  1. Dislike all you want. Show me one team that won a championship without rare talents!! So you need to make moves to get a couple of those guys you build your team around. Like Mayock said about trading up for qbs. It will not matter what it costed cuz you need a franchise qb. Franchise qbs never hit free agency just as Khalil Macks and .uk watts never hit free agency. Overrated players like Suh may hit the market and you will vastly overpay for him. But Macks watts reeds do not ever hit free agency. Have to draft'em
  2. It wasn't 3 round1 picks. The asking price was actually reasonable. It was a round1-3. Decosta is very cheap at dealing picks. Nobody woukd actually consider what he actually offers. He did not want to part with a round 3 pick to get back into round1 and round2. Ravens usually fail at trade up attempts. Ozzie and Decosta did not want to part with a round pick to trade up for Joe Cool. Ozzie and Decosta were content to draft the next best qb if a rival team took Joe cool. Biscotti ordered the trade up. Hevwas going to risk losing their top rated qb over a round pick!! A bargain by the standards of what teams are trading to move up to get a franchise qb. It was a good draft but Crockett Jernigan and Mosley are all replaceable. Game changing rare talents like Mack are not easily replaced!! Game changers are like qbs. You are not winning a championship without a couple of them. So may as well take some chances to get game changing players with rare skills
  3. I totally agree!! I would not really like to see campanaro returning kicks. He is talented and will break out if he can play the games. Chris moore may be a good returner. But he has so much potential as a receiver in would prefer to see him focus at we and route running. Plan is for Campanaro Perriman and Moore are the preferred trio take the receiver roles. All are young and fast. If those guys mastered routes and the science of receiving the ravens would have an awesome offense for many years. Prefer Moore to outperform Wallace. Those are the young talents to grow with Joe Cool
  4. I was just saying in general a player that is available for 16 games has to perform well or he is no more serviceable than the injured or suspended dude. Nothing to do with Tunsil/Stanley. lol I knew your fling with Buckner wouldn't last.
  5. If Ron Stanley has problems dominating in the run game we will just have to juice him up like Tunsil.
  6. You drew I was saying Tunsil is better from that?? Weren't you clamoring and even arguing for Buckner for a while?? lol I'm glad you changed your mind on that one. Will Henry is going to be better than Buckner. Just as Kufusi will although a different position.
  7. Kufusi is not an interior player. He is a 4-3 defensive end or a 3-4 rush olb. He is more likely to drop some excess weight and play olb unless ravens run 4-3 then he will play defensive end. He is not as stout as urban but a far better athlete. Kufusi could totally be a freak!! At the right play weight and body composition. Losing 16-20 lbs of body fat and packing on 10-13lbs of muscle is his sweet zone. It will put him at stronger more explosive 280 lbs. From what i viewed in his play he can bend And flatten a little better than he is credited for. A little burst of speed and power and ravens level coaching to add to his natural size power and athleticism and he will be quite a player!! It would be cool for he and Ron Stanley to train with Will Henry. Will is driven to be the strongest most explosive player in the game. He is all for learning all the tricks for muscle and explosion!! He is already an awesome athlete. He bends and gets low enough with enough explosion to beat his blockers without much hand usage. He is raw BUT raw tools do not get much sharper than Will Henrys. Chris Moore is a good worker himself. He wants to get stronger and more explosive /flexible for separating and run after catch. Ravens came away with a very motivated class!!
