  1. Awesome, we get to go back to Raw again this week. And it gets even better, a 2 out of 3 falls rematch from a 1:36 long match at Mania
  2. I prefer blonde Trish to brunette Trish. Don't get me wrong, she still looks amazing, but I have a preference for blondes (even though my girl is a brunette lol). The only diva who comes close to Trish is Maryse, if we're going by looks
  3. #Survivor lol Oh man, Matt's stay was short lived.

  4. I'm not squeamish and don't cringe typically, but seeing his head bounce off the floor did make me cringe. I mean, his head bounced off the floor like a ball, there's no way that couldn't hurt like a son of a.
  5. You sold me on watching the first two and avoiding the third. Thank you, sir.
  6. I'm sure Miz had the tests that needed to be done, I don't think Vince or the WWE would let that nasty hit go unchecked. Truth be told, I didn't even notice Miz's head bounce off the concrete while it happened in real time... not until Miz pointed it out on Raw. You have to give props to the man for coming back to the ring in any capacity to finish the match.
  7. Agreed completely. Guess he'll be on Smackdown friday too. Can't wait. They're also expecting him to climb up the ranks fairly quickly, so that leaves me to wonder how long it will be until he's United States champion. Of course it's pulled... just like a chair shot is. Again, I'm not saying they're not dangerous, but Orton's punt isn't that much safer. He pulls it (just like every punch, aside from maybe Show's Knockout Punch), just like chair shots are pulled.
  8. Precisely, I'm not saying they should make any and all hits to the "head, face, or neck" illegal and punishable by fines or suspensions. However, you also have to realize that even the most simple and frequently performed moves can go wrong when when party either forgets a spot, gets lost for a second, or is inexperienced. Like when Owen Hart paralyzed Stone Cold with that one piledriver. Or when this happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOjN2LmAiF8 I'm not in favor of watering down move sets and cutting out certain moves. What I am in favor of is making sure upcoming, young wrestlers are one hundred percent trained and confident in wrestling. I'm not saying these new guys are not properly trained or that everyone should be jumping off the top, hitting corkscrew splashes or something. But education can go along way in the industry, even if it won't eliminate the "luck" factor when it comes to injuries. Again, I'm not saying they should just allow everyone to hit everyone else with chairs or piledriver men through tables.
  9. I'm sorry, but have you seen some of his punts (aKa some of the slow motion replays? He's not "barely" touching them. Is it a full blown kick? No, but it's still trauma directly to the head. Guys like Undertaker and Triple H know how to choreograph chair shots so they're not as damaging as they appear. It's the same reason the piledriver was "banned". However, have you noticed that Undertaker and Kane are the only two (prior to sunday's one by Triple H) who are allowed to perform it in really any variation (The Tombstone)? Because they know how to perform it safely because of how long they've been doing it. Is it as often or prevalent as it once was for the two men? No, but it still occasionally happens. Am I saying any veteran should be allowed to run around hitting and taking chair shots? No, but these two men have been in the industry for a combined 44 years and the magnitude of the match was astounding. So do forgive me if I expect the WWE to allow just a little leeway to these two men in such a big match.
  10. Okay... so Randy Orton can get a running start and kick people in the head, but you're not allowed to hit people in the head with a chair? We all know there are "safe" ways of taking a chair shot, ways that I'm sure both men are aware of, just as there are "safe" ways for taking Orton's punt. Annoying.
  11. After Monday Night Raw, I have to say that Sin Cara is awesome. Definitely one of my new favorites. Mexico was right to love the guy #WWE

