  1. Exactly. That is exactly why I am predicting Ted Dibiase as the Raw MITB winner because I knew the SD MITB brief case would have been cashed in on the same night and Ted is the one they will build up to a credible contender and legit champion when he actually does win.

Damn Kelly Kelly lost to the Beautiful People rip off known as Lay-Cool.

I'll be disgusted if DiBiase wins it. The man can't even have an original gimmick, he's not that impressive in the ring, or on the mic really. Hell, I wouldn't even pay attention to his promos if it weren't for Maryse being at his side. Having him win MitB would be a terrible idea.

  2. No love for Kane, Demon?

Not for years. Kane, like the Undertaker, isn't the least bit intimidating anymore. Also like Taker, his sense of "coolness" wore off a while ago to me. Not to mention, he's been midcard at best for quite a while lately, but that's not a bad thing, per se. He's done well with the younger talent on the roster. I mean, Kane's a huge step up (pun intended) over Mysterio as World Heavyweight Champion, but still. To me, Kane is far, far past main event status and World Championship status.

Smackdown's turned into the minor league of the two brands, which I'm not saying it's a bad thing. You have a lot of young talent, with some big name veterans on the roster. Should be a good chance to groom some up and comers though.

  3. I don't mean to soudn sexist, but I really think all the Divas should go to SD or RAW and just keep them all no one show so there can just be a division for them. Then they can combine Divas and Womens championship. I mean this may sound messed up, but I dont ever watch the Divas matches unless its "bra & panties" match :P. Plus IMO it'd make alot more sense to have ALL the divas on one show, so that there is a full division for them to compete in.

So you haven't watched a Divas match in how long?

  4. The tears there were nothing to compared to Raw the next night when Shawn gave his farewell speech. The whole thing was so heartfelt and personal, you could tell he was pouring out the feelings he kept up during his 20 plus year career. Then when Triple H came out... man, it was nice to see his best friend come out and tell him goodbye before "laying" DX to rest.

  5. I'm watching it now and it looked like he told him something about not retiring but I wasn't sure. What would have made the match better was if JR called the match. I don't get how Vince couldn't let JR call that one match.

Yeah, I couldn't tell exactly. Just from the body language and what appeared to be the words coming from Taker's mouth, that's what I thought he was saying.

  6. Well to many of his fans he is too classy as most of his fans believe he should get a title run that lasts longer than 24 hours. It's great he is helping out the young talent and putting them over, but I think it's time for Kane to win another title.

I also read that Mark Caloway(Undertaker's real name) actually suggested not only Kane to end the streak like he also suggested Orton be the one to end the streak when they faced off a few years back, but like Kane declined because Orton had so much respect for the Undertaker.

You would think that since he suggested two people to end the streak, that would show how much he cares about the Streak as much as Vince does. I'm sure he tried talk Shawn into being the one to end the streak and I'm sure like Kane & Orton, Shawn declined. The thing is Vince knows that if anyone would end the streak, whether they were worthy(like HBK) or not(a young star) of ending the streak fans would be upset and that it all goes back to money, Taker continues the streak means more money and more things they could do to make more money based off his streak alone. So many fans believe that is a streak that should never ever be broken.

JR did sign a new contract with the WWE but it's not a talent contract where he'll be announcing again on Raw or Smack Down, I think he is just going to be the head of the scouting area and finding young superstars to bring in the business like he found Jack Swagger. JR actually seems happier now that he is not announcing every week.

Kind of related to the bolded part, but at the end of Taker and Shawn's match at this year's WM, when Taker picked Shawn up after he won, did it sound to anyone else like Taker told Shawn "Don't do it", regarding retirement? Perhaps it was my mind playing tricks on me, since Shawn is my favorite wrestler of all time.

  7. what the hell is up with this Alberto Dl Rio guy his promo vids are boring as hell

I don't know either. I was watching Smackdown yesterday (since I don't get the channel at my house, I make my girlfriend DVR them), and I almost fastforwarded through his first promo since I couldn't even tell it was actually part of wrestling. Incredibly boring, his gimmick is supposed to be... an honest latino man? However, I'm sure he'll really just be a heel, who cheats to win. Sorry, I don't need a poor man's Eddie Guerrero

  8. I'm truly disappointed with SmackDown's MiTB contenders really. Cody Rhodes isn't main event status, and like Ted, hasn't even done much in the singles world. Matt Hardy is a fat, boring, shell of his former self. Truthfully, the WWE shouldn't have brought him back, let him go to TNA with his brother. Kane, I just can't see him as a World Heavyweight Champion anymore, he's in the twilight of his career and is much better in a supporting, mid-card role. Kofi, Big Show, and Christian are the only ones currently announced who I feel could win and actually deserve it. Hell, Big Show should already be World Heavyweight Champion. Mysterio as "World Champion" disgusts me.

I do agree about Christian, he should have been pushed long ago. His brother/best-friend/whatever-new-connection-WWE-Comes-Up-With Edge is a 9 time world champion, while Christian just sort of stagnates in WWE, never getting more than midcard championships. The guy wins two world championships in TNA then comes back to the WWE only to win the ECW Championship twice and then get stuck in the midcard again.

  9. I'll groan if Ted DiBiase wins MiTB. Only reason I look forward to his matches lately is so I can see Maryse. Honestly, I'd have The Miz win MiTB, at least he's won some singles titles. If Ted were to win, totally wouldn't be surprised to see him be the first MiTB winner to not win the title when he cashes it in.

  10. Yeah, Tyson Kidd. I want to take a trimmer to his head and just get rid of that little tuft of hair. WWE needs to have her beat down Tamina.

who would that be Tyson Kidd? I swear every post I read from you I see Avatar's face and read your posts in his voice lol

    That is absolutely awesome :D!

  11. Ted DiBiase is an upper-mid carder at best, in my opinion. Such a match would be completely anti-climatic to the Undertaker's "Wrestlemania Streak" story if it were his last WM match (especially if he lost to Ted). Triple H or Jericho would be the best bet. Even Orton would be better than Cena or DiBiase (not knocking Orton, I'm a big fan of his).

  12. Please god no to Cena. Personally, I find the Taker too old and frail looking to be as cool and as intimidating as he used to be. However, Cena should be no means be his opponent or end his streak. What does Cena have to gain from ending the Undertaker's streak? Nothing. There's no previous history there, like the Shawn Michaels/Taker match from this year, and he's already disgustingly over. It'd be pointless for him to end the streak. Not to mention, I don't want to watch ANOTHER predictable, boring Cena match. When Shawn Michaels lost to the Undertaker, it meant that no one will end his streak.
