  1. Yeah, Trish was beautiful and extremely talented in the ring. The female wrestlers nowadays are usually more looks than skill. A few have legitimate skills (Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Natalya, even Melina), however the vast majority are decent at best in the ring, and hired more for their looks (Maryse, Eve, Layla).
  2. It's very much catered towards a more family atmosphere. The women still have some revealing outfits, but the King no longer drools over "puppies", and the vulgarity of it all has decreased a lot. There's a few innuendos here and there, but they're few and far between. Plus, children most likely wouldn't understand them. Even the language has been toned down, very few cuss words are spoken, aside from the minor hell and damn.
  3. If they did lose it, I don't think they're too concerned. With the current direction of the WWE, they have a massive fanbase of pretty much all ages with their "family-friendly appeal". You have the older crowd who grew up watching the likes of the Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, and Bret Hart, the young adult crowd who grew up watching Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, and The Rock, and that love for the industry is being instilled in the kids of those two crowds. So that's essentially three demographics that the WWE can draw upon. Sure, they don't always have the most stimulating angles (i.e. anything with Cena) for most adults, but there's something for everyone... if they at least enjoy the industry to begin with.
  4. Dear @CBSTweet & @Survivor_Tweet: Please release more seasons of #Survivor on DVD. Thank you.

  5. What bothered me most about Sheamus since he lost the title has been some of the matches he dropped. Don't get me wrong, the one angle with Santino, where he was chasing him down the ramp and Santino was throwing credit cards and checks at him was hilarious. However, Sheamus was built up to be some huge powerhouse and he ends up losing to Santino. Sure, it was thanks to Morrison and in effort to further the storyline, but eh.
  6. I'm sorry, but I just can't see Morrison as WWE Champion right now. I can't.
  7. That was an genius way to win that table match, Miz.

  8. I don't know if Cena will ever turn heel.
  9. Good job, Baltimore. I never doubted your ability to beat the Saints.

  10. lol Twitter just suggested Mark Sanchez to me as someone I should follow. NO THANKS!

  11. I think that when the Texans tied the game, they also exploded the Ravens Message Boards...

  12. As much as I'd love for the re-hiring to be a trap, for the GM to veto the re-hiring, or for Cena to somehow turn heel, I'm starting to lose faith in the creativity of the writers and the willingness to take risks of the WWE in general. I have a feeling Cena is going to be re-hire just because the Nexus is tired of him attacking them. No curveballs thrown, nothing new introduced, just Cena overcoming another stipulation and going back to the same old Cena.
  13. I was never a fan of the Slammy episodes, so eh. I'm not sure if it's really going to affect them much. The New York/Minnesota game is in a very limited broadcast area, and I don't think that the BAL/HOU game is that huge of a draw for MNF. So I can't see Raw's viewership dropping that much.
  14. I used to watch entire episodes of Raw on YouTube... it became a chore to find them. So I had to go to... "other means", as Franny would say, to get them. Now I have every episode of Raw from '97 and '98 on DVD, still gotta get '99 and 2000. Sadly though, 2000 has been hard to find.
  15. Hey yo, I used to love Razor Ramon/Scott Hall...
  16. I heard Tennessee was going to attempt to retroactively sue the Greece for usage of the word "titan" in their mythology.
  17. R.I.P. Dimebag. Six years ago metal lost one of the greats. Forever you'll be missed.

  18. I'd hate for Santino to drop his comedy act, his goofiness is what I look forward to. With that said, however, it irritates me that he's Tag-Team Champions with Kozlov. Most likely due to how Santino's character has been for the past few years, I just can't take him seriously as a champion. Especially with the whole Tamina/Santino romance going on. I was actually slightly pulling for the Uso's to win last night. They came out with a bang when the Hart Dynasty were champions... only to be pushed aside while thrown together tag teams fight over the belts. Whether or not the whole "Rehire Cena or You're Out" angle is a set-up, the way the WWE has handled Cena since his "firing" ruins it for me. It still baffles me why they even bothered wasting the three second it took to create "Juan Cena" when John's just going to be on Raw every week basically in the capacity of if he were still "an employee". It's annoying that the week after he comes and gives his sickening extended goodbye that was filled with "emotion" on the Raw after Survivor Series, he's back on Raw attacking the Nexus and causing havoc. What about your poor mom, John? Or your niece/nephew (I really didn't care so I can't remember) that was just born that you missed? It just doesn't make any sense that they have Cena come out and say how much he's missed his family and how he's going to go see them... yet not miss even one Raw since he was "fired". The WWE has passed over so many chances to make Cena even slightly more serious as a character, they've given him less over-exaggerated promos, they've had him act more serious at times, they've cut down on his "jokes". However, after hearing Cena rip off "Step Brothers" (which made no sense, since Cena's fanbase isn't even old enough to have seen the movie) last night, I believe they're going to pass over this attempt as well. The "humor" and "jokes" the writers come up with is completely idiotic, even for humor being aimed towards children. Cena is fully capable of developing more of a serious role while still being a fan (and child) favorite. The only props I'll really give Cena since Survivor Series was when he came out on Raw and asked for all the children and women to chant "Let's go Cena!" and every guy over 18 to chant "Cena sucks!". I've always been a fan of Punk, so I was sad to hear he was out for an extended amount of time after being traded to Raw. However, he's been pretty solid at the commentary table. Sure, he isn't perfect, but it's definitely a breath of fresh air after having only Jerry and Cole for years. I definitely prefer him over Todd or Stryker from Smackdown. Speaking of Smackdown, I had been wondering for a while if Raw would ever get a third commentator since Cole starting doing Smackdown as well. That's the reason I actually thought J.R. would throw a curveball at everyone and announce that he's coming back to Raw permanently after he showed up at Old School night.
  19. Seriously? Are you freaking serious? It's nice to see that Cena is exempt from any stipulation in any match. Even though he's fired, he still shows up every week, and now Nexus is telling Barrett to hire Cena back? That is the biggest load of crap and stupid cop-out WWE has come up with as of late.
  20. I preferred Ozzie Sabbath, but I loved Dio. Heaven and Hell was a fantastic band, shame he passed so soon afterwords.

  21. Yeah, The Miz deemed her that, but she reminds me too much of The Exorcist for me to call her that.
