  1. Yeah, well, if you think that after Kendrick Lewis dropped a gift floater interception and was guilty of a late hit, Elvis had a 15 yard face mask penalty with no time remaining in the game, Will Hill hit a defenseless receiver helmet to helmet and Jimmy Smith had a PI penalty for face-guarding is playing pretty well, then you and I will have to agree to disagree. Surrendering over twenty points to a team as bad as Jacksonville is not playing good defense and is not "playing well enough to win" as you and another blogger posted. Dean Pees' game plan was sound, execution by his players was poor at critical times again and the team's discipline is woefully lacking due to poor head coaching. BTW, going for it on 4th & 4 on the opponent's 36 yard line with 7:10 to play in the 1st quarter is another example of desperation coaching by Harbaugh. At a minimum, he gave away 16 free yards to Jacksonville on one of their early scoring drives. That puts more pressure on the defense.

That 4th & 4  bugs  me.  that call was not desperation. the score was zero/zero .find out who made that call and find the problem.

  2. It's nice being able to watch games with zero expectations and nothing on the line. Of course, I'd rather not be, but my body needs a break after 20 years of heart attacks every Sunday...

There's absolutely no reason why we should win tonight, but I think we somehow find a way and win 27-17.

RAVENS by 10,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I like it.. tonights the night............We bring our  A   game...Win on the road.

  3. I'm new to the forums.  That said.. I love football and as far as this season is going it's uncharted waters. There is a fine line between winning or losing and in the NFL more so.

I remember the Dallas game when Ray got injured. If you would have asked  if the Ravens would get to the playoffs and win the Super Bowl after that game the answer would have been no way.  Coaches made adjustments and put players/schemes in place . Players stepped up. Players made plays.  The ball bounced our way. I believe what Coach Harbs is telling us. There is no reason not to.  When you're losing you look at everything and then look again.  I know this is being done and I have confidence in the coaching staff and players.  I'm not liking the hate but I don't like most TV commentators either. :D.  Go Ravens!

  4. The whole team (well, minus a few guys) just looks flat.  Play seems lazy and uninspired.

The pass rush is still putrid.  The only real pressure we seem to be getting is on overload blitzes.

The lack of deep threat is really taking its toll.  The Bengals were sitting on those underneath routes because they don't have to respect the deep ball.

Joe's got the arm,, not sure why its not in the game plan. I think it would help the O
