  1. You are not in favor if a 4-3?? At all??
  2. This draft was so loaded in round3-4 I would of traded next year's #1 pick for a round 3 and a pair of round4 picks in this draft. Then traded all the late round picks to trade back into round4. And added one of Coleman/ Ngakoue,Reshard Robinson,Ridgewayand one of Demarcus Robinson/Malcolm Mitchell. All very skilled players witb pro bowl potential. my opinionReshard Robinson is the best cornerback in the draft!! I like him as much as I liked Ron Darby in the draft. I know many of my ravens fan mates are going to disagree and call it a ridiculous idea. But I believe those players to be early round talents. And Will help the ravens to a championship. So it is trading a late round pick for impact talent!!
  3. Yep it was ridiculous. However when he dropped the weight to play rush lb again the power helped him a lot. He was by far the best edge rusher at the superbowl run. Harbs bulked him up to play 3-4 dline to keep the controversy in check. Many believed he should of been the guy over johnson. But Johnson was a Harbs favorite and he did jot want everybody saying Kruger should be the guy. So he changed his position to keep Johnson there unchallenged. Coaching fed everybody the b.s. that Kruger couldn't play the run. But once he played he was actually fine playing the run. I went to a game and Johnson/Suggs couldn't get pressure at all. Kruger came in hit the qb as he threw and sacked him the next play. He should of been the guy before the superbowl.
  4. Probably Do not need to be Einstein. But have to be smart enough to learn and anticipate tendencies. I'm curious what Connor McGovern's is?? I like him a lot. And Willie Beavers.
  5. The dolphins can afford to get him some ginko biloba now that his rookie contract is cheaper. I was not surprised by this. I was thinking about his intelligence to download a playbook and an edge rushers gameplan. I would of guessed Ron Stanley would score about 30. But 27 is fine because he is a dedicated worker evident by his working on a legit degree while playing football.
  6. I get what you are saying. But Eric Decosta is his own person with his own beliefs, style, personality etc. ... if everybody was exactly like their teacher everything would be the same. Some become better than their teacher while some never come near their teachers status. Decosta learns from the league In general. He picks up on rival teams success and failures as well as Ozzies and draws from it. However Eric and Ozzie share enough beliefs that if this draft and free agent class is a failure, do not be surprised to see a different regime altogether if Ozzie were to "retire" since Biscotti probably would not fire him. Biscotti will consider how many of the failed experiments Eric Decosta was in favor of and actually were his ideas himself. As for who the replacement would be. Biscotti would probably be split between experience and an obscure young bright scouting assistant that is always right but his bosses are to proud to listen to him and acknowledge it. Football coaching, scouting, management is a dirty business!! Intelligent inclined guys are held down for being to good. For the record I do not like the free agent class. However I really like the draft class potential
  7. Everybody knows I never cared for Ramsey. I liked ravens to draft a left tackle and work on a formidable oline!! I really like Tavon. He is more than a nickel slot. He has ball skills to play longer throws. One thing about him is he covered all day. Qbs in his division typically were able to hold the ball all day. While Reshard Robinson is the best cornerback in this draft I really like Tavon pick and he is gonna be a good player. I'm not a fan of the Weddle signing cuz he was clearly slowing down but maybe he can give one good year. Not sure his contract structure but at his age it is ridiculous in my opinion. I like young players becoming very good and impact players. I prefer to root for Tavon Young and Chris Moore to be impact players than Eric Weddle and Mike Wallace. Chris Moore did not run many routes but he has athleticism acceleration and fluid hips to run fast sharp routes that Wallace never could. I'm more in favor of the rookies making an impact and maxx getting in shape and making an impact than players signed In free agency.
