  1. How furious would people have been if Brodus Clay won that Battle Royal on Smackdown? That would be a disaster of TNA proportions. It was entirely predictable that Christian was going to win though.
  2. Not a fan of McCool, she's not even that attractive to me. But Layla... Mmmmm. Second to Maryse though <.<
  3. I believe JO said it before, but I hope it's now a way for Miz to retain, without Cena needing to be pinned. Personally, I could care less if Cena wins or loses, but the WWE does. So any chance for the Miz to win is better in my opinion.
  4. Touche! I can't believe none of us had thought of that. ACTION SOAP OPERA SUNDAY!
  5. Yeah, Sheamus never recovered since he started to fall back down the ladder. It's pathetic to see a two time WWE Champion lose to Santino. I never considered Swagger to be near the main event level to begin with, so I still cannot understand why he was thrown up there. What irks me now is we have R-Truth in a WWE Title match, along with Cena, while guys like Punk just sit on the sidelines.
  6. Well, now I can't wait for Triple H and Stephanie to have some more control over what goes on in the WWE. Apparently, Triple H is in favor of actually building up the anticipation for new talent before they appear, instead of just having them show up one day on television. The Sin Cara and Awesome Kong vignettes were his idea (as the first two wrestlers he's worked with since his new position). He also doesn't want to bring young talent up to the main event until, and this is a shocker, they're ready. He's seen too many young guys come up who are still learning and have their characters take too much flak to survive. Sounds like it won't be so bad if Trips is in charge one day. We both posted the same information at the same time.
  7. So.... with all this new "terminology" being announced, it leaves me with one question. What are genre are Smackdown Vs Raw games going to be placed in? Wrestling? No. Sports? No. Fighting? No. I guess Vince will make his own, new genre, WWE games.
  8. That was exactly my thought. As a matter of fact, wrestling fans see the term "male soap opera" as something of a derogatory term to professional wrestling... and now you have a wrestling company saying it's going to make "action soap opera" as an appropriate term for his product?
  9. I wouldn't stop watching due to all of the ridiculousness that's been going on, company wise. Unless Vince's insanity starts tainting the product in the ring, I'll let him make a fool out of himself and laugh everytime I hear something like "action soap opera".
  10. I guess so, since he can't be called an athlete anymore. This whole "The WWE isn't a wrestling company, it's an entertainment company" ordeal is beyond ridiculous now.
  11. I find it hilarious that the WWE thinks anyone is going to seriously use the term "action soap opera".
  12. Vince McMahon and the WWE have officially gone insane. Seemingly, an article that's been sent to people who do voice-overs called "The Language of WWE" has been leaked. Apparently, it lists words that are forbidden to be used and what should be used instead. The following words are "forbidden": ~ Wrestling & catch (a term used in southern Europe) - Saying something like "Wrestling is seen across the world" is wrong, instead it should be "WWE is seen across the world" ~ Sports - WWE should be called "Entertainment" or... an "action soap opera". The WWE gave the following two examples of this "WWE is exciting entertainment" and "WWE is an exciting action soap opera". ~ Athletes & Sportsmen - The WWE gave the following example of the "proper" terminology "WWE Superstars are entertainers with tremendous athletic prowess". ~ Fight & Fighting - Only the terms matches and bouts are to be used in reference to WWE matches.
  13. That's what boggles me about them wanting him to climb the ranks so quickly. We all know managers are going the way of the tag team division, albeit at a much faster rate. Since he came from Mexico, I figured he wasn't quite fluent or effective speaking english. I'd be curious to see who they'd line up for his manager... if they even do. Man, I miss the Cruiserweight division from WCW.
  14. I didn't think I'd like him as much as I do. Actually seeing him compete makes me realize why Mexico was so crazy about him, and why him signing with the WWE was such a big deal.
  15. I don't blame him on the entrance. That trampoline keeps getting placed too close to the ring. Obviously, it needs more practice or else it should just be cut out completely. Yeah, Primo was most likely at fault for the botch. Oh well, he's probably already on the chopping block with spring cleaning coming up. All of that doesn't change the fact that Sin Cara has so much potential it isn't even funny, plus he's fun to watch to boot. If they want to make him a main event superstar, though, I think he'll have to get on the mic first.
  16. So that's the real reason Edge retired...
  17. I'm not even concerned or interested in another draft. The past few years has been incredibly boring and does nothing to "shake" anything up. Plus, we've already seen SD members on Raw and vice versa. Brands don't mean quite as much as they used to. Plus, why don't we see who gets the axe before we worry about a draft. Also, Vince McMahon is apparently extremely angry over Sin Cara's near botched entrance on Raw. Once again, he barely managed to clear the top rope. I don't think it's so much his fault as it is whoever is sliding the trampoline out from under the ring. Then there was that top rope botch before Cara hit that suplex.
  18. Well, apparently Awesome Kong is going to show up on FCW soon, as they're showing promos for her arrival. So I doubt we'll see her on the main roster anytime soon.
  19. Apparently, "Superstar" Billy Graham is, to put it mildly, upset that the WWE inducted Abdullah The Butcher into the WWE Hall of Fame. He went so far as to call Abdullah a "bloodthirsty animal" and the WWE Hall of Fame "worthless" and "disgustingly embarrassing" before demanding to be removed from the Hall. Also, Billy was, again "upset" at Chris Jericho, who commented on Graham's statements on the Benoit Murder-Suicide in his latest book. Graham said: All Chris said in reply was "God bless him and best of luck in all he does in the future.". Billy Graham needs to chill out. He's 67, and I doubt anyone would be physically intimidated by him anymore. The man's already said his Hall of Fame ring on eBay, so why not grant the man his wish.
  20. Dear #WWE , please break up Laycool. They've long worn out their welcome. They're beyond annoying now.

  21. As will I. I've always liked Hall, ever since his Razor Ramon days. Which makes it so much harder to accept that unless Hall manages to get clean and stay clean, he might be the next major death in the industry. Especially after seeing that video.
  22. If his agent is indeed lying, it'd be a shame. Not just because of the man's condition, but how just the other week he said he wouldn't be at Shawn's induction because he didn't think he was ready to be put into that sort of environment.
  23. Sin Cara is currently listed on WWE.com's Raw roster, he's probably just appearing on SD to garner more attention is all. After all, the WWE is pretty high on him. If the WWE brought back the Cruiserweight title, it wouldn't hold a candle to the title scene back in WCW... which would sadden me.
  24. I'm getting anxious for his first real match. I'm glad they pulled off his entrance correctly this time lol
  25. I'm sorry, but Santino's Cobra isn't very amusing anymore. I feel bad for those who have to get "laid out" by such a move. You know, part of me wishes Santino would end up being part of "spring cleaning". His reputation is ruined by being a comedy act for years. Now that the luster of his comedy has worn off, he's just irritating me.
