couple steps if he cuts the bad weight. And could be a double digit sack guy if he gets in top shape. And could easily play at sub 4.7 speed at about 260-265 for the rush olb positions. If ravens play 4-3 it would fit him to lose 20 lbs of bad weight and then add about 10-12 lbs of muscle to play at a leaner stronger more explosive 270-275. He has MASSIVE potential if he gets in top shape. It is the Correa pick I do not like. To often he was washed and showed zero agility to catch his balance and fight back. His best chance in my opinion is going to be as a 4-3 strong side LB that excels in blitzing and range. like the Boulware role.
  21. Liked the Moore pick!! Just Malcolm Mitchell ìs better. Similar speed and ball skills but is an advanced route runner that hits cuts and breaks in a blink. Qb was terrible and he slowed out of his breaks so his qb could find him. With Brady that will not be a prob. He can hit the accelerator out of his breaks. He is going to take the nfl by storm. Moore and Mitchell were the 2 most underrated WRs in this draft. I just like Mitchell a touch better cuz of his route running and suddenness in cuts
  22. That is silly. The Broncos drafted Dumervil and Brandon Marshall in round4 in one draft. Only pick I liked of ravens is Kenneth Dixon. The rest are just rotational role players in my opinion. It would of been cool to get Malcolm Mitchell over Moore. Mitchell is criminally underrated. Not sure he was drafted after Moore. But he is extremely intelligent and high character. Very surprised ravens did not draft him. Sucks patsies got him. He is one of my rookie of the year picks. I liked Demarcus Robinson a lot. He was my favorite receiver in the draft and one of the top3 receivers. But he was a drama player once upon a time. So the ravens did not want a WR that skilled for their reason. But I can not believe Moore was picked over Malcolm Mitchell!! He is the high character the ravens were looking for in this draft and intelligent and a borderline explosive athlete. Like I said criminally underrated. He and Dixon would of held a candle to any round4 combo!! If he wins rookie of year it is going to be a lot of criticism directed at Ozzie cuz he is the high character player the ravens were looking for but he actually has skills.
  23. As for ochi his level of competition was like highschool. The players he played against looked like highschool players so it is hard to count on him to be anything more than a practice squadder. It would be cool if he is an impact edge rusher. But in my opinion ravens need an edge rusher. Ochi I'm not counting on him to be a game changer
  24. Truth be told kipper just collects a paycheck. Mayock puts some time in but not like he did years ago. Miller I don't know. But Mayock doesn't love trying to forecast players like he did. He is interested in his paychecks and gf 20 yrs younger. He has Said before off the camera he is glad draft season is behind him and is hyper joyful he will not have to watch football tape for months. Kipper same thing but he doesn't even watch tape. He collects info and reports like it is his opinions.
  25. I'll remind you when none of those guys do anything
