I mean why would he do that... Yeah he coached there so what? Don't think his ties there are that strong. There is nothing to gain for him in Philly...
I said we should get him right after the Seahawks cut him. Happy that we did. I think he has a nice size speed combination. Don't know if we will keep him though.
"They need more playmakers" I think I mentioned this like midway through the season. What has hurt us the most were big plays allowed by the defense and the lack of big plays on offense. No matter what, we need to draft a player who can step right in there and I don't really care if you go for offense or defense. If we draft around 8 a guy like Ramsey might be gone but we may get a top WR. Although we got a WR in the 1st round last year I wouldn't mind getting another one because we don't know about Perriman. Drafting another WR high should just be a win win situation.
About Maxx: I think he played pretty well this season. We didn't need him to do it all, because we had two other very good guys playing hard and Maxx is still very young. Let the kid develop.
About Upshaw: Don't know how much money he will command but if he doesn't wants an insane amount I think we should try to get him back. He might not be the best passrusher but he is a nice piece of the puzzle.
Don't think that you can say we lost draft spots. The seasons ain't over until it's over and to play for draft spots means to lose on purpose and that is not the Ravens way. I'm not sure that we wouldn't trade back anyway, even if we had the 3rd overall pick. About Marlon: I don't see him coming back. He did not show enough in my opinion. I also think we will get another WR this offseason so that leaves no spot for him on the team.
You know with all the injuries and all the bad luck we had this season, we still played all out today. Proud of the team. We played with heart and great effort today and you could see the chip on the soulder of every player. I think we have grown a lot this season and you can tell by the play of our young guys. Nicely done. About Mallett: You can see how much more talent he has than the other two... He can make plays when you need them most and he has an very good arm, need to keep him.
Is Aiken a Nr.1 WR? No. Is he good? Yes he is and he is getting better every week. Got to admit that I was little disapointed with his start of the season but man has he come on strong lately. His development is one thing to be happy about looking forward. We could have a pretty good WR corps in 2016.
Yeah and about those pants... Why gold? It makes no sense and looks stupid. All purple would have been a better experiment.
To draft this high is a opportunity. DB, passrusher, WR, whatever, just draft an instant playmaker but since our defensive backfield was a problem even when we had a great passrush I could easily see Ozzie taking a DB in the 1st round.
Let Clausen start for the rest of the season. Seems he got the stronger arm. Not much else to say about the last game but our young WRs are beginning to look pretty solid. Aiken, Butler and Brown made some nice plays. I especially like Brown. He looks like a TE playing WR. Just give them playing time to evaluate them for next season.
I agree. Why don't we get Brooks more reps. He needs to get on the field and he can't do much worse than Lewis. For the rest of this season we should also give some young players a chance and see what they can do!
Lewis wasn't very impressive, not to say disappointing this season. Considering we brought him here to be a leader and a coach on the field he looked to be out of position on too many big plays. He plays pretty inconsistent if you ask me. Don't think that Ozzie had this in mind when he got him. Guess you can say "Not produced enough" is an understatement in Lewis case... but it is good to hear that he tries lol
Monroe is an issue... But if you don't have a good replacement I would say we should keep him. We also have Hurst who might not be the best LT but he is still young. I think we have more pressing needs in the draft. About Williams... have you forgotten how bad he looked at times when he was with us?
It was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. Just sad to rob a young player of his first TD. Nevertheless I think Brown could be a very nice player for us!
You can see how Aiken is getting better every week. The more snaps he gets the better, but he is still no Nr. 1 WR. If he can keep it up next year we could have a nice WR group.
Wright is getting way better as well. I'm still surprised that he beat out Arrington though.