  8. I was all about tunsil. However before I go any further let's keep in mind even if Tunsil were not in this draft, Ronnie Stanley is the top rated left tackle since Tyron Smith. And there is not much separating the 2. I would say the difference is all the ovaltine Tunsil has been drinking. Ron Stanley was an actual college student that wanted a legit degree. He could not even commit to a training program like he wanted with classes, studying, football, practice. When he met with management his initial words he asked to see where he would be lifting weights/training. Tunsil has a stronger upper body as expected. But Ron Stanley clearly has bigger stronger legs which indicates a naturally bigger frame than Tunsil. And he will get bigger and stronger as he hits the weights. If Ron Stanley were juicing like Tunsil there wouldnt be a debate who the better left tackle is!! And once Ron Stanley puts on 12-14 lbs of muscle to his upper body he will be the better nfl left tackle. I will acknowledge Tunsil is a little better now. He has a stronger and leaner upper body. But Ron Stanley has more potential by far. Because his frame is not maxxed. His upper body can carry extra muscle and lean out to be stronger and more explosive. It is very close as to who is better. Consider Ron Stanley with an extra12-14lbs of muscle and as strong and lean as Tunsil. He already has stronger legs and generates more him snap. So while your criticism of Ozzies moves the last several years definitely holds water. He has made many bad draft picks and decisions. Im not a fan of his free agent signings. As much as i get angry at Ozzie especially after last yrs draft class and missing on a WR in maryland, not getting an edge rusher in a loaded class and reaching on perriman. I will give him this draft to have an A draft class and draft better. And while there were better players in my opinion at some picks. Overall it looks like a good class. I'm curious how much you rate Tunsil?? And what are your issues with Ron Stanley not ever being as good as Tunsil. Because Tunsil and Stanley are pretty close and the highest rated tackles the last several years. And Ron Stanley has a lot more potential once he packs on 12-14lbs of muscle and leans out a little. He could be the best left tackle in the game. He is similar to Clady in his prime but has stronger legs and hips than Clady. My opinion Ron Stanley with 12-14 lbs of muscle and a little leaner is going to be a force at left tackle!! Something you may want to consider Ron Stanley looks more intelligent and like somebody that is going to work for the ravens and hitting the weights. Tunsil looks like he is taking his paychecks and nfl status to strip clubs!!
  9. In my opinion Correa is an olb in a 4-3 that Will learn to cover and game changing blitzer. Similar to an intelligent physical version of Bruce irvin. Kufusi should lean out add a little muscle and He Will be a very good rush olb in a 3-4 or defensive end in a 4-3. Will Henry is a rare talent. Runs about 4.8 with explosive burst and bend!! He is fast enough to play lb yet holds up against 2 gaps/blockers. His best fit is penetrating DT or penetrating 3-4 defensive end. He is going to make fans forget about not drafting Buckner.
  10. If Ramsey was rated the best in the draft then ravens should of traded a round3. He is not the best in the draft in my opinion. But if he was their top player then should of traded up. Ozzie and Eric place to much value on quantity. Come on Biscotti ordered the trade up for Flacco. Oz and Eric were content to wait and draft their next best qb!! if a rival team drafted him. That thinking is wrong. However in this case i liked Ron Stanley/Tunsil better. Anybody that says that it is not a sexy pick is wrong. If Ron Stanley is an anchor to an elite oline that fuels an elite offense how is that not sexy?? Last year once the oline dominated with KO at left tackle and Jensen at guard and Wagner playing without injuries the offense was a legit WR away from a really elite offense. Stanley is better at left tackle especially once he adds some muscle. And Jensen will prove to be a very good guard. He will replace KO without much difference. However ravens could again be a legit receiver away from an elite offense which brings up the next point. There ardifferent decisions that could hurt far more than not trading up for Ramsey. Like not drafting Reshard Robinson. He could very well be better than Ramsey. Then ravens decided to not draft Spence and jack. If that tandem performs at a pro bowl level and Correa is a bust at edge rusher and ravens struggle to get to the qb. Then management is going to be scrutinized like never before!! Then there is receiver. Ravens decided to ignore some complete talents like Malcolm Mitchell and Demarcus Robinson for a perceived one trick pony in Chris Moore. What is it with ravens and limited WRs?? Can't management look for a complete receiver?? It is limited long WR or limited possession receiver. Then fans are so shocked ravens can't seem to draft a legit receiver and wait to jump in dumpsters for WRs trashed. Ravens missed on a WR in their own state!! If Robinson and Mitchell are impact rookies while Chris Moore struggles to even play, ravens management is really going to get roasted. As well as the players mentioned. Because ravens picked 5 Times in round4 and decided to not draft Spence/jack. There will be no excuses if all the mentioned players are far better than the players the ravens drafted. I liked Mitchell/Robinson better than Chris Moore. However Chris Moore has talent to be agood route runner
  11. The Caribbean Kufusi QB blend
  12. Not sure i would want ravens to pick up a cornerback. I like Tavons chance to be more than a nickel/slot cornerback. He can cover longer throws especially in zone. Height can be overrated on many plays. He has good short area explosion,Awareness and ball skills to be far more than a slot cornerback. He can cover long as well
