If the Ravens can generate an offense, then they win. If not, the Pats will control the clock as the game wears on and get the W. Simple as that folks.
Harbaugh told reporters after the win. “They had a little back-and-forth in one of the quarterback meetings – that was fun to watch. I heard about it; I didn’t actually witness it. But, that’s what I think.
Really John? Come on man.
Looks like NE will be without Gronk and Amendola.
"""The Ravens aren’t going to dramatically shift their offense"""
They don't need to shift their offense, because you need one to shift one.
Glad to hear Jimmy is back, even though it is in a limited capacity. What we need going forward is the offense to not sputter out constantly. We've been up in several games and they let off the gas. WHY??? We need to be ruthless and bury teams.
Weddle is one of my favorite Ravens. Love his spirit.
That was a fun game to watch all the way through. Judon with his pass blocks, Doom with his strip sacks, Tuck with his FG record, and the final play was the grand finale. Good stuff!
You must have been drinking or going to the bathroom, or just blinking whenever the offense took the field, because there was nothing fun about that except the first drive. ;)
This section if for us "couch coaches".
I'm not going to come in here and say I'm happy when I'm not. I still support my team. I go to games. But I also like to share my love and frustration equally with other fans. It's all part of the game.
The Ravens are never going to be perfect, but this offense is offensive to me. I said it earlier in the season. My blame goes to the Front Office for letting go of KO and letting a rookie start at left tackle. I think injuries surmounted because of that.
But it is what it is and we need to move on. But we all can agree that we need to see more production from the offense. The story is getting very old.
The Ravens are a good organization in that they don't air their laundry to the public. But, a part of me wishes that someone would air the offensive issues out. Is it Joe? Is it the OC? Is it Harbs? Sometimes you need to be called out, so you can either step up or face the music.
Ravens need to control the clock on offense more, period. I'm happy to see some guys on O getting back on the field. We need everyone desperately. And the penalties need to stop. We do these things and the D will stay fresh and they can work through injuries on their side of the ball.
Everyone is failing to mention that if our offense could sustain more drives and not shoot themselves in the feet with penalties, we'd keep the defense fresh. And guys like Wright wouldn't be exposed as the game goes on.
I think we can take 2 out of the last 3 division games and possibly an additional 2, via the Dolphins and Eagles. Best case scenario, we sweep Pitt and Cinci, plus Eagles and Dolphins.
I get all the optimism, I really do. But we just beat the Browns. And the first half was Ugly!!!
Can we please beat a legit team before we talk about anything on the offense "breaking out", please???
It would be so nice to get some bodies back. The last year and a half have been brutal in that regard.
Suggs is awesome. This is going to be a great game.
I'm not worried about our defense. I'm very worried about our offense. Lewis and Yanda out is HUGE. I don't know if we can overcome that, but I'm a glass half full kind of guy.
Glad Dixon got something going, I like what I saw in pre-season, but there are bigger issues to worry about.
The biggest issue is the fact that the offense took so long to generate anything. A stable offense would have put up 21 points in the first half against the Browns. Instead, we shot ourselves in the foot with penalties and miscues all over the place.
Flacco and the ST doing the mannequin challenge was awesome!
Now, when we start to see other teams in the league doing it...we know that they are "biting" (copying) off of the Ravens who did it best and first!
GO RAVENS!!I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this move is so November 1st which with the way social media is these days is ages ago. Other teams have done this.

Who cares if other teams have done it first???
I love it. Have fun guys. This is a game after all. People take things too seriously sometimes.
Frank Walker? Really?
We're taking the lumps of Lewis and Stanley both being rookies on the left side. The plus is, if they stay healthy, this experience will pay off in the long run. Hopefully before the season is a lost cause.
I just happy to hear we came out of the yellow towels game without any further serious injuries. Hopefully, we can continue to squash the injury bug.
for real
I wouldn't ask for a better matchup for Stanley coming off an injury. You only get better playing against the best. Not Stanley can elevate his game where he "knows" it needs to be.
