  1. Get healthy boys!
  2. Baltimore fans aren't stupid. We know the offense is suspect. And there hasn't been any noticeable changes from week to week. I'm confident we are in for that rude awakening.
  3. I was already depressed about our offense before reading this article. Now I'm ready to jump off a bridge! LOL Seriously though. I hate hearing how "we are close" or "we're confident...". Just fix it and prove to the fans that you (coaches) know what you are doing. There is too much talent on this team to be squeaking out wins against teams that we should beat soundly. I don't want to hear excuses.
  4. I think most Ravens fans agree, the offense is suspect. A playoff/championship caliber team knows how to prepare, execute and adjust. They also show improvement each week. I don't think Trestman is a playoff/championship caliber OC for the NFL. I don't think his offensive schemes pose that much of a threat to opposing defenses and his lack of in-game adjustments further solidify my beliefs. But I will be the first to back him up if he proves me wrong, which I pray every week he does.
  5. I am in no way meaning our team doesn't have the talent. It will just take a little more time.....remember Joe only played like 1 qtr. in pre-season. Give it a little more time.....I have faith in them.......do you???!!! I have a lot of faith in the players. It is Trestman that worries me. I can cut him some slack since last year we were ravaged by injuries, but I expect more.
  6. A good OC puts his players in a position to excel. You don't make it to the NFL if your not a good player. The team is not a well oiled machine on offense. With all the talent we have, it should be. Plenty of other teams, with less talent are better. JAX has the 16th ranked defense and we looked horrible. yesterday: Perriman, 2 receptions for 22 yards Wallace, 3 for 34 years That's over 10 yards/reception. Yet the Ravens could only muster 5 catches between the 2 of them? Granted Smith and Pitta combined for 14/127 For an OC with a pass happy reputation, he sure doesn't impress me. Flacco 29/40 for 214. 2 INTs, no TDs PEDESTRIAN
  7. I need to see the media start talking about Trestman. It is as if they are purposely avoiding the topic. The bottom line is that his offense does not look prepared going into games. There is very little adjustment, in-game. And the overall production is pedestrian. With all the weapons we have, we should be averaging over 300 yards/game and at least 3 TDs. Average.
  8. Can Trestman properly game plan and prepare his offense? That is what I'm worried about. I haven't been sold on him since day one. But I want to be, so Mark, GET HER DONE. And don't just squeak it out. You have the weapons. Put them in a position to dominate.
  9. Special teams could be the best under Harbaugh, so far, if they keep it up. Love the Hester signing.
  10. I agree with everyone's post so far, except Crusader. Coleman was out of bounds, so the game shouldn't have come down to that last drive like that. Yes, there were some other ticky tacky calls along the way on both sides and we prevailed. Need to put it behind us and prepare for JAX. Another road game.
  11. I should also add that Joe is on pace for only 24 TDs , but 16 INTs! At the end of the year, if he has 30 TDS and only 8 INTs, I think he is a Pro Bowler. But both numbers need to improve.
  12. Overall, decent comments coming from the Browns camp. I'm curious why there isn't much talk about Coleman's TD. His foot was clearly out of bounds.
  13. Joe is on pace to throw for 4,500 yards for the season, which works out to 281.25/gm. 258/wk1 and 302/wk2. Smith accounts for 83 of those. That puts Smith on pace for only 664 yards for the season. They'll need to make up those 336 yards with some big plays. And if they do that, it will be huge for Smith and Flacco who could possibly see his first Pro Bowl - if he cuts down on the INTs and keeps getting the ball in the end zone.
  14. It is absolutely remarkable that Pitta recovered from his injuries. With that said, why doesn't any other receiver develop a relationship like that with Joe? Maybe Wallace can. The jury is still out on Perriman.
  15. Let's not forget this week is the first week that Flacco and Perriman get to practice together, during the regular season. Hopefully they can improve their timing. The run blocking should be a big priority this week.
  16. Flacco is on pace for 4500 yards this season, just saying. Just need to eliminate the INTs.
  17. Glad we pulled that out. Some ticky tacky calls both ways. The taunting call was crucial. Here's my take. When you get up from your play and you are tossing the ball back to the ref - make sure no one is in the way - period. Not saying McCown would have pulled off the win. CJ picked him off and that is what happens when teams are on a drive with little time and no time outs left. Lots of things to work on and improve. Let's just hope they do. We need to show some dominance this week vs. Jax. Go Ravens!
  18. It was a good start for him. I am happy for him. I thought he looked good. Showed good hands, even caught one thrown behind him. Routes looked good too, he created some separation on the intermediate routes. Can't wait to see what he does with Flacco slinging him the ball. Should be sweetness.
  19. It was great to finally see a glimpse of what this kid can bring to the table. I really liked what I saw.
  20. This was only a great win for the Ravens because we so desperately needed it. It was not a great win as far as execution goes. This team has a lot to improve upon.
  21. If the NFL isn't going to allow the players to hit each other hard during practice, then go out to a game and get all banged up... and then on top of all that have all these concussion procedures...I think it is time for the NFL to re-evaluate how many players a team can have on the regular season roster and also increase the cap to accommodate this.
  22. Way to go Ravens. This was a no brainer! Glad to see JJ back in the house.
  23. I love the full bird on the shoulder and I love the old Ravens letters on the front. The numbers are a little big, but overall I love that jersey. Yes to the throwback uniform. Obviously the helmet is out of the question but the Ravens could take the opportunity to make a throwback style helmet to compliment the jersey. I think the full bird across the helmet would be cool. Or the bird face logo on the sides.