  12. Agreed onethousandfold.
  13. Cena is the last person I'd ever want to see end the Streak. He's big now, but he's not a legend like Triple H or the Undertaker. If the Streak will ever end, I can only ever see it happening in one of two ways: 1) Another person on the scale of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, or Undertaker ends it. or 2) Franny's said this before, but a young superstar ends it and gains a huge boost. Cena fits into neither category. He's been around for a while, so how much additional attention would he really gain? It'd just be another reason for fans to become bored and annoyed with him and his "Superman" persona. And despite all the attention and belts he's had so far, he's not really on the same level as Triple H, HBK, or Taker, at least (and it pains me to say this) not yet.
  14. I've been avoiding the forums since I didn't get to watch WM until last night. However... I'm absolutely furious that the Undertaker won. Did I expect him to? Deep down I suppose I did, but Triple H should have come out on out. He destroyed the Taker, and I legitimately got chills when he set him up for the Tombstone, that is how the Streak should have came to an end. As for the finish, frequently it looked like Trips had Taker's shoulders down for a count or could have picked him up for a powerbomb. Despite that, I'll give them credit for the shot of Triple H finally tapping. Maybe I'm the only one, but that tap was perfect. It wasn't a tap like most you see, it wasn't of pain, anguish, or frustration. It was perfectly done though. I'll agree that I think Taker legitimately couldn't stand. However, I don't see it as "it's awesome that he still finished the match", it irks me. It really bothers me that we have to be subjected to this fragile, dare I say, old out of shape man getting absolutely demolished for 20 minutes and still beat a physical specimen like Triple H. Don't get me wrong, I respect Undertaker for everything and that he still has the passion and desire to go out there and put his body on the line. But snapping the Streak at 18 wouldn't have disregarded the massive "achievement" (as much as one can be in a "planned" sport) of an 18 match winning Streak. Did anyone else (since I haven't read everything people have said here) think Triple H injured his hand or wrist early on in the match? He seemed to be favoring it the entire match. Apparently, the WWE wants a rematch of the two for Wrestlemania XXVIII and if that happens... Triple H better win. Also... Sin Cara quickly become one of my favorites last night. I loved his entrance, even if he didn't quite make it over the top rope when he jumped into the ring. He may not have showed too much last night, but he didn't have to. That leap off the top to Sheamus outside might not have been flashy, but the height was awesome. I'm not going to go and liken him to Mysterio, but if Cara doesn't relent, the WWE might actually have a real high flyer. Not those fakers Evan Bourne and the diminished ability of Mysterio. WWE Shop is selling a replica Sin Cara mask, I might buy it for... poops and giggles.
  15. According to Netflix, since I liked @pattonoswalt stand-up, I'll also love a biography of Lyndon B. Johnson

  16. Last I heard, the WWE thought Skip had face potential. So when he comes back, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go that route than end up with either faction, especially with the joke that is the "new" Nexus. But yeah, I agree with Franchise, a loss at WM doesn't hurt the Undertaker's career at all. Shawn did say that he doesn't know if he "can let" Trips do what he couldn't, and I'll be furious if he interferes and costs Triple H the match.
  17. Some of us have already done our predictions, Wacko lol I also hope Trips doesn't change his music. So really, I hope Metallica either covers "The Game" or even "King of Kings". Edit: I guess the Trips-Taker Match is billed as "Nothing Else Matters"... soooo... As much as I love 'Tallica, I really don't think that fits Triple H at all. So I'm praying he doesn't come out to that.
  18. I haven't seen it, but I haven't heard good things about it either. Apparently it's been called "The Last Airbender" with bustiers. "[it] proves a movie can be loud, action-packed and filled with beautiful young women, and still bore you to tears." - Roeper
  19. Fixed.
  20. Since, Vince McMahon no longer considers the WWE a "wrestling company", he's apparently going to change the name of the company to just "WWE", not "World Wrestling Entertainment" to eliminate "wrestling" from the name. Sorry, Vince, but this is getting ridiculous. Source
  21. Bruno Sammartino's talking about actually accepting the WWE's invite to their Hall of Fame: I'm sorry, Bruno, but what more do you want? The company has been firmly entrenched in TV-PG for years now, are we supposed to wait until it's TV-Y7 with next to no promos and just wrestling matches for two hours, like when you were still wrestling?
  22. So I read Rob Van Dam's comments on SEScoops about TNA and the WWE, and I'm sorry, but it sounds more like a commercial for TNA than any part of an actual interview. Hell, I'd go as far as to say it sounds like Dixie Carter wrote half of his comments for him. Check it out
  23. #Survivor Haha, I love Rob. I'd love to see him finally win it all.

  24. I love how Cena said that he was "proud to hear your cheers... and other comments." What's wrong, John? Can't bring yourself to say aloud that people are booing you?
  25. You know, I never realized that the WWE offered Lennox Lewis five million pounds to fight Brock Lesnar at No Mercy way back when. What's sad is... that I say that as a Lewis fan. =\
