  1. It'll never happen, but I'd love to see Cena get squashed by The Rock. I'm sick of him always hogging the spotlight in everything that happens in the WWE. Like last night, when the Nexus attacked Orton. Once Cena came out, it wasn't about The Nexus attacking Orton, or about Orton getting help against Nexus... it was about Cena coming out to destroy Punk and the Nexus. Ugh. Now I can only hope for a Triple H and Jericho return soon.
  2. I'm surprised you're still breathing right now, Franny lol
  3. Here's a question no one has asked: Who's the chick in the heels who got out of the limo? Hmmmmmmmmmm? Even though it was The Rock, the intro to his music was entirely way too drawn out. I wish they would have toned it down and given him even more mic time. I also loved how everything PG was thrown out the window. When he was getting ready to tell the world about the Facebook picture he'd upload if Cole went over to the computer, I recited the entire "Shine it up real nice. . ." catch phrase, and was still shocked he got to say it all, curse words and all. Even though he said he's back for good, I don't know. With WM in Miami next year, "for good" could mean one year. It could also mean he's really gone after this year's WM, or maybe, just maybe, he's really back for good. Who knows. Even though he said he really wouldn't wrestle anymore, I do hope he's changed his mind. Dwayne's only 38 and still in great shape. Hell, Shawn wrestled until he's 45 (with major back surgery no less), Taker's 45, Triple H is 41, Big Show is 39, and Jericho's 40. Only Hunter is in better shape (arguably) than Rocky. I know, the WWE's going for a youth movement, but if The Rock says he wants to come back, you'd be stupid to say no. I'm not giving my hopes up, nor am I getting my hopes up that he'll actually see a substantial return to ringwork, but I can hope. The Rock was always my second favorite wrestler (only Shawn Michaels was higher), just above Jericho and Triple H.
  4. So I went back and watched the Chris Jericho/Shawn Michaels match from Wrestlemania XIX... man, that was one of the greatest matches I have ever seen, between two of my all-time favorites.
  5. So I've been on a... Fozzy kick (their last two albums, with original content, not the covers of when they "were stuck in Japan"). Jericho is truly a pure entertainer, no matter what he does. His books are top-notch, he was entertaining on Downfall (for the most part), and he's still one hell of a wrestler even in his forties. Chris isn't lying when he says he's the best in the world at what he does. I just wish he never cut his hair I miss goofy Jericho.
  6. Yeah, Cole has taken his heel persona to a new level... and sadly it's not a good level. Lawler played a good heel to JR's face, at least he still called the matches. Cole just gets overly loud, completely off-topic, and seemingly blatantly irritating. You don't have to be loud and obnoxious to play a heel. Booker's almost forced to overplay the face just to offset Cole. I've hated Vickie for a long, long time and every week it gets worse. The end of Smackdown last week, where she fired Kelly and told Edge about her being the guest ref... was terrible. She didn't need to yell every line, and that "menacing" laugh... *cringe* That "Excuse Me!" catch phrase is terrible too, mostly because it's completely out of context ninety-five percent of the time. Very rarely is it interrupting anyone, she just says it to say it. And you're right, JO, she waits too long, and always says it way too many times. Okay, once or twice... maybe three times, but she drags it on way too much. Also, you bring up a really good point, Franny, she has been in the same storyline for years. I feel almost stupid for not realizing it before.
  7. Meh, I'd much rather have had an Undertaker/Barrett match then a Taker/Triple H match... if I had to endure another Old Man Taker match. The Taker/Barrett match would make much more sense to me, but I could see them playing it off as Hunter wants revenge for Shawn being "forced" into retirement.
  8. I never realized there wasn't a PPV in March this year.
  9. I hate Statham, not because of who he's dating. But because he's so one dimensional. It's not because every movie he does is an action movie... but because every movie he does is basically the same movie with a different title. Anyone else interested in "The Adjustment Bureau"?
  10. Acting or not, I loved watching Miss Fox in the first two <.<; So yes, I'm slightly disappointed she wont be back. Her replacement though... wow.
  11. I've yet to actually see it, sadly. So I haven't forgot it, I just can't comment on it Although I've heard great things.
  12. The urge to get the remaining Mass Effect 2 DLC I don't have and replay the game is overcoming me lol

lol Me too, beat it twice, but that was before the DLC came out. So I caved, bought all of it and started again.

You get both Overlord and Shadow Broker? Are they worth the points?

I haven't played Shadow Broker yet, but Overlord was a fun side quest, even though it's only about an hour and a half to two hours long.

  13. I'm saddened, JO. This thread is 111 pages long, that barely one and half page tiff isn't even a tenth of that =P I don't see the issue in anyone quoting what he brought up regarding Sting or The Undertaker. He brought up valid points in Sting and Taker's age, he just didn't want to hear any argument to validate the fact that Sting's age isn't an issue. Which it's not. Yes, Sting's 51, but it's not like he's out of shape and can't work a match. His lessened workload shouldn't be held against him, TNA's business decisions and workload are not his fault. I really think the whole Sting thing is most likely dead (he's apparently close to a new contract with TNA), unless the WWE is really hiding it well and using The Undertaker as a diversionary tactic. And if that is the case, then bravo to them, and props to you, JO, for calling it lol But I'm prepared for the very likely let down that the WWE is setting us up for.
  14. For some reason, TES: Oblivion just doesn't hold my attention like it used to. Oh how I cannot wait for Skyrim.

