  1. That's why I put the spoiler tags there.

From now on, NO SPOILERS for shows that have yet to air!

Granted, I know FF is behind on some weeks because he watches the shows on DVR, but it's much worse to ruin a show that has yet to air than a show that has already aired but someone isn't caught up on yet.

    You're the man, Franny.

I know FF's pain too, I've yet to watch this past SD! since I wasn't home and it's sitting on my DVR. The interwebs and it's dirt sheets are ruining the surprise and magic of professional wrestling! :P

  2. I didn't think Raw was that bad. I loved seeing Cena's/Jericho's/whoever's team falling apart, although it seems to bode at a Team Raw win at Summerslam, which I do not like. Nor do I like The Miz's attempt at cashing in his contract being interrupted, I'd love to see an Awesome WWE Champion. Oh well, as long as they do not make him the first to lose his match, I'm fine with it.

As for the idea of Khali joining Nexus, I hate the idea. He does not fit in one bit with the group. Instead of being The Nexus, it'd be more like "The Nexus... With the Great Khali". Regardless, I loved seeing Gabriel 450 Splash puny Evan Bourne.

  3. I don't think it's true since MVP and Rey Mysterio are still wearing gloves.

If it's true, though, this should only affect a handful of guys (no pun intended). We'll see tonight if it's true if Michael Tarver, Goldust, or R-Truth aren't wearing their gloves (they're the only RAW superstars I can think of that wear gloves.)

Goldust will just look odd with his full suit... without gloves.

  4. This is tough to say in July because it is so hard to predict who is going to get a push and who won't.

Barrett is too young, give it 2 years, let him hold the US Title, tag team titles first before you give him a major title. Sheamus... maybe I mean it seems Vince is bent on making us believe Sheamus is a major threat and a credible champion. Kofi, his best chance to get a push was when he was feuding with Orton, and after that WWE dropped him back to Mid Card. The Miz, I'll say yes if he loses MITB which shouldn't happen, I think the Miz should be built up like Edge was the first time he won it. Jericho I can see winning given your scenario on keeping him happy by telling him he'll win the Royal Rumble.

    ...

    - CM Punk: Let's not forget our Straight Edge Savior here, Punk had an impressive showing last year until Triple H entered the ring. CM Punk's push has stalled ever since forming the SES, and it seemed that Vince never did try to make the SES a great heel group. I felt the ball was dropped on the SES when they refused to have Mysterio lose and join the SES. A Rumble win and main eventing WM 27 would be a step toward giving the SES a push, and if Luke Gallows/Mercury form a tag team to get the tag titles and they let Serena wrestle for the Women's Championship.

However, unless I missed something, Wade has the guaranteed title shot in his back pocket. Also, I think he's above midcard status for the United States championship. I can understand not wanting to give him the WWE title right away, but he's just above the United States championship. Let him build up through matches and angles.

As for Serena, I'd love to see the SES with the World Heavyweight Title, Tag Team Titles, and Women's Championship. Both the tag title and women's championship scenes need new talent injected into them (especially with Beth Phoenix out). I've been waiting to see them finally have Serena wrestle, but I'm let down every week, on that aspect. It seems like a waste to just have her valet the SES when, if I remember correctly, she was pretty successful before coming to the WWE.

Luke Gallows isn't very interesting (in my opinion), and Mercury just came back. It'll be interesting to see if it is the WWE's intention to team them and see how it develops. Right now, I just couldn't see that team on both shows, it just wouldn't hold my interest. Both the potential to see the SES twice a week, that's something I could support.

  5. As much as Kofi is over with the fans, he's still solid upper-midcard talent right now. Personally, I just don't think he's quite ready for the main event scene. I do think he'll definitely get there one day, even if I find the "Boom Drop" to be one of the most annoying moves in the WWE right now :P

  6. Honestly, I wouldn't be thrilled with Bourne winning a title until he can do an entire match with more than just kicks. Truthfully, his matches get real boring, real quick. I can only take so many kicks (with the occasional knee) in one match, so his ringwork doesn't impress me at all. Actually, everything about Bourne screams "generic" to me. His look is generic, his ringwork is unvaried and generic, his mannerisms are generic (there's more hand gestures aside from the "peace sign" Evan, and his mic skills are completely missing. If it weren't for him doing the SSP, I doubt anyone would really care about him or even pay attention to him.

