Would love a pass rusher in the 1st round and a CB in the second. I like King a lot but i depends how well he runs at the combine.
I would also see Greg Roman as an insurance just in case we need another OC during the season. Lol.
Yes Smith getting hurt is a problem but I think the secondary looked pretty good with him playing. Sure we could use another good corner but that doesn't mean we need to priotitise just this position. To make our defense better we need to get our whole pass defense better and that includes our pass rush.
I'm a little surprised about that. Morningweg did alright I guess but I'm certain with all the coaches out there who have been fired we could find a better OC.
I'm not a fan of a filling the void strategy. Especially if you need to fill the shoes of a legend. We just need to find other playmakers who can do their own special things.
Man how I wish Kubiak would come back to us... Still I think Flaccos inconsistent play was also a result of many lineman getting hurt and he getting hit and sacked too much. Sure we had problems from the get go but I don't think you can blame it all on the OC.
Seems like Tavon Young played well (diamond in the ruff). Our O Line is still in bad shape, it says something when a 5th round rookie beats out Jenson and Urchell, and then Ducasse beats them out (whom most fans thought Jenson and Urchell would be our starters). Wouldn't mind another O Line man and running back in the fist and second rounds. Judon, Smith, and hopefully Correa can step up ( big disappointment with Correa). Def gotta build up that O Line, no run game and Flacco took too many hits. The Ravens have so many holes they can draft across the board, but we should protect our 120 mill investment and boost our run game.
I think we don't need to invest another 1st rounder in an O lineman. You can get good guards or centers in later rounds, but you won't find top pass rush talent outside of the 1st round. Sure we need to do a better job up fornt but we can get that another way. Maybe through FA...
No offense to Kamar, but he doesn't seem to understand, as many players don't. On a team with better, healthier options, he never would have been a starter. He would not be a starter on MOST teams in the NFL. He is a good player, but there is no way he should be starting over our first round pick, Perriman, who was also severely underutilized. If Wallace weren't here, then yeah, I suppose I could see Perriman and Aiken starting, with maybe Camp in the slot. But really, we can and should do a lot better at starting WR than Aiken.
My thoughts exactly. Aiken is a pretty good player but he needs to understand that the offense didn't really dominate with him as a starter as well...
I like how he progresses. Still he has a lot of work to do. Got to get consistent.
What kind of breakout game are you talking about? Sure he had some nice moments but come on
I rellay like him, but I wouldn't praise him too early. Still has a lot to learn
the Ravens have the backs to run the ball, if they decide to do it. They will not win consistently unless they RUN THE BALL,. Anyone should know that Joe Flacco cannot carry this team on his back.
They did try to run it more this time but got stoped on most plays. We lost yards on many run plays. The problem is that we need to start run the ball effectively.
Not worried about Roethlisberger. We seen him before and we beaten him before. I'm more concerned about the health of our own players
He needs to take it like a man. Can't make excuses if you are a returner you can't fumble and bring your team in a bad situation. A guy with his skill level shouldn`t muff a punt.
He is better than Hurst and for a rookie he didn't played too bad
Ravens need to get healthy again and take a hard look at them selfes and cut out the mistakes. I hope that the bye will help us do that and that we come out stronger. If not we might as well look for another top 10 draft pick.
Time to make plays Matt. Better make it count
Injuries aren't an excuse but in our case it explains a lot. I think we can say that we have really good starters on every position, but we are not very deep. The gap between starters and backups is too big on certain positions and now we also need to shift people around. We need to get healthy or people need to step up in order to play better football.
First we need to get healthy. I do think that the O will perform if our O line is back to normal and Joe has more time. With a better run game we should be fine in the pass game as well. Everyone can see that Joe isn't comfortable in the pocket right now and why should he? He absorbs massive hits every game. Can't let this continue.
Never liked Trestman's calls. He never got our system going like Kubiak did and I think he never really understood it as well as Kubiak. Don't know much about Mornhinwag but at this point it can't get much worse.
What we could see the last two weeks was that our backups are far from our starters. Our O line is a mess and when Mosley got hurt the middle of the defense looked soft. Also we just need to make plays. Perriman needs to step up. I know he had a hard time getting on the field put now he can play and we need him. Sure the potential TD grap wasn't easy but that's what NFL WR do. They come up with those.
Man how I hope that Stanley is playing.
It's nice to hear that he should be ok, but after last season I won't believe a thing until I see him in a game.
Man I can't believe this... What a shame. I'm curious if we will ever see this guy play. But the amount of injuries Perriman sustained in this short time is scary.

Whatever WR we will get I don't think it will be a speed WR. We have good speed at the WR position. We need someone with good hands who can make the hard catches.
