  1. I don't know if Upshaw is quick enough to be an ILB. You also have to be able to cover people and I'm not sure he can do that, considering he had some weight issues in the past and was considered to play DE.
  2. We lost KO, but let's not forget that we got him in de 2. round. There is no reason to think we can't find another nice OL in this years draft.
  3. How do you fail to pay the tickets when you earn millions?
  4. All these concerns about Treadwell are misleading in my opinion. You know who else ain't got game breaking speed? Guys like DeAndre Hopkins or Anquan Boldin... If you can play you will make plays no matter what and I think Treadwell would complement the Ravens very well, since we don't need him to be a speed WR.
  5. I think there would be plenty of options :) You can always find a way to use great players. If we get Bosa the pass rush should be fun to watch
  6. Don't think we would take a chance on him in the second but maybe in the 3rd round. Would be a nice add. You can learn how to run routes but you can't learn to be a playmaker... you have it or you don't. That's why I would love to get him, but we will see
  7. No way we get Miller. He will get a monster contract and we can't match any money offered to him. About Treadwell: It depends how well he runs at the combine. I read some articles where people project that he will run a 4.7. That could drop him in the second round. If so we should try to get him there.
  8. The fact that he was unable to outperform Lewis is kind of concerning. He has the physical tools but to gain the trust of the coaches mostly means that you need to get better at the mental part of the game. Better watch some film kid...
  9. Yes a solid LT is hard to find, but I doubt that a guy like Ronnie Stanley, who was mocked to us a couple of times fits the bill. I often read reports that he is more of a finesse player, lacks nastyness and gets overpowered by physical passrushers. Can't have that in our division, especially if you play him at guard in the first year. If a guy like Ramsey or Hargreves are there I think we should get one of them. Wouldn't be so sure about WR, but I guess it depends how well they do at the combine.
  10. I have to disagree with those "experts" who think that we should go for a LT in the first round. Yes Monroe was often hurt the last two seasons, but getting rid of him and drafting an LT seems like a risky move. We would have to rely on a rookie LT and we saw that even the best LT college prospects often struggle in the first few years in the NFL. Not to mention that we would have to deal with some dead money from Monroe's contract. Let's say we keep Monroe and draft a tackle at 6, where would we play him? At guard? At RT? Considering our other holes this seems like too much trouble because we need guys who can come in an play right away. I would say we should go for a CB or WR in the first round and get a guard in the 2nd or 3rd and develop them just like we did with KO.
  11. As I said in a earlier post I don't see the Ravens taking an OL. It is by far not our biggest concern and I think our OL didn't play that bad. We just had many injuries. I would hate the pick of Ronnie Stanley for two reasons. First I have seen some reviews where they say that one of his weaknesses is his finesse style against physical passrushers. In divisions like the AFC North you just can't play soft and being manhandled by physical players. This shouldn't fit our draft profile. Second, I think we just have too many holes on skillpositions to invest in an OL. These mock drafts will change with the combine and pro days but I think it's kind of strange that nobody mocks us a guy like Treadwell. Anyways I would be very happy with Ramsey or Hargreaves.
  12. He came on strong in the second half of the season. Given our other options at CB we should definitely keep him.
  13. I like him, but i think it's gonna be hard for him making the team.
  14. I know we gonna get the best player available, but at this point I would say that we should look for our needs! Getting help at OL is by far not our biggest concern. We need playmakers at skillpositions. If there really is only a so-so wide receiver group this year, why not get one of the few top talents? If not a WR then please take a CB or OLB, anything but OL. This is a rare opportunity to get a gamechanger. We can get some good OL later and develop them. Look at KO we got him in the second round and he worked out just fine.
  15. Cool story, but he won't be back with the ravens next season.
  16. It's gonna be a tough choice between a WR and a CB in this years draft. Having a shutdown corner or a true Nr 1 WR are both very tempting options.
  17. Man I can't wait to see him finally play
  18. He did a nice job and he is still young. Gonna be a great player!
  19. With Ramsey it depends if you see him as a corner or safety. I have seen mocks where people argue that the Ravens should take a true corner like Mackensie Alexander instead of Ramsey. I wouldn't mind taking either of them because we need help at corner and safety.
  20. That just means he makes the switch to stay with the team. They might have told him that they would release him otherwise. But I'm quite certain that this is the end of Lewis. Webb might add some weight but that shouldn't be the problem. I like him as a FS.
  21. I feel you Jimmy. Every injury to your foot or knee has an impact on your game. I've been through it myself. It takes time to gain the trust again and learn how to deal with the situation. You need to adapt your game sometimes.
  22. Yeah it can't hurt to have two 1st round WR playing for you. I think Joe wouldn't mind to have them as well
  23. Don't know if we can get Ramsey or Hargreaves. Cahrgers and Jax are in front of us and both need help at corner. I would guess that we could land a top OLB or WR. But for now this is all speculation because it's very early and we need to wait for the combine.
  24. I think Monroes future depends on what happens with Osemele. I'm not sure about Upshaw but if there is a Team throwing big time money at him he is gone. If not we should try to keep him. Don't know if we can get a top CB with the 6th pick. Chargers and Jax are in need of a corner as well and they are ahead of us. Maybe we go for an OLB. But we will have to wait and see. Things change a lot til draft day and there is a long time left until the combine.
  25. Let's give 'em hell. Wow I'm already pumped for next season. Can't wait to see him play again. With that being said we can't just rely on him in 16. We need more firepower to keep a guy like SSS fresh through the season.