  13. The ravens best rookie this year we will nickname him "EXPRESSO" This is year ravens get an impact rookie!!
  14. He may struggle initially to beat press but he is to good of an athlete to have trouble getting off a jam!!
  15. More I hear about Tavon the more I hear shutdown cornerback with instincts and ball skills but did not quite have preferred measurable of typical shutdown cornerback. But many of better cornerbacks drafted after round 1 did not have quite preferred measurables. Forget his height. If he ran 5/100 of a tick faster 40 and played in pac12 or sec he could of been a round 1 pick
  16. Dude, I do not think it will be much of a problem. His first question was where he will be lifting weights. He always wanted to commit more to packing on muscle but his hectic college schedule and games/practice prevented it. The coaches and trainers will work closely with him to for nutrition/workout program for functional flexible muscle.
  17. Ok Round1: whoo boy decisions decisions. Honestly i would of considered trade down and drafted Nkemdiche and extra picks in a loaded talent pool. However doing the sound thing with a top10 pick is choosing Stanley /tunsil. Tough decision but I would go with Ronnie and be sure he puts on 12 lbs of fast twitch muscle and hits his potential of being the most potent left tackle in the league!! Tunsil is better now but roided up.Roid up Stanley or pack on 12 lbs of muscle and there is no debate who is the best!! Round2 Spence. Maybe traded down again and try to land Correa or Correa and Ngakoue. Correa will be a standout lb in my opinion. But Spence is the better edge rusher. Round3 Kufusi and push him to get in top shelf shape to play rush defensive end or rush olb. He would play special teams til we see him making all out effort to get in his best shape. Consisting of hitting weights and power drills hard and nutrition program to cut the bad weight. And he will be a dynamic edge rusher. Round4 Reshard Robinson however I like the Tavon pick. Could be a Malcolm Butler clone!! However Robinson in my opinion is the best in the draft. Malcolm Mitchell: I like a touch better than Chris however those guys are most underrated receivers in the draft. Will Henry: elite raw skills. Power/explosion flexibility Ridgeway: elite skills Dixon: could stand to be in a little better shape but awesome player and round4 steal. Totally!! Round4: from a trade down before Correa pick or trade round5 and round6 picks to get back into round 4,the sweet spot of the draft. and pick one of Demarcus Robinson,Chris moore,Tavon young/best oline player available. Not an easy selection but probably narrowing it down to Chris Moore/Tavon. Of course this is "opinions"
  18. I never met anybody that EXPECTS every pick to be wrong. In this particular draft there is not much separating a round2 and round4 player at most positions. So expectations are for impact players in round4. If players drafted after ravens picks are better then the picks are wrong. I liked Mitchell a little better but pulling for Chris Moore to be a standout!! I liked Robinson but want Tavon to be a standout. Nkemdiche was the best player in my opinion but Henry has similar skills
  19. That is somewhat true. The national media dudes like nfl network team will profess love of players and players believed to be overrated. Then Ozzie can pick the overrated guys then the media gives Ozzie an A. Although his recent drafts have been average to terrible. I know of some scouts that believe Ozzie should be on a leash. And even boast the ravens 5-11 is no surprise considering ravens recent drafts and contract signings. and even laugh at his recent drafts and decisions and joke how fans are propping him up and laying their love while he is flushing the team. And rumor is biscotti likes Ozzie and Ozzie isn't on any kind of a leash. However Biscotti did not say let's find starters, he said flat out he wants starters in this draft. Sounds like he is saying ok guys no more busts. Get some impact players for a change. I like this draft overall. However if Mitchell is better than Chris moore and Spence or Jack are standouts while Correa busts. And if cornerbacks out play Tavon that were drafted after him then Biscotti is going to begin to show he is irritated. Correa has to be at least a standout 3 down lb/great blitzer to justify not drafting spence/jack.
