  1. Yanda is such a beast! The iron man of the oline. I like the Allen and West combo as well. If we can get our rungame going we help out Schaub as well. He seems better with the playaction.
  2. Matt... Just don't turn tha ball over and we will be fine. Don't try to force it into the tight windows. You are not Flacco you know
  3. Even if the call wasn't right. We had so many bad calls against us that it would only be fair...
  4. I have high hopes for him.
  5. Excited to see what he can do!
  6. Hmm would have prefered to see Manziel. Nevertheless I think our defense got better, so I hope we don't allow a 400 yard pass game again.
  7. I just don't see Kaep as our backup... don't think he fits our system as well
  8. I have seen some growth in Upshaw. I think got better as a passrusher.
  9. I'm glad we have at least a veteran like Schaub. You can't really replace a Super Bowl QB like Flacco but it is better to lean on a veteran who has been in the league for a while than a rookie. Schaub might not be the best player and his arm strengh dosen't wow anyone but since we have no real dangerous deep threat anymore and play more of a quickpass game lately, I think it won't be that big of a change. Maybe we even win some of the remaining games lol.
  10. Man this season has become such a drag... 1st overall pick here we come.
  11. I said it before but I say it again: THIS SEASON CAN'T END SOON ENOUGH!
  12. It is one thing to talk about not giving in but you also have to show this on the field... otherwise these weekly claims are just empty words. It's fine that the coaches still try to motivate players and try to win games but at a certain point it just needs a lot to keep you going.
  13. Hill is a great player and one of the few good storylines this season. I'm glad he got his life together.
  14. Great... this season can't end soon enough.
  15. It's such a shame... but the Ravens can't rely on Perriman being a super star next year. He will need some time again with no real rookie year to make an impact in the NFL. They also can't rely on SSS coming back. Sure it would be nice but they can't plan to have him back. So we need to get a veteran and probably draft another WR in the higher rounds. That is not an easy task and WR is not the only position of need for us. We are in the situation we never wanted to be in. We need to go for needs in the draft... I hope we can overcome this in one offseason.
  16. Chris Matthews got cut by the Seahawks... Maybe we should give him a look. He played good in the superbowl.
  17. Yeah? Maybe you should check if Trestman got the memo as well...
  18. Man this is so frustrating... I can't believe how many bad things happen to us this season. It is also very bad for our future plans because we wont see if he can play or not. So this leaves us with questionmarks for the WR position. We need to draft another WR high, or we need to invest in a veteran, which I think won't be possible with our cap. Also we need a passrusher and DBs. This is gonna be a challenge for our front office folks...
  19. Well I guess it's that kind of a season... Heartbreaking indeed. I just hope that we still have some good games and that our young guys can step up. It is just sad how this season worked out. On the other hand I think that this season makes us stronger and better and that we can grow from it as a team. It is never easy but sometimes you also need to scratch and fight to even stay on your feet... especially in Football.
  20. It is tough and I understand his struggle, but I think you can't wait forever and have to move on. I wish him the best but after almost 2 seasons of not playing I wouldn't count on him. Fact is the Ravens have prepared to live without him and we have young talent coming up. TE might be the most promising position right now. It might be hartbreaking to see Pitta go through this, but it's not that big of a deal like the injury to SSS. Crockett, Maxx and Nick are doing a good job, even if they aren't the playmakers Pitta was. At least not yet. If Pitta can't play anymore we are prepared and that's somithing we can's say about our WR situation if SSS won't return.
  21. Asa was always pretty good at ST... I never understood why the Ravens cut him... maybe because it didn't woork out as a returner. Anyway I'm glad we have him back.
  22. Very nice. I was so upset when he went to Cleveland.
  23. Hate to say it but I think we should do it like the Bengals did, adding talented playmakers to the offense in every draft and look at them now... even Dalton looks like an elite QB with this many weapons and I think he is not even half the QB Flacco is.
  24. We played better on defense but we still have a long way to go.
  25. We just can't catch a break... Get well soon SSS!!!
