  1. I'm not even concerned or interested in another draft. The past few years has been incredibly boring and does nothing to "shake" anything up. Plus, we've already seen SD members on Raw and vice versa. Brands don't mean quite as much as they used to. Plus, why don't we see who gets the axe before we worry about a draft.

Also, Vince McMahon is apparently extremely angry over Sin Cara's near botched entrance on Raw. Once again, he barely managed to clear the top rope. I don't think it's so much his fault as it is whoever is sliding the trampoline out from under the ring. Then there was that top rope botch before Cara hit that suplex.

  2. In FCW news... Former NXT Diva Rookies AJ Lee and Aksana faced off and Aksana beat AJ for the FCW Divas Title. I guess this means AJ is going to be up to the main roster soon. This certainly will be a good thing as AJ can wrestle so if she comes up along with Awesome Kong, the Divas Division will be improved. Plus I get to see AJ again....

Well, apparently Awesome Kong is going to show up on FCW soon, as they're showing promos for her arrival. So I doubt we'll see her on the main roster anytime soon.

  3. Apparently, "Superstar" Billy Graham is, to put it mildly, upset that the WWE inducted Abdullah The Butcher into the WWE Hall of Fame. He went so far as to call Abdullah a "bloodthirsty animal" and the WWE Hall of Fame "worthless" and "disgustingly embarrassing" before demanding to be removed from the Hall. Also, Billy was, again "upset" at Chris Jericho, who commented on Graham's statements on the Benoit Murder-Suicide in his latest book. Graham said:

"Jericho, you have made a huge mistake. You call me an egotistical idiot. If you walked by right now, I would beat the living hell out of you, then spit on your grave for trying to destroy my reputation in your phony little book"

All Chris said in reply was "God bless him and best of luck in all he does in the future.".

Billy Graham needs to chill out. He's 67, and I doubt anyone would be physically intimidated by him anymore. The man's already said his Hall of Fame ring on eBay, so why not grant the man his wish.

  4. Only difference is, I'm not sure how many hardcore fans would really feel as badly about Hardy's downfall compared to Scott Hall. I can see myself shedding a tear for Scott Hall when he passes away, drug-related or not. Hardy, on the other hand, not so sure.

Plus, with Hall, we've seen how difficult his battles with his addiction has been. Fact of the matter is, Hall has tried to kick his habits. Hardy, meanwhile, hasn't seemed to have shown that same desire to get better; Vince offered him so many second chances and forced him to get help, and Hardy walked away and did his own thing each time.

As will I. I've always liked Hall, ever since his Razor Ramon days. Which makes it so much harder to accept that unless Hall manages to get clean and stay clean, he might be the next major death in the industry. Especially after seeing that video.

  5. It was reported earlier this week that Scott Hall had apparently relapsed and checked into a treatment facility or hospital. His agent said it wasn't an overdose but "extremely low blood pressure."

Well, unfortunately, his agent was probably lying.

Hall was booked to work a show in Massachusetts yesterday and showed up in no condition to work. He fell asleep during an autograph signing and had to be helped into the ring and out of the ring. He even insisted on getting involved in a match, and clearly wasn't himself.

There's more footage to be found elsewhere, but this is a condensed version of some of the key moments. It's really disturbing and sent a chill down my spine. It's as if we're seeing a man about to die. (LINK)

If his agent is indeed lying, it'd be a shame. Not just because of the man's condition, but how just the other week he said he wouldn't be at Shawn's induction because he didn't think he was ready to be put into that sort of environment.

  6. Sin Cara is currently listed on WWE.com's Raw roster, he's probably just appearing on SD to garner more attention is all. After all, the WWE is pretty high on him.

If the WWE brought back the Cruiserweight title, it wouldn't hold a candle to the title scene back in WCW... which would sadden me.

  7. I'm sorry, but Santino's Cobra isn't very amusing anymore. I feel bad for those who have to get "laid out" by such a move.

You know, part of me wishes Santino would end up being part of "spring cleaning". His reputation is ruined by being a comedy act for years. Now that the luster of his comedy has worn off, he's just irritating me.

  8. Trish will always be my #1 Diva

I prefer blonde Trish to brunette Trish. Don't get me wrong, she still looks amazing, but I have a preference for blondes (even though my girl is a brunette lol). The only diva who comes close to Trish is Maryse, if we're going by looks :P

  9. Yeah, that's why I was wondering... it looked like a bad hit, especially considering he had no helmet and there was no padding in that area.

