As always an open invitation anybody that wants to meet up or come to a party/gathering at my house. I have friends and co workers over every away game. To be honest I do not care what people trust or think from behind a keypad. My friends would never and have never completely judged anybody from behind a keypad. Which makes them more credible than 99% of members that do not trust them.

Ogden did not play guard from not being able to play tackle. There was already a vet pro bowl left tackle. It was impressive Ogden looked so good at a position he never played before. Do you believe he would not of been a stand out left tackle as a rookie?? While being standout in 3 games is not realistic for every future all pro, By the end of season 1 there is usually a very good idea.

Taking flack or whatever you call it is accountability to me. Shoot an email to anybody on my Facebook page and and ask to describe my personality. You will get I do not like making mistskes, I beat myself up over mistakes and always try to correct mistakes. And I do not like to be wrong. lol but in a good way. I state my favorite flavors every draft. And I'm behind the players I like. And if I'm wrong I welcome the taunting i receive from family friends and co workers. Most people trust what I say so naturally I get some flack when I'm wrong. A lot actually. Bubbly friends know I'm harder on myself than anybody else is. As for not posting or not watching games. Not hard to do lol. I do not post during summer anyways. From about memorial day to labor. And when ravens are losing I do not watch the game anyways. When ravens are not going to be contenders the games are not as much fun and I do not watch all of the games. Trying to forecast players is part my geek side hobby part sneak preview of the season. I considered a thread of players members would of picked with each pick. Even state player You would trade up for and what you would offer. And late in football season the forum looks at it to reflect back on how the players perform. Then after couple seasons the members can legitimize support and criticism of management's decisions. Just for fun and members need to remain mature about it and not gloat to much if you are correct and be humble and mature about those who were wrong. After all it is just for fun. Theres a couple players i wanted ravens to get but i liked the ravens draft overall. My fav ravens draft in a good while.

Wouldn't you prefer keeping young in house talent over aging free agents looking for a contract at 30+??

To be honest it would be really cool around here for a little accountability on any of the sides. Agree with management and if you do not agree with management. I state my favorite flavors every draft. I been reading this board for years but just began posting last year. And I ask for accountability here and from my friends. Last year I took a lot of flack for saying Ron Darby would be the best cornerback in the draft. And Lockett will eventually be close to Antonio Brown or as good. I liked Hunter and Grady a lot as well. Those guys along with Diggs and lockett were my favorites. This yr I like Henry better than Grady. Reshard Robinson will be in the running for best cornerback in the draft. WR to close to call this yr. My pick is Demarcus Robinson. If he is not the best he will be one of the best and for a round 4 pick can't argue if is in the same league as round1 players. Best edge rushers I'm going with Bosa and Spence. Not to say i do not like ravens picks. Chris Moore has more raw skill than many of the receivers drafted before him. T. Young is more than just a slot cornerback. He is going to be a very very good cornerback in all phases. Kufusi has a chance to be special. A little extra burst of speed through dropping some bad weight and a little more power through adding a little muscle and a lot of coaching up and he could be a really productive edge rusher that teams have to game plan for. Correa I like to learn coverage and scheme technique and he should be a fast punishing 3down LB that excels at blitzing.

Not on the internet. Just rumors I heard that I believe. Same sources that I heard KO left on bitter terms and felt oline was not appreciated. And same sources that say biscotti likes Ozzie personally and his job is completely safe. However, just speculation on their part. But biscotti could replace Ozzies assistant. But just an educated speculation. I referring to trading up in general not being a mistake. I knew falcons traded a lot but not all that. Trading up is relevant to the draft and who is available. This draft I would of considered trade next yrs round1 pick for a round 3 and pair of round4 picks in this draft. With all the good players in round4 that have round1 traits. Like Reshard and Demarcus Robinson, higher and Ngakoue. That would really be a mid round run!! Ngakoue,Kufusi,young, Henry,Dixon,Reshard Robinson,Demarcus Robinson, and not of drafted lewis. It would be cool for him to be good but ravens have a history of picking obscure tackles that bewilders everybody then amount to nothing like reid