  15. That's cool, dude, whatever helps you sleep at night. It's really no skin off my back, as I'm fairly confident I can find more people who have the complete opposite opinion regarding me that you do. It's ridiculous that to say that I have a "complete lack of ability to participate in blah blah blah" when, quite frankly, I've been doing that in this thread since I made it. But like I said, whatever makes you feel better. Anyways, I feel bad for Japanese children in the future, if this goes through: She wants to move on from TV? What has she done recently to argue against that? Some VH1 reality and an episode of a TV Court Show where she won a whopping $4,000? I just cannot imagine this woman trying to teach the english language to japanese children. What happens if they mess up their spelling or grammar? Instead of a rap across the knuckles with a ruler, she body slams them though their desk?
  16. Franco's really grown on me. Dude's got some range, can go from a stoner-commando in "Pineapple Express" to Harvey Milk's boyfriend in "Milk". Of course, there's the vengeful Harry Osborn in Spiderman, also. Who's going to see Justin Beiber's movie? I know Jon, Nurps, and Wardy already have their tickets reserved.
  17. The idiots on this board amuse me to no end. Boo hoo, I disagreed with you, I'm sorry your fragile self-esteem can't handle someone picking your argument apart.

  18. Maybe this means we get to see Ryan destroy R-Truth again. I'd be down to see it again.
  19. I'm half expecting the WWE to just do away with the Tag Titles soon. It's obvious that the tag division just isn't a priority to the company anymore. I don't think Ziggler will be the new champion on SD. While the deck is certainly stacked, something will develop and Edge will be able to retain.
  20. I haven't, not yet at least. I most likely will though, you can't go wrong with Franco.
  21. Maybe he wanted to see two movies that could be abbreviated as "PA"?
  22. I enjoyed the first Paranormal Activity myself, but that's not to say 2 is bad. If you liked the first, you'll definitely like the second. But be warned, it starts off much, much slower than the first.
  23. However, about things that matter, since when does a black trench coat automatically equal a dead man character? I can go out and buy a black trench coat, does that mean I'm the new "Dead Man"? Edge still wears his black trench coat, does that mean he's supernatural? Stop thinking of things in black and white. Anyways, SEScoops is saying that the WWE is thinking about breaking up the Usos. Rikishi totally called that one. That's the one thing that really bothers me with the WWE, how much they ignore the tag team division. They had a great tag team in The Heart Dynasty, and what do they do? Split them up, David Hart-Smith is never heard from again, and Tyson Kidd gets a few appearance with a "big guy" who's also never heard from again. Now they have the Usos, who they hyped up when them debuted, laying waste to The Hart Dynasty, them they get dumped to Superstars and matches where they either always lose or have to dance instead. So who do we have as Tag Team Champions? Santino and Kozlov. It's pathetic, those two get slapped together hold the belt for months and the legitimate teams get ignore and later split up... dooming their careers.
  24. Again, either you're not reading everything I say, or you're misunderstanding what I said. I said he wasn't anymore successful wrestling outside of the WWE (Del Rio: 1 Time World Champion. Black: 2 Time World Champion, 3 Time Tag Champion. That's both men's pre-WWE career), and the only thing he had over Black was an MMA career in addition to his wrestling career. Who knows what Black's gimmick would be in the WWE. It's not like once you come up with your first gimmick when you start wrestling, you're stuck to it for the rest of your career. Get over yourself, people don't just like someone just because "he's wrestled in some indy promotions".
  25. Okay, great, so once a year Undertaker puts on a good match. I'm sorry, you're right, he's very exciting... once a year. Too bad for the other 364 days, he's still the tired, out of shape, old man trying to pull off the gimmick of a Dead Man. Secondly, apparently you're either not reading, or not understanding what I'm saying. Age isn't even the factor why another hyped Taker return is disappointing. I want something new, something exciting, who cares if it's a 51 year old Sting? Can you imagine the type of pop he would garner walking down to a WWE Ring? Who cares if it's for one match. But I digress, the fact is I was expecting something new, something different from this promo... not the same old, same old. Lastly, Tyler Black and Seth Rollins are the same guy. When Black signed with WWE, he was renamed Seth Rollins in the FCW However, I was just throwing names out there. However, you want to say that Black (who was rather successful in ROH) doesn't deserve a commercial? Did Del Rio deserve a commercial announcing his debut? He wasn't anymore successful than Black was prior to WWE. All Del Rio really has was a MMA background. The fact of the matter is, if the WWE sees talent in a wrestler, they can and will hype their debut, especially a young talent.
