  1. I am optimistic that having Marty take over the offense is going to spark that "confidence" that the O lacks. It's clear the players weren't buying into Marc's system because I don't recall them ever responded to him, with the media, like they already have with Marty in the last few days.
  2. I hope we see a positive change on the field too.
  3. The 2 constants over the last 8 years - Harbaugh and Flacco. One of them is the real problem, if not - both. I love Joe. He has shown those glimpses of greatness, but in between that a whole lot of head scratching. John was a breath of fresh air after Billick left. The polished optimistic guy that made you feel good about everything. The problem is I feel like now all he is doing is blowing smoke up my "you know what". My advice to Marty, Keep Joe under center. His mechanics are better there. Run the ball to generate a good play action. Use the gun with a back, never empty. And let's see where we can go from there.
  4. What the Redskins said after the game: Thank God they stopped running the ball.
  5. Well Joe. I honestly hope things are different for you now that Trestman is gone. I hope Marty has a better feel for the game. I hope he better utilizes our players and I hope you are in a better position to WIN. GO RAVENS!!!
  6. Agree but I ask this; when is Harbs going to be held accountable for his coaches? Doesn't he review the game plans? It's obvious from his press conference he didn't even realize Trestman abandoned the run yesterday. When is he going to learn how to manage a game and make the necessary in game changes? Harbaugh just used his one and only scapegoat. If things continue to fail, he should be put on the chopping block. But for him, there has to be a reasonable/respectable and wise replacement on hand before that is done. It is one thing to axe a coordinator. Entirely different for an HC.
  7. Took long enough!!! I hope Marty has a better feel for the game than Trestman.
  8. The worst part about a slump is everything negative gets magnified. Shake it of Shareece and put it behind you. The best part is you know your going to be targeted so you're going to get your opportunity to make things right. The sooner you do it, the sooner they back off. Now go get 'er done baby. We need you.
  9. I don't like the sounds of Stanley's injury. The Ravens are playing it the same way they did with Perriman's injury last year.
  10. Good luck getting back on the roster Waller. You are young and have a great opportunity in front of you. Don't ruin it. The weed can wait until you are done the sport, or until it gets legalized, which it should be in my opinion.
  11. Why do I feel like the Stanley injury is going to turn out like the Perriman injury last year?
  12. I'm so sick of the Ravens offense constantly being in the lower tier of the NFL. It is time to put up or shut up for Flacco and I am a huge fan of his. I also think Trestman does a disservice for this team too. Granted we have a lot of question marks on the left side, and that is on the GM for not making sure our depth chart was adequate. So, another year of disappointment looms for this offense because the Ravens, as a whole can't freaking get it right. SO FRUSTRANTING!!!
  13. Frustrating loss. The offense starts the game no huddle and takes a dump all over itself with penalties. What an embarrassment. You're at home for crying out loud, not on the road. The crowd is on your side!!! This was the most important failure for the team. If the offense can't generate any momentum at home, your doomed to fail. The defense held strong for the most part, and yes, that last drive by Oakland is not excusable, but if the offense did their job out the gate, we would have had a win.
  14. Get well Stanley, we need you. BAD!
  15. Not going to happen in Trestman's offense.
  16. Thanks for all you've done for us Justin.
  17. I can tell you what the Ravens offense is good at. Penalties. And they were committed by veteran backup players!!! Inexcusable. And there is only one option as far as a good plan is concerned. Stop committing penalties. Good grief, the Ravens were at home and Trestman goes no huddle and the team shot itself in the foot non-stop which gave Oakland even more time to settle into the game. That killed the game for us, right there and then. Discipline folks! And this is on the coaching staff. Clearly the players aren't properly prepared.
  18. Biggest takeaway so far this season - NO ONE IS BUYING INTO TRESTMAN'S OFFENSE. Except for the opposing defenses.