I'm not squeamish and don't cringe typically, but seeing his head bounce off the floor did make me cringe. I mean, his head bounced off the floor like a ball, there's no way that couldn't hurt like a son of a.

  10. It's more courtroom drama and conspiracies than suspense and action. Still better than most American movies.

I also forgot to mention that the third one has the least amount of boobs in it. That's also why it's my least favorite.

You sold me on watching the first two and avoiding the third. Thank you, sir.

  11. Speaking of concussions, what do you think of The Miz returning so soon to action after apparently sustaining one? Doesn't the WWE have an obligation to make sure there aren't more serious issues or do you think The Miz had the requisite tests, MRI, etc.?

I'm sure Miz had the tests that needed to be done, I don't think Vince or the WWE would let that nasty hit go unchecked. Truth be told, I didn't even notice Miz's head bounce off the concrete while it happened in real time... not until Miz pointed it out on Raw. You have to give props to the man for coming back to the ring in any capacity to finish the match.

  12. P.S. Sin Cara is going to be amazing to watch.

Agreed completely. Guess he'll be on Smackdown friday too. Can't wait. They're also expecting him to climb up the ranks fairly quickly, so that leaves me to wonder how long it will be until he's United States champion.

I'm with you on the big boots, there's some nasty ones there. But dropkicks, just like Orton's punt are pulled so they don't hit with full power. And especially with the newer punts, you can see that he pulls it. He doesn't even stretch his leg out.

The thing with boots, punches, dropkicks and punts is that when you get hit, you can turn your head so that the hit connects at an angle and "brushes" off. There are of course some that really connect, this is a contact "sport" after all.

Just watch Cena get hit, then you can see a man that overacts the pull :P

Of course it's pulled... just like a chair shot is. Again, I'm not saying they're not dangerous, but Orton's punt isn't that much safer. He pulls it (just like every punch, aside from maybe Show's Knockout Punch), just like chair shots are pulled.

  13. I'm with you ATD. There's definitely a double standard in the WWE... have they seen some of the missile dropkicks these guys perform? What about the 6-1-9? Big boots?

Yes, a metal chair can be far more dangerous, but I don't think you can fine for one offense, and not another.

Precisely, I'm not saying they should make any and all hits to the "head, face, or neck" illegal and punishable by fines or suspensions. However, you also have to realize that even the most simple and frequently performed moves can go wrong when when party either forgets a spot, gets lost for a second, or is inexperienced. Like when Owen Hart paralyzed Stone Cold with that one piledriver. Or when this happened:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOjN2LmAiF8

I'm not in favor of watering down move sets and cutting out certain moves. What I am in favor of is making sure upcoming, young wrestlers are one hundred percent trained and confident in wrestling. I'm not saying these new guys are not properly trained or that everyone should be jumping off the top, hitting corkscrew splashes or something. But education can go along way in the industry, even if it won't eliminate the "luck" factor when it comes to injuries.

Again, I'm not saying they should just allow everyone to hit everyone else with chairs or piledriver men through tables.

  14. Randy barely hits people when he punts them.

A direct chairshot to the skull was banned for the same reason NFL banned helmet to helmet contact. Too many hits to the head will eventually cause permanent damage, and that's something everybody should respect.

Undertaker will most likely go 20-0 and then retire from in-ring competition. Although I think he was working the injury at WM to make it look like he was totally beat up, he does have a lot of injuries and do need some surgery.

I also read something about his rotator cuff(iirc) that couldn't be fully repaired, even with surgery.

I'm sorry, but have you seen some of his punts (aKa some of the slow motion replays? He's not "barely" touching them. Is it a full blown kick? No, but it's still trauma directly to the head.

Guys like Undertaker and Triple H know how to choreograph chair shots so they're not as damaging as they appear. It's the same reason the piledriver was "banned". However, have you noticed that Undertaker and Kane are the only two (prior to sunday's one by Triple H) who are allowed to perform it in really any variation (The Tombstone)? Because they know how to perform it safely because of how long they've been doing it. Is it as often or prevalent as it once was for the two men? No, but it still occasionally happens. Am I saying any veteran should be allowed to run around hitting and taking chair shots? No, but these two men have been in the industry for a combined 44 years and the magnitude of the match was astounding. So do forgive me if I expect the WWE to allow just a little leeway to these two men in such a big match.