  7. That doesn't surprise me, actually. Hell, I would have bought the PPV if I hadn't been broke that weekend. As much as I love the MitB match, I still wish they'd just bring back the classic PPVs, instead of these new, gimmicky ones. Anyways, I'd support MitB being a PPV instead of just a WM match. As long as they don't decide to do more than those two MitB matches per year. Having three Money winners this year is kind of overkill to me with the concept.

  8. Does anyone else find it amusing that, in the 7-11 commercial for the cups, the guy blatantly passes up the John Cena cup? On a side note, I'd mark out if I picked up a cup and Triple H's music starting playing. Only because I would be lead to think he was going to walk into that 7-11 >.>

  9. Man, here I was hoping for a "Hollywood Hogan" like fan reaction to Cena turning heel last night, and instead I get a team that consists of that abysmal R-Truth, Khali, and old man Hart. What a giant let-down. It doesn't help that Truth ruined Miz's shot at being a double champion.

Here's a question, or perhaps suggestion is the better word:

With how "patriotic" Cena is, and how much he supports the troops, why doesn't he go after the United States title? Sure, he's a main eventer and the US title is a mid-card championship. C'moooon Cena, you know you want to. I'm tired of seeing Cena in the main event everytime anyways.

(Disclaimer: That suggestion is purely in jest, before anyone takes me too seriously.)

  10. On a side note the lack of production for the Nexus shirt bothers me,I collect wreslting T's(Have a seperate dresser for them),and would love to get a Nexus one but the N is just lame. The front should have said Nexus and the back should have said the Winds Of Change Are Coming.Something like that.

At least the back says "If you not Nexus, you're against us". :X

And I'll be pissed if Miz loses his money in the bank match...

  11. I respect Kane for all the time he put into the company with little reward. He does deserve that championship, what bothers me is that he's way past his prime. Back when he was an intimidating monster, when he was still masked and didn't talk, a world championship reign would have been awesome. Just right now... he's a bald, angry, out-of-shape man. Not a big, red, dominating, intimidating, silent machine.

  12. I don't think Bourne is ready yet, I think all Bourne is in the match for is because of Cena telling Vince to give him a push and to be the spot of the match where he does something special but doesn't win, just like Kofi did earlier.

I don't think Bourne will ever be ready.

  13. You know, if by some stroke of luck horrible booking and decision making, Evan Bourne won MitB, I'd probably stop watching the WWE. I'm probably one of the few people who does not find him the least bit entertaining. I can only take so many kicks in one match (since he seems to not know very many actual moves), and the Shooting Star Press was interesting back when Billy Kidman did it, it's lost it's luster now.

  14. I'm calling The Miz to win, too. DiBiase just isn't ready to be built up as a contender yet, and you know that the winner will cash in their briefcase wayyyy before WrestleMania given the audience's short attention span. DiBiase isn't over enough yet to be built up as a threat to the championship in a short span. Miz is ready.

On another note, I marked out big time when Orton did his pose on the turnbuckle. Can't get enough of it -- I do the pose all the time myself. It's my signature now. lol.

I totally support Miz winning it. Used to hate the guy, but he's grown on me immensely.

  15. I am still a huge Brothers of Destruction fan,Taker was my first favorite and for 20 years have been cheering him,Kane I just hope gets longer then a 24 hour run.Loving the young guys but still love the Taker lol

I have a ton of respect for the Undertaker, it just depresses me to see him now, old and unimpressive, when he used to be, probably, one of the most intimidating, and downright cool superstars in the federation. He's just nothing like he was back in the day, which I understand, the man's getting old. However, his matches, and him personally, are not as entertaining and imposing as they once were. It'll still be a sad day when he finally does call it quits.