  8. Yep. Because he is cleaner and a harder worker with upside. And Tunsil is juiced which means not much upside left. He is not getting much stronger or explosive. Like I said give Ron Stanley even close to Tunsils strength and upper bod maturity and he is better than Tunsil and people wouldn't even question it
  9. And a player has to actually perform. To much stock is put into a player playing in the game. A player can be available but if he sucks is he really any better than the injured or suspended player
  10. To me this is a clear pic. Tunsil is a little more dominant and agressive at point of attack. Their feet and skill to catch speed is very similar. Tunsils upper body Is far more matured. Ron Stanley generates his movement through technique. His hands and feet working and hip snap and hip push. Tunsil is more dominant but more raw upper body strength as opposed to Ron Stanley's techniques. You give Ron Stanley similar upper body strength and he is the better player. However Ron Stanley has to commit to packing on muscle getting stronger in his upper bod/core. To be as good as Tunsil and exceed him
  11. In a typical draft i would trade a tandem of round4 picks to get back into round3 no debate about it!! However what this draft is missing in top10 sex appeal it made up in a deep pool of talent. There is not much separating round3 and round4 at many positions in this draft. Will Henry and Hassan Ridgeway are as skilled as the round2 defensive tackles. And are actually better at getting to the qb than Robinson and Reed. T young and Reshard Robinson are as good as the round2 cornerbacks. Young has skills to be very very good cornerback. Just a notch below the top guys is his ceiling. Robinson I said it before is the best cornerback in this draft. Call me out on it guys and insult me if I'm wrong!! I wanted ravens to get him. Chris Moore and malcolm mitchell are better than many of the round2 and round3 receivers. As a matter of fact Mayock and some of the experts took notice of Chris Moore later in draft season and said he creeper under radar and has more raw talent than many of the receivers that will get drafted before him. And said although he is a late player to push up draft boards a team could draft him in round2 even without a lot of hours scouting on him as typical round2 picks. He plays far faster than his 40 time. He pulled away from Jackson 4.37 and Apple 4.40. He is raw as an intermediate route runner but very flexible and sudden. Will Henry could run a 4.8 and 2 gap. His get off and closing speed is rush LB territory. ! Moore and Henry have top shelf work ethics. My point is this is not a typical round4. Dixon speaks for himself as a talent available round4. Demarcus Robinson is a unique round 4 talent as well would not surprise me if he turns out to be the best receiver in this draft. I would of preferred him over Alex Lewis. I liked many players in round4. Would like the ravens to of drafted Ridgeway, Reshard Robinson and Demarcus Robinson in addition to the players already drafted in round4. I would actually trade a round 1 pick from next year for additional round 3 and and 2 round4 picks this draft. With the Robinsons in round4 and Ngakoue round3 ravens would really benefit this year with all that talent. Then there is higbee that is more talented than most round2 TEs. So this is not your typical round4 in typical drafts
  12. .So what are some thoughts on this. If ravens are going to focus on character and players that want to be great then why not take it further. And redesign the system of trainng and practice methods?? Every player interviewed before the draft will be asked if he will comply with a strict training and nutrition program to hit target weight, muscle and fat ratios for his position and and job. A player can hit the weights and training very hard But nutrition is undervalued yet dictates a person's muscle growth and fat gain/drop. For example 2 similar players with similar size and skills can Do the same intense training. Yet nutrition and calorie intake will determine muscle and strength gains and fat loss. A player can eat 3000-4000 calories a day of bacon pork rinds and jelly beans and he is not going to pack on nearly the muscle and strength of somebody eating 3000-4000 calories consisting of 6 meals a day of good protein, complex carbs and good usable fats as well as sports supplements to help muscle and strength gains. Just as the player consuming 4500 good clean calories will gain muscle and power but not lose large amounts of fat. (Which is a good plan for a tackle to follow) While the linebacker that consumes 3000-3500 clean calories a day with muscle building supplements will pack on muscle but a a slightly slower pace. But he will lean out a little more in the process. Somebody like Kufusi would follow the 3000 nutritious high protein plan to add some muscle while dropping body fat for a stronger emphasis on more speed while packing on some muscle for power and explosion. Will Henry would follow the 4000 good nutritious calories with sports supplements for a greater emphasis on gaining fast twitch muscle in his calves, hips, core, shoulders, triceps and forearms for extra power and explosion in the trenches while a smaller emphasis on leaning out a little simultaneously or even packing on the fast twitch muscle while his body fat remains pretty much the same. Then once he packs on his 12-16 lbs of symmetrical functional muscke he would then adjust his calories to add muscle at a slower rate while placing a more dominant emphasis dropping 12-16 lbs of body fat to add a step of explosion. Then the ravens next phase of training is an expert trainer that works with the strength trainer to help the new muscle fire and incorporate flexibility in the muscle. This trainer specialises in flexibility, core strength and central nervous system activating firing fast twitch muscle fiber. To ensure the player remains and even increases flexibility in the new muscle and power and core strength. Players like jj watt and Ryan Kerrigan incorporate this level of training and nutrition to get their games at optimal levels. Kerrigan acknowledges if not for his intense training and nutrition he would not be a double digit sack artist. One thing he is missing however is the specialized training