  1. If every call in every game is going against us, the core of our team is injury plagued, and we are still within a score of every game we have played (most of them away) then I think things will be ok. Literally any fluke play possible happens against this team, the Browns guy catches the ball with his balls, CJ gets stopped but the refs for some reason think there is still forward progress, Dalton throws random touchdowns that somehow his receivers get, refs call ineligible receiver when our man CLEARLY signaled his eligibility to the ref, I mean anything that can possibly go against this team is doing so this season, and I am not even talking about the injuries and complete overhaul of personnel. I mean we have had a different offensive coordinator almost every year! we don't have single receiver except Smith who can cause any sort of seperation, the defense is inconsistent. What I am trying to say is that in the face of ALL of this every game has been close, every game has been decided on a play or two, every game we had a chance to win and I guess thats what makes this harder. But at the same time I am not worried, there are seasons like this and thats ok, because if we are playing this way when everything is against us, then this team is gonna be special when everything comes together. And hey theoretically there is still a chance to make playoffs, we are only 3 games back of the Steelers and we have the head to head away win and the season isn't even half way done. So until there is no more mathematical chance to make it, I still believe just like the coaches. And a lot of people are saying the coaches are dumb and dont make it a big deal, but its because they know we are so close in every game and if a few plays start going our way, we can easily win 5 or 6 in a row, and that can change this season around.
  2. Moved to the states form Russia, didn't even know what football was. Eventually I tried playing at school, loved the game when I learned to rules. Decided to try and watch it on tv, first game I saw was Ravens vs the Titans. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and the intensity of the defense blew my mind. I legitimately saw the Titans offense scared. Since then been a huge fan, and I live all the way out in LA.
  3. No you are right, i kinda underrated the offensive in 2012, but realistically, Baltimore paid Flacco over a hundred million dollars after the superbowl win, and so far since then he has looked pretty average. Don't get me wrong he has his games and he has glimpses of being great, but overall he has been very inconsistent. And I would say that he actually performs better in the playoffs but you gotta get to the playoffs first before performing there and thats been kinda tough ever since the superbowl. But you are right, his lack of weapons and a new OC every year doesn't make life on him any easier. Hopefully next year they can pick up a few good receivers for Flacco there are a bunch of good free agent WR next year, Harvin or Jeffrey would be solid pick ups
  4. after the first few losses I still had hope, I still thought this team will come together because the core was there and because they showed glimpses of promise. But after yesterday's loss, I will say that even though I am still gonna cheer for them, realistically this team is really bad. I mean apart from Steve Smith Sr. who came in after a back injury and was throwing himself around the field and hustling the hardest, there is nothing else positive. The staple of these Ravens team has always been their defense. They have always been able to rely on their defense no matter what the situation was. I means teams would be scared to come out and play against the Raven's defense, they would terrorize people. Thats far gone now, I can't even call it a shell of what it was. There is zero leadership on both sides of the field and the secondary can't catch or tip a single ball, every quarterback who has played against us has set the most yards on the year, that's embarrassing to this team that other teams were just afraid to throw the ball against. The offense has also not showed anything, The running game is mediocre at best, except for Smith the receivers don't show any hustle, and the offensive line is having trouble, and sorry to say this but Flacco is not worth the money the Ravens have paid him. He is the most inconsistent quarterback. You never know which Flacco you are going to get and so far this season every game we have gotten an average Flacco. He cannot lead this team and after each loss he doesn't even seem like he is disappointed! he has this look like well hey it happens. Thats not the way a quarterback, SuperBowl MVP, and a hundred million dollar man should look like after a season like this. Im sorry but he is nowhere close to elite. And I really think he was just lucky to be a part of this team who had a stellar defense that won the superbowl, he is no Brady, no Rogers, no Luck, no Manning, no Newton, not even a Stafford. This team came out this year thinking its gonna be easy, having high hopes for themselves, and haven't showed anything, they need to go back to the basics and come out and play the gritty hustling football that they have showed in their successful times. And Coach H. needs to just admit that he has a bad team right now, he has to stop saying that they are gonna get it done because he looks worse and worse after each loss. He his great coach but he needs to come out and say hey we joked it this year, we gotta go back to the drawing board, and get ourselves together because right now, we are a terrible team, as a whole.
  5. I completely agree, I think the players on this team are awesome and the foundation is very very solid, sometimes the games just don't go your way no matter how hard you try, and thats been the case these past three games. In no way were any of them blowouts and in every game we had a chance to win, just need some better execution thats all
  6. this one hurt, only got three words EXECUTION EXECUTION EXECUTION hopefully will pull a miracle turn around this season, and hopefully we can stop the Steelers with no Big Ben and a sub par defense, but we lost to the Raiders so who knows what can happen lol. Anyways GO RAVENS! The season has 16 games we aint even a quarter in, it aint over till its over.
  7. Arrinton should be cut, everything I have seen from his so far this year is terrible, even before he cost us the game by not staying with a rookie practice squad Raider who caught the game winner. He is slow, and looks confused out there, they should definitely give someone else on that team a try ahead of him.
  8. All this negativity! We were one play away of beating the Broncos who are a way better team than the Bangals!! Relax people, this team has what it takes, they just gotta get the passion back and their veterans like SSS need to be more clutch. We will be fine!
  9. Honestly as crazy it sounds from how the Raven's games have looked, I think the core and foundation is there, but they just need to clean up the overall game concerning the silly penalties and communication issues. And they need to be a little more clutch. I mean both games pretty much came down to Steve Smith Sr. not being able to come down with the ball at the end of the game. With the Broncos that catch would have been a win and versus the Raiders that last catch where he stepped out would have pretty much sealed up the game or at least taken us to overtime and gave us a chance there. So the losses have been very very close, its not like we are getting blown out. And these are all away games, don't forget about that part. And its the first game we have played without having any of the past all star defensive leaders on the field. I am not it panic mode yet. Can this team be better, of course, and it will be. There is room for improvement in all areas of this team, so with a little cleaning up and little more passion this team can do great things, the pieces are there. Three straight games against division rivals, lets handle all three games, and we are back in business, GO RAVENS!!!!
  10. You are absolutely right about his importance to this team and in no way shape or form am I saying he can be replaced, I am just saying that the defense will still be great without him, as it has been seen the year we won the last superbowl, the defense without him carried us to the superbowl in the playoffs. But as far as his game IQ and his presence on the field, it wont be the same.
  11. This game is on everyone on the team, except the secondary. Flacco got rattled and was throwing very uncomfortably, that is due to the fact that to O line was folding faster than a house of cards, the receivers barely had chances to make plays, and when they did they couldn't come up with the plays they were supposed to. Case and point a veteran receiver like Steve Smith Sr. has to catch a ball and win the game and not let it bounce of his helmet. I think he is a great and feisty receiver but that was a clutch play he couldn't make. The running game was disgusting again because the O line couldn't block anything out there. On defense Yea we lost T Sizzle, but lets be honest, except for experience and heart, he didn't bring much more to the D and was on a decline, otherwise the defense was immaculate, I am not concerned at all. Mosley is a beast, Jimmy Smith is a beast, Webb played great. Once Monroe is back we will be great on defense. Offense needs major help thought. Flacco needs targets and protection and an explosive runner, all those areas right now are barely mediocre. Hopefully Periman can bring something good to this team in terms of a deep receiver. But most importantly defense wins championships and we got a solid solid defense that is going to get even better with maturation of the great young players we have and a few holes that need to be filled. And Denver was the best team we are going to play all year, so it will only get easier from here on out especially knowing we were only one catch away from coming up with the win.