  15. Okay... so Randy Orton can get a running start and kick people in the head, but you're not allowed to hit people in the head with a chair? We all know there are "safe" ways of taking a chair shot, ways that I'm sure both men are aware of, just as there are "safe" ways for taking Orton's punt. Annoying.

  16. Y2J vs. The Undertaker -- MAKE IT HAPPEN! Sure, we had that one-off singles match on SmackDown a couple of years ago, but that doesn't count. We've never seen these two wrestle in a significant match, and I believe that, if there was any active wrestler to send Taker off into the sunset with a win or loss in that final match, Y2J is more than capable of delivering the goods.

    Agreed onethousandfold.

  17. Cena is the last person I'd ever want to see end the Streak. He's big now, but he's not a legend like Triple H or the Undertaker. If the Streak will ever end, I can only ever see it happening in one of two ways:

    1) Another person on the scale of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, or Undertaker ends it.

    or

    2) Franny's said this before, but a young superstar ends it and gains a huge boost.

Cena fits into neither category. He's been around for a while, so how much additional attention would he really gain? It'd just be another reason for fans to become bored and annoyed with him and his "Superman" persona. And despite all the attention and belts he's had so far, he's not really on the same level as Triple H, HBK, or Taker, at least (and it pains me to say this) not yet.

  18. I've been avoiding the forums since I didn't get to watch WM until last night. However... I'm absolutely furious that the Undertaker won. Did I expect him to? Deep down I suppose I did, but Triple H should have come out on out. He destroyed the Taker, and I legitimately got chills when he set him up for the Tombstone, that is how the Streak should have came to an end. As for the finish, frequently it looked like Trips had Taker's shoulders down for a count or could have picked him up for a powerbomb. Despite that, I'll give them credit for the shot of Triple H finally tapping. Maybe I'm the only one, but that tap was perfect. It wasn't a tap like most you see, it wasn't of pain, anguish, or frustration. It was perfectly done though. I'll agree that I think Taker legitimately couldn't stand. However, I don't see it as "it's awesome that he still finished the match", it irks me. It really bothers me that we have to be subjected to this fragile, dare I say, old out of shape man getting absolutely demolished for 20 minutes and still beat a physical specimen like Triple H. Don't get me wrong, I respect Undertaker for everything and that he still has the passion and desire to go out there and put his body on the line. But snapping the Streak at 18 wouldn't have disregarded the massive "achievement" (as much as one can be in a "planned" sport) of an 18 match winning Streak. Did anyone else (since I haven't read everything people have said here) think Triple H injured his hand or wrist early on in the match? He seemed to be favoring it the entire match. Apparently, the WWE wants a rematch of the two for Wrestlemania XXVIII and if that happens... Triple H better win.

Also... Sin Cara quickly become one of my favorites last night. I loved his entrance, even if he didn't quite make it over the top rope when he jumped into the ring. He may not have showed too much last night, but he didn't have to. That leap off the top to Sheamus outside might not have been flashy, but the height was awesome. I'm not going to go and liken him to Mysterio, but if Cara doesn't relent, the WWE might actually have a real high flyer. Not those fakers Evan Bourne and the diminished ability of Mysterio. WWE Shop is selling a replica Sin Cara mask, I might buy it for... poops and giggles.

  19. When is Skip Sheffield supposed to return? I hope he joins Corre when he does. So Nexus has 5 and Corre has 5. Plus Corre would have 2 big power houses. So we have a Nexus vs. Corre set up soon. Hey who knows....maybe Skip returns tonight at WM to help Corre win?

Last I heard, the WWE thought Skip had face potential. So when he comes back, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go that route than end up with either faction, especially with the joke that is the "new" Nexus.

But yeah, I agree with Franchise, a loss at WM doesn't hurt the Undertaker's career at all. Shawn did say that he doesn't know if he "can let" Trips do what he couldn't, and I'll be furious if he interferes and costs Triple H the match.

  20. Some of us have already done our predictions, Wacko lol

I also hope Trips doesn't change his music. So really, I hope Metallica either covers "The Game" or even "King of Kings".

Edit: I guess the Trips-Taker Match is billed as "Nothing Else Matters"... soooo... As much as I love 'Tallica, I really don't think that fits Triple H at all. So I'm praying he doesn't come out to that.

  21. Anyone see Sucker Punch yet?

I haven't seen it, but I haven't heard good things about it either. Apparently it's been called "The Last Airbender" with bustiers.