that activates the central nervous system to fire fast twitch muscle and the flexibility and core training. Adam Archuletta took his vertical from 27" to 40" with his phases of training/nutrition,central nervous system activating fast twitch muscle training. That kind if increase is unheard of. He would not of been nfl caliber at all if not for his intense training. Think what a premier athlete like Kufusi and Henry could do with intense and scientific training and strict nutrition?? Those guys would be all pro!! Campanaro is following similar training to Archuletta this offseason. (Different program but some of the same principles) Will Henry and Kufusi are hard workers!! I'm sure those guys will be very interested in training and nutrition to be better players. Although combine measurables are just that. Measurables. Players should periodically test his vertical and broad jumps as well as 40 yard times, splits and shuttle times and weight lifting reps and numbers to track their increased speed, power, flexibility and explosion while packing on muscle and losing fat. In my opinion ravens will be doing and taking steps that rivals are not!! Ravens would be setting trends and getting individual players to play to their max optimal potential much like Jerry rice and watt. Watt is rumored to ask clown to train, eat and practice technique and watch film with him and told him he could be the best defensive player ever. Clown told watt he appreciated the offer but said he is good with his routines. And said he is not ready yet to train, practice and eat like watt. I would bet that Stanley Henry Kufusi Dixon and Correa would be excited at such an offer!! I heard Moore wants to be a more fluid and sudden route runner and stronger at breaking tackles and is interested in intense training routines and could be hooking up witn campanaro or even has already. Have to like players coming in and looking to work harder, get faster and stronger and wanting to be great players. Players like Kufusi could get his game speed to 4.7 range by leaning out while adding some muscle and power. He could really be a freak of a player. What are some thoughts on ravens being trendsetters and winners. Raiders dominated Vikings in super bowl through cheating however. Their strength and dominance over Vikings great defensive players was a primary reason winning the game. However ravens would be using legal strategy within league rules. Kufusi Henry and Correa would terrorize opposing qbs. Those guys are players and already have a lot of talent and skill to maximize.
  13. Forsett will be the top guy going in preseason and probably the regular season. However he is turning 31 I believe it is and there are 2 young talented runners in Dixon and Allen. TW has not impressed anybody. Dixon and Allen will begin to win more carries. Both run with speed power and are really good receivers. Dixon will be stallion by midseason with Allen getting some touches. Dixon can stand to add a little muscle and lean out just a little to max his power/burst. But he already runs witn good suddenness and power for his size. Dixon/Allen are not track stars but have competitive speed to break off long runs.the tandem has very competitive 4.5 game speed. Dixon I believe is the #1 cuz of his instincts and skills to create. Trent In my opinion is not the same guy in the nfl as he was in college.Allen although not a pure power runner could probably add some muscle and play at close to 230 without losing his speed and suddenness to punish tacklers a little and give the offense some attitude. Jensen will be a fine at left guard and can maul almost as well as KO. It is very important Stanley adds some muscle for run blocking. 7-10 lbs of muscle by playoff time is very realistic. Overall he could use 14-16 lbs of muscle with much of it on his upper body to spring the run game. So by playoff time Buck Allen and Dixon will be getting the bulk of carries with difference making receiving skills
  14. Ramsey never enamored me. His best fit is probably strong safety. He never showed ball skills to excel at free safety. But he could be a very rare talent at strong safety. But in my opinion tavon shows more ball skills than Ramsey. And I'm more disappointed we did not land Reshard Robinson. He is the best cornerback in the draft. He has Richard Sherman like skills but probably not quite as intelligent as Sherman. If Tunsil lights it up and Ron Stanley fails to get stronger in his upper body will haunt the ravens far more than Ramsey. Do not take it the wrong way. Ron Stanley is a better natural left tackle with natural technique to generate power. But his upper body needs more muscle and strength to reach his potential. Especially in the nfl now.
  15. When will that contract expire?? I would be in favor of trading a draft pick for a competent 3 down lb. Mosley At mlb Correa at olb and somebody like Willis or Bowman, anybody that is a 3down hard hitting LB would be pretty awesome. Correa is going to be an awesome lb that excels at blitzing. He has the athleticism and speed to at least be good at zone cover responsibilities. Correa could be an ilb but is better at olb in a 4-3. Where his blitzing will give teams big problems cuz TEs would not be able to handle him.
  16. Tavon is more than just a slot cornerback. He can cover outside as well. He may be designated at slot but ravens will learn he can play outside as well as slot. He is just a touch behind vh3 as best smallish cornerback in the draft.
  17. Should of drafted jatavis Brown to play weak side. A. Brown could be good at weak side backer. Are any lbs candidates to be cut or traded?? Would Willis consider coming out of retirement??
  18. The ravens could run a lot of 4-3. In that case I would guess Correa plays olb and Brown or somebody cut will play weak side olb. Mosley and Correa will be a fine tandem at mlb and strong side lb. Fast to drop in coverage and great blitzers. Weak side olb could be the position up for grabs
  19. Lots of stars /planets but I dunno cuz conditions to line up are very long and slim. I have thoughts on aliens that I touched on pretty loud in my book/play that I'm waiting for copyright to finally complete. It is a very unique take on aliens and that particular take has never been inked into a book or story b4.