But I never once said I would give up 3 round1 picks for mack. Or what Brown's shelled out for jones. I said ravens should of traded the round1-3 picks or 2 round 1 picks. My opinion Mack will be the best defensive player in the nfl this yr. Maybe the best player overall. And will be compared to Taylor as an all time great defensive player.I loved Mack in the draft cuz he reminded me of my fav ravens defensive player ever. Peter Boulware. If not for injuries he would be ravens sack leader. Many fans forget how awesome Boulware is at his best injury free!! Spence reminds me a little of Boulware. That is one player I wanted ravens to draft. He and Reshard Robinson round4. And Demarcus Robinson I liked to in round4. I like Chris Moore to. I just hope Moore plays as well as Robinson. I'm pulling for Wallace to be a bust and Chris Moore to be a draft Steal as a rookie. So ravens have young stud receivers to build a juggernaut. Sometimes I believe you are drunk when you post. Cuz you imply things thst are not said. Overall you may not know more but it is watching athletes perform. Anybody could end up being a better judge. No different from anything else. Some people are naturally better. Just like driving, computer hacking, carpentry,bodybuilding,modeling.You can drive for years and a new driver is better. Just like rookies that outperform vets. Just like talented scouts and coaches are held back. In football. In every draft since 2010 I would compare ravens picks to players i wanted. My current job couple yrs back a total moron overlooked me for a promotion. I knew I was better. But this ditzy moron thought her fellow moron was better. Long story short. Less than 2 yrs later I was begged by corporate to train the people for the position I went for. So the best for a position is not always the one hired. Am I saying I could be a gm. Of course not!! But when I decide on a particular player good or bad. I'm right 99% of the time. However I could never make judgements on 100s of players in one draft. which is essential for a scout/gm. Fans are correct over gms quite often!! Most gms are there cuz he played before or was family of somebody to give him a shot. Some GMs thought Gore and Johnson could still be impact players and played big $$ lol

Majority of this board doesn't agree with just about EVERY move front office makes?? of course, it comforts people to think decosta made the right moves cuz then it can be accepted ravens will contend for a championship. Fact ravens just finished 5-11. And were losing games with ss, flacco,forsett. So the injury excuse is not plausible. If ravens have a good year it will be cuz of this draft class. Players like Kufusi, Henry,Dixon,correa,young, and moore. Not a 37 yr old we coming off achilles,Suggs coming off achilles again,forsett.

common when big guys are juiced. If Ron Stanley can build even close to that kind of muscle maturity he would be the best left tackle in the league!! Except his legs and hips are naturally bigger and stronger and more symmetrical to his upper bod. So he will play with better balance,not top heavy

You guys seem oblivious to ravens just finished 5-11. Some people accept mediocrity. Again not the entire future. 3Draft picks in one draft. 2 defensive players coming off average years and a below average TE. The player ravens could of won everybody is picking him to be the best defensive player in the game this yr. Likely an all time great. He is a top 3 edge rusher,elite agsinst the run and can cover as well as any lb in the game. But particular dedicated fans are going to say ravens management makes all the right decisions. Mack could get 30 sacks and unanimous league mvp this year while Mosley/jernigan again struggle and it was the right decision to not trade up for him. The 3 #1 picks is ludicrous. Look up info there were legit negotiations. Do you believe there would of even been any talks if the price was 3 round1 picks?? You would never have heard about any interest or trade talks. Management is not going to say the asking price cuz it would make them look terrible!! If it was ridiculous asking price it would be public.

All those players are replaceable. Depth comes a dime a dozen. Mediocre players, ravens have to much of that!! People believe whatever comforts them. Apparently role players are more important than cornerstones now that the ravens do not have any cornerstones. And Falcons did not believe the team was a wr from a championship. It was an opportunity to draft a rare wr. Every fan to comfort themselves into believing impact players are not as important as depth now that the ravens have none like to point out the Jones trade. Let's look at the team that gave up the pick for jones. Depth really helped them. And the trade was 5 yrs ago!! That trade is not the reason the Falcons sucked. Falcons have screwed dozens of picks since that trade. Let's look at not making the trade. Ravens did not trade up for mack. Ravens were 5-11 with no impact players. But injuries..... believe whatever comforts you. Wait ravens should have depth to handle injuries cuz management did not trade a round1-3 pick for Mack. Let's see what happens this yr.

So the Falcons are a bad team cuz of trading for julio?? Who did Cleveland get in return?? You could just as easily argue the trade made the browns terrible!! For the record the Falcons have not been a bad team cuz of the trade. Falcons struggled for several yrs cuz of screwing up with their draft picks since that. Why is it people talk as if when you trade up for a player you do not get any draft picks at all for several more years?? It was 2 round1 picks or roumd1-3. Mack came from a smaller school and was not as touted. So the asking price was reasonable. Oz and Decosta do not like to pull the trigger on trades. Very conservative!! Attempted to get back into round1 with a round pick. Ravens trade up attempts failed again. Do you think it's conceivable with all these failed trade up attempts that oz and eric will not part with what is necessary to move up?? Failed again to get back into round1 and round2. Not that I'm complaining cuz I liked the talent available in round4 in this draft. Ravens could of traded for mack and still have picks. It is not like the cost was 3 complete drafts!! Look at the redskins. Traded up for an overhyped qb that has no clue how to play the position and it costed 3 round1 picks. Yet redskins were a playoff team this year. Because management were smart with remaining picks and contracts!! But people talk as redskins do not have any picks at all cuz of that trade. Ravens not having any picks for role players if the team traded up for Mack is a ridiculous idea. But i get it. Most of this board will say or imply whatever it needs to frame the idea that every move by management is the right decision. Many here attempt to call Upshaw a good pick lol