  20. Hey dude you do no know homer is not a dirty word.lol or a bad word. I can be a homer at times myself. I just reserve my super optimism for players with top shelf potential. Like Henry,Dixon,Chris moore. actually skimmed games on tavon young and asked around about him. Cuz ever body knows I like Robinson and believe he is the best cornerback in this draft. I like him better than i liked Ron Darby in some ways. However I was more impressed with his game tape than actual highlights. The word on Tavon is boom or bust. He is a shutdown dback in college. However many (not all) scouts do not think he has the twitch and long speed of elite smaller cornerbacks. His projected 40 time was 4.50-4.55. But he did run 4.46. Some scouts see his limited twitch and long speed as very minor difference from the elite 5'9-5'10 cornerbacks. If he ran a 4.40 or better and went to a bigger school he is a round 1 pick any draft. However he is not from the sec and scouts are reserved if he plays to his 4.46. So he is boom or bust. A standout player or liability. That is my point backing up management and playing along like every pick was the best move. While Tavon could be a standout he may not of been the best pick. There may of been better players and even better cornerbacks. Fans would like to see him play very well but he could bust. Comparing him to elite smallish cornerbacks and Getting angry at fans that see bust potential is not going to increase his chances of succeeding. He is not my favorite cornerback available at that spot but I like the pick. While rooting for ravens players to be impact players, fans shouldn't play along that every player drafted is the best player ravens could of drafted. That is ridiculous. As is not rooting for Ron Stanley cuz he is a very good left tackle himself with a lot of upside once he packs on muscle
  21. what did he say so preposterous?? While I do not agree that Tunsil is that much better than Ron Stanley but nonetheless is the better player (and Stanley has the better upside but actually has to play to it.) There is nothing wrong with saying your opinion about the ravens draft picks and decisions or liking different players in the draft. I really the ravens draft overall but there are a couple picks that were not bpa in my opinion. And players the ravens missed the boat on by ignoring or drafting for need. However I will root for the players to play well. But there is nothing wrong with not agreeing and stating different opinions. This is a discussion board for that purpose.
  22. The video looked bad. Nobody is saying it did not. However you have to consider there is a difference in a college dude that smokes weed at a party and a pothead that is a failed drug test away from suspension'(S). Will Hill being a team friendly deal is not the question here. It is do you believe in giving college kids a chance or not. Do you wanna expell anybody from your team that has ever smoked weed?? If there is a worry that he is a pothead and will fail drug tests then I can agree with that. If management says you smoked weed or got in a fight and says we do not want you on the team then that is plain wrong. Besides diluting your talent by taking lesser talented players because he is squeaky clean, these are 18-21 yr olds. Young kids sometimes do stupid things. And you have to be sure he has the skills to play in the league foremost. What looks like a touch difference in skills in college is usually vast in the nfl!! Like I said if he looks like a pothead/total troublemaker loser then I totally agree with management with not drafting him!! Before kicking a talented player off draft plans the team needs to be sure he is a pothead/troublemaker. Tunsil is the better player now. Ron Stanley has the upside and will be better if he packs some muscle on. But he actually has to do it. If he fails and struggles in the nfl and Tunsil becomes an all Pro left tackle it will look really bad on management. Cuz it is their job to decide if a player will be a bust cuz of drama or if is just an incident. If Spence is an elite edge rusher and Correa busts then that is on management cuz it is management's job to decide. However Correa should at least be a good lb.
  23. Ron Stanley/ Will Henry
  24. lol however I agree Kufusi is not an interior player at any weight. It would better serve him to drop 20 lbs of the bad weight he is carrying then pack on 10-12 lbs of fast twitch muscle and play at a leaner stronger more explosive 270-280 or so for 4-3 edge rusher/ 3-4 rush olb. That is his skills and position. He has a ceiling of a hybrid of Cameron jordan/Michael McCrary. And a very effective edge rusher. KC the more I consider it has skills to be a very good 3 down 4-3 olb/3-4 ilb that is an awesome Blitzer as well. He has speed to cover and play sideline to sideline and take on blocks. If Kufusi can get in top shape and be a very good edge rusher then defenses will have hard time blocking Correa when he blitzes because of having to deal with Dumervil, Williams Jernigan Henry and Kufusi. So when Correa blitzes he will have a similar effect as Boulware. If ravens play 3-4 it Kufusi needs to lose 20 lbs and adding a couple steps of speed to his game because he is carrying some excess weight. He could get his game speed to the 4.75 range.
  25. Especially in this draft. Not much difference in round2 and round4 picks. I did not like all the picks. Not to crazy about tag in and Alex Lewis but Dixon Henry Moore Kufusi Ron Stanley have standout skills and upside!! I was soooo pissed ravens did not drsft Atkins in that draft. Henry has as much explosion power and upside as Atkins. When he hits an nfl weight program and learns to use his power explosion and flexibility he is going to be a feared player!!He looks like a teenager and is an explosive penetrator with lb speed yet at times is responsible for multiple gaps/blockers and plays it like an experienced nosetackle