  20. ĐWhile I like Dixon a lot!! my favorite pick is will Henry. He is powerful explosive flexible and lives in the gym at only 20 yrs old. He reminds me a little of Geno Atkins one of my top3 players and projected draft steals of all time. He is a gym warrior like Atkins. However he needs to focus his energy on functional football muscle through nutrition like Atkins. This means tons of CALF and leg work and stretching. Focus on shoulders wrists and core in his upper bod. And pack on about 15 lbs of symmetrical functional muscle from his calves thighs, shoulders, core, forearms and triceps. While cutting about 10-16 lbs of fat. Atkins is fanatical about optimal muscle to fat ratio for max power, flexibility and burst. He definitely has the drive to do it. Because I heard he is a total gym addict!! I would like to refer him to some Maryland trainers that are world renowned muscle building trainers/nutritionists as well as a functional strength/flexibility trainer that incorporates lots of high tech martial arts training. As well as the marinovich program that focuses on activating fast twitch muscle (same training Troy polamalu turned to after he felt injuries took some of his explosion.it was actually early in his career. Troy says he would never of played at all Pro level in his late 20s if not for marinovich program helping strengthen and activate fast twitch muscle and avoid nagging injuries) Olympic wrestlers use it because it strengthens muscles needed to engage and control opponents. Will Henry has raw skills and relentless workout warrior. He is a definite candidate to sharpen his edges and learn how to max his hard work. He could be a double digit sack player in the same category of Atkins/Donald. Strong as a nosetackle yet explosive as a LB. Dixon could benefit from similar training/nutrition and maybe even be the best running back in the draft. Nutrition and steady protein intake is sadly ignored by majority of nfl players to maximize workouts. Ravens should be the first team to choreograph an intense scientific workout for every individual player as well as strict nutrition to maximize the training routine. It would be very innovative and light years beyond what rival teams do. Ravens focused on work ethic and love for the game and the desire to be great. So help the players maximize their workouts to a new level beyond what any rival team is doing. It will give the ravens an edge as a team. Shannon Sharpe was considered to small for TE and to slow for WR. So he maximized his muscle and power and body fat for optimal speed through hard training and fanatical nutrition to gain enough muscle to be a functional blocker while maintaining speed similar to a WR. He acknowledges he would never of been nfl caliber much less hall of fame if not for maxing his muscle and speed through nutrition and target muscle to fat ratio. McCrary the same thing. Ray Lewis credits Shannon Sharpe for taking his game to an extra gear through nutrition to add muscle while maintaining speed.
  21. Waller is a scrub. He will never be a good receiver. i never liked him!! He looks like he runs routes in high heels. He is being moved to TE cuz he will never be a good receiver. Forget his rookie year. Chris Moore will be better than him now. If you watch games he ran over the middle but was not targeted he ran sharp sudden flexible routes. So he has a complete skillset to mold
  22. I do not know much about higbee's drama. Only that he runs like a receiver even while bulking up. And Demarcus Robinson has really grown up!! There is even a YouTube video with him and a couple of his trainers showing how hard he works now. And being a great player is very important to him. He was 18-19 yrs old with that drama. The dude is very very determined to let his play do the talking. He is hellbent on being a better athlete and refined receiver!! His raw talent is similar to Diggs and Cooper. He is going to be a steal. Besides you can't have all choir boys. Every championship team has players with character as well as characters. Even T.O. in his prime his attitude was tolerable cuz his play justified it. Billick even made a play for T.O. And the ravens got screwed on that deal. And T.O was lowballed lol
  23. While I like this draft for most part. But Ozzies first 5 yrs really is overrated. Ogden was a great pick. But Lewis was very lucky. Ravens were going to draft whatever linebacker fell to them. Ravens needed linebackers desparately!! Then Ozzie hit on some picks a rock could of hit on. Peter Boulwsre stood out as a no brainer. McAlister again ravens were going best cornerback available. Starks was not a good pick. He blended well and played one good year on the superbowl team but that was it. There were 2 cornerbacks drafted round2 that far outperformed him!! Then Travis was a reach and terrible pick. While Jamal Lewis was great for a couple yrs there was a great running back on the roster. Priest Holmes I liked better than lewis. He was a better all around back Ravens would of been better served using that pick on Plaxico Buress, defensive player or oline player. With a dominant bookend to Ogden or legit #1 WR ravens likely would of repeated the championship. Then outside of adalius the ravens did not draft any elite players after round1 from 96-2000. A couple gems round2-4 and again a repeated championship. Then take into account that superbowl team was not built through the draft only. There were many splash free agent signings as well. A lost art of late by ravens. While I'm against senseless shopping sprees. Ozzies mentor taught him calculated impact signings was a tool for building a championship team. Even the patriots added Revis. He was very instrumental in ravens offensive stall in second half of their playoff victory. If you do not sign an impact player "in his prime"once in a while you are at a disadvantage because rivals are drawing talent from this resource. I do really like this draft class. I like Ron Stanley over Tunsil but not completely. Ron Stanley is close to Tunsil and that is with Tunsil roided up and a far stronger and matured upper body. Give Stanley that kind of muscle maturity and he would be better than Tunsil. But with that said, he actually has to work to build the muscle. Not go through the motions in the weight program but really hit the weights hard and take in protein/nutrition and supplements needed for muscle and strength gains!! Ron Stanley needs at least 12-14lbs of legit functional muscle in his upper body and core to play at his peak or he could struggle in the nfl. He has the higher ceiling but he has to really hit the weights and cross training to hit his potential. If he hits the training and nutrition he will be better than Tunsil. If not then Tunsil could outperform him. And if that happens friends, Ravens management will get roasted like never b4!!