It really is a tough call who is going to be the best rookie. Will Henry will eventually be a top 5 penetrator or better. I heard geno atkins was lobbying for him. He is very motivated to be the strongest most explosive tackle in the league. Although I'm disappointed ravens did not get the Robinsons in round4 and Spence in round2 this is the best draft in yrs!! While I like the Ron Stanley pick I will feel better once he begins to look like he is packing on muscle.lol Kufusi is a player that will be playing a different position. At his best play weight and muscle to fat ratio he could be a double digit sack producer. Dropping about 16-20lbs then packing on 10-13 lbs of muscle would do so much for him at rush old or 4-3 defensive end!! I mean really he could be an awesome force!! He is a good athlete especially for nearly 6' 7!! Has anybody realized he is as big and more explosive and productive than Buckner?? He is already more muscular and leaner than buckner. Somebody really needs to talk with him cuz if he leaned out and packed on a little muscle his potential is enormous!! T. Young and Dixon have skills to be really good rookies. Chris Moore is behind a lot of receivers but has all the skills to be a very good wr as a rookie. Tough call but the best draft by ravens in yrs. Not crazy about judon or Lewis

Depth players are a dime a dozen. Khalil Macks and jj watts can transform your defense by themselves. Mosley struggling in coverage is a big deal!! Have you noticed how much the league is throwing the ball?? I do believe he can and will get better. But slow down before calling them cornerstones anywhere near the caliber of Mack!! I like jernigans potential but in 2 yrs now he has flashed. He has not climbed to impact player status yet. Urschel was not overrated he struggled a little on snapping until he adjusted. By week 16 he was standing out as a mauler. If ravens made that move for mack this whole board would be singing praises for obtaining him. Not clamoring for who the backup and role players are. A player like Mack makes players around him better. As for the superbowl run the oline dominated.

It was not 3 round1 picks!! it was 2 no.1 picks or round1-3 picks in that draft. By the time Mack hits free agency Weddle Will be retired!! And Jimmy probably cut by then. If ravens drafted Mack then an emphasis would of been on cornerbacks this draft. Not edge rushers. So you do not want khalil mack cuz you have to pay him??

Do not want him to just get by. Dominating while protecting Joe Cool as well as run game has huge impact on the game. It takes the rivals confidence as well as tires them out and springs big runs!! Which in turn will not allow the defense to sell out stopping Joe cool. Not to mention if the defensive line is worrying about getting dominated then his attention is not completely on tackling the running back, pressuring Joe Cool or trying to keep up with reading strategy. At no. 6 overall Ron Stanley needs to ge an anchor. Not somebody you gameplan around to help with things he can not do well. And I do believe he will add muscle and get in better shape to supplement his natural skills. Castillo is a big advocate of being stronger than your opponent really helps you control your opponent. Being no.6 overall and reps riding on Ron Stanley I would bet coaching will get to work pretty fast to design programs to get Ron Stanley stronger and in better shape.

I would trade Jimmy and Weddle for mack. By time he hits free agency ravens will not have players like Suggs Yanda Weddle Dumervil on the books. How are we stuck with hurst. 2 round1 picks?? Ravens would have Ron Stanley this year. And unless Wagner really lights it up this yr right tackles are played less than guards. He is one player the ravens should be able to resign

Only player I ever liked in that bunch is Davis. I do yet like his potential. Never cared for Elam Kindle or Brooks. Cody I take it you mean terrance cody?? Dan Cody I liked. But mount cokehead I never liked at all!! Then he turned out be garbage

Jernigan Henry and Kufusi could be part of a really good 4 player front. Henry is a lot like Atkins. Very focused on getting stronger and faster. Kufusi could gain a step of burst and power by losing the bad weight to get faster for edge rusher position. and adding a little muscle. Potentially could be as good as Jared Allen. Correa would be awesome at olb blitzing on occasion with speed to cover and play all 3 downs. Not sure if Suggs is interested in coaching up young talent.

Don't know much about next yrs class. Just know Carl Lawson looks like Mack and he was the only edge rusher to give Tunsil trouble. If this class of edge rushers do not show serious promise the ravens will need to make a move for an elite edge rusher in the draft. I liked the idea of moving up for Daneel Hunter. He has a lot of raw tools to coach up. Mack played for a smaller school so the asking price from the raiders was not to crazy. Mack could be a raven. But Management is far to conservative for a move