  24. If you watch games where he is not the target. He actually is very sudden and shifty in his cuts and explodes out of breaks.
  25. A little more athletic Patrick Kerney. Similar bend to Cameron Jordan for a big guy. I looked at him and said edge player. He is not an interior player. It would help him to lose 16-20lbs of bad weight then pack on 10-14 lbs of muscle to play at a stronger leaner explosive 270-280. He could get his game speed to about 4.70-4.75. He has the opportunity to be a real freak in games!! You could be right about Correa playing the edge with some coaching but my opinion (long explanation) he will struggle agsinst nfl tackles at the line. However he would make a great 4-3 olb in the Bruce Irvin mold but better physicality/intelligence than irvin. He has the skills to excel in coverage and a game changing blitzer. Much like the way the ravens used Peter Boulware b4 McCrarys knee problems and Boulware took over at defensive end. Ron Stanley, once he hits an nfl strength program he is going to be multi time all pro T young At very least a poor man's Malcolm Butler. Not sure anybody saw it but after one big play early he completely shut down one of the most dynamic receivers in the game. Frustrated Beckham and at times dominated him. Similar attitude, physicality, ball skills, fiestyness as Malcolm Butler. Will Henry. Iknow Florida tried really hard to recruit him. Rated him one of most underrated recruits in the country!! And if you saw him decimate their oline you know Florida was correct to want him bad!! In my opinion Nkemdiche was the freak of the draft. Will Henry is very close. How many tackles can shed and Chase Running backs and mobile QBs while taking on 2 gaps/blockers and not get pushed back?? He plays like Atkins who I really really liked in 2010!! One of my favorites of all time. If he has Atkins work ethic he will be just as awesome!! Alex Lewis. Competitive blocker but one pick I did not really like very much. I mean if he packs on some functional symmetrical muscle he could be an impact guard or even Tackle. But I did not really care much for the pick because of all the impact talent available. There is Demarcus Robinson,Reshard Robinson, Ridgeway, Malcolm mitchell, Tyler higbee, jatavis Brown. Ravens have history of drafting oline players outbof nowhere that do not work out. If these dudes played at an impact level it could justify such a pick. But these obscure oline players like Reid do not work out. Ravens decided to ignore some players with impact player skills to mold to draft this guy. Chris Moore do not get me wrong I like this pick. He has the skills to run fast sudden routes. He has skills to be more than a one trick pony. However there were more polished receivers that runs explosive routes with similar speed and big play skills. Demarcus Robinson and Malcolm Mitchell I liked a little better. However I do like this pick. He has big play skills like Torrey but attacks the ball much better and has demonstrated flexible hips and sudden routes. However he will need to be coached on routes and timing but he has the tools. So ravens can scrap Butler, Waller and Matthews. He has the skills to eclipse Aiken as well. Would be cool to see him get coached up to a complete WR. He With Campanaro and Perriman could be quite a trio that dbacks would not be able to cover. If Perriman and Moore could be coached up to complete receivers and campanaro play injury free this could be a young explosive trio!! Throw in a reshaped Maxx, Kenneth Dixon and Buck Allen with Watson playing in 2TE formations with a dominant oline and ravens have some rare talent on offense. I would prefer to see the young guys make the leap to impact players than a retread like Mike Wallace play. I'm not crazy about Judon or the naval academy qb pick. I liked talent available in round4. Ravens picked 5 times. However it would of been cool to have 8 or 9 picks in round 3 and round4.
